Could've been better if someone was responding to email, online data collector to arrange an appointment or a phone call. Not one attempt made to respond. The local business groups of affiliation are always addressing to "Do Business Locally"....but after 3 attempts to engage a replacement plumbing group for installation and maintenance for home and business...it's tough to do business locally if a local business ignores local companies or homeowners trying to engage them. However....Better Plumbing Services chose not to respond to any attempt. Not one response. I'm glad it wasn't an emergency. I'm glad it wasn't a call as a client to discuss further work....or warranty work for a new homeowner with a plumbing problem. However....things worked out as I found another licensed, family owned-operated and hands on plumbing service for my jobs because they were hungry not just for the work...but taking the work of my company away from their competition. I always give a fair assessment on YELP. This is about as fair as I can give a company that simply chose to ignore a call to do business. I won't try again. Get a second opinion! I have had Better Plumbing at my house for two minor fixes. Both times was quoted over $1000 for a "repair" that would not have even fix the issue. Both times I sprung for second opinions and both times was able to resolve issue for less than $100. But, hey they can usually get to you within 24 hours so that's likely what's keeping them going. If you like your $$$ I'd get a second opinion. As far as, Covid goes 1st technician, Jimmy, did NOT wear a mask when he came to my home. On the first visit, punctured a pipe and water leaked everywhere. Soaked the floor and the ceiling below (he replaced the pipe he broke but offered no further compensation just said it will dry up) 2nd technician did wear his mask and was overall more professional. No mess ups this time cause after he gave me his diagnoses and quoted $1100-$1500 minimum to "attempt" to resolve the issue. I gladly paid $65 trip charge and said have a nice day. It's tough times for any business. My suggestion is to monitor technicians more closely. If someone spends money with your business it's ok to call and follow up to see how it went. This company came highly recommended by the small company that takes care of my heating and air conditioning. I needed a whole-house water shut-off system (my insurance company decided require it!) and also needed to get my noisy steam shower made quiet. The boom-boom as it turned on and off was really bad. I researched the water shut-off system based on three systems that were certified by my insurance company. I chose one, and then went to these guys to get an install price. They agreed to do it for what seemed like a fair price, and to try to take care of the steam shower. They learned they had to become a dealer for the shut-off, and did so. Then ... they showed up on time, worked quickly and neatly, completed the work, CLEANED UP, showed me how the system worked, and left. (It has been ages since a plumber, electrician, etc. actually cleaned up all the saw dust, solder droppings, etc.) The work was perfect! They met all their time commitments and were easy to work with even on this unusual project. And they were very nice people. They will get all my future business! read more

This is the absolute worst company that I have called for service. First the technician Alan came to give and estimate had to ask him to put covers over his shoes..I had a faucet in the kitchen which I already knew needed replacement and a shower handle over the tub in the bathroom leaking. he told me how much the faucet would cost if they provided faucet $549.72 and $249.72 if I provided the faucet. The next shower handle is where it really took the wind out of my sail. He slightly checked the shower handle and in a non-nonchalant way immediately said what's behind the wall. I responded a bedroom. He said the only way to repair or fix this handle is to cut out the wall. I said who will be responsible for the hole of course not the company. The estimate cost on labor would be $850.00. the total for labor would be $1099.72 . If company provided the shower handle the cost would be $1900.00. My complaint is that the technician did not give any other solution to the shower handle problem except cutting the wall at an over inflated price. I found out the next day from another company sent out by my home warranty company that the shower handle could be accessed through the front to replace the cartridge. I cannot suggest what a person should charge for their services but ....i felt that due COVID-19 there is a lot of price gouging going and people need to be aware that is happening. But I would never call a company that want to charge me almost $2,000.00 to replace a faucet and shower tub handle. I feel this gentlemen was unprofessional or not knowledgeable of how to fix my shower handle problem or he just wanted to go for most he could get. This was my first time using this company and they were amazing. My technician was Ricky he came out on time fixed another botched job that I had done from a previous plumbing company and also tell me what I needed to complete the job. I initially called better plumbing on short notice and the lady who answered the phone I believe her name was Diane if I'm not mistaken she was very personable and had the technician out the very next day. Ricky said that we needed to order a part he would have to come back out to put that part in once it came in the mail when that part came in he came and fixed it and I haven't had any problems sense. Both times he came out I received a follow-up call from the office asking how his service was and I really appreciate that because nowadays you don't really get that. I don't normally write reviews but this company did such a great job that I would be remiss if I did not let everyone know. I had a water heater go out. I called my Home warranty company and they sent out Total Plumbing Pros. Levi diagnosed that it need to be replaced. He called it in to the warranty company and a few hours later I received an email that it was ordered. this is where the Warranty company failed for some reason the water heater was not ordered. I called and spoke to Cindy at Total plumbing and she helped straighten everything out with the Warranty company and the distributor and even was able to get Levi back out to install the water heater in the same day. I'm not sure where to write about the GREAT service I received from Rick (and company) over the last weekend! We are military and do not live in Georgia anymore and our rental home had a septic tank problem the weekend before. Well, Friday night I got another call from the renters letting me know the septic tank had backed up AGAIN! I called the septic company (total 1800.00 rip off) and they said it was a plumbing issue. I called Better Plumbing Services and explained as best as I could to Rick the problem... Although it was late Friday night, Rick went to the house, dug a GIANT hole, narrowly missing the rainstorm, relieved the pressure for my renters and called me! Although he suspected it was a septic problem that they should have fixed, he got them "ok" for the weekend... They then went back on Monday and completely fixed the problem for me and didn't charge me an arm, a leg, and my first born!!! Thank you so much!
