I got a call that afternoon about scheduling an appointment, I was told that they would be able to come between 8-10. I gave my information and according to my call long I didn't talk to anyone after that. I got two confirmation emails about the appointment. The next day rolls around and it's around 8:10 ish and I call to give my gate code ( since I forgot to give it during the last call) realized They didn't' open until 9:00 that day so left a message and waited. called and gave my gate code and asked if there was an eta on their arrival. the person I talked with said they would ask for the repair person to call me with an eta. I waited Until around 10:20 and then called again since I had not gotten a response from anyone. Another person answered and I had to give all of my information over again ( had to do this about 6 times wiry different people). they tried to reach out again to a technician and said someone would contact me soon. 10:40 rolls around and no response, needless to say no one could help me since they couldn't get in contact with any technician and couldn't tell me what was going on. I called a different service and canceled this company since there was such a lack of communication. About 4-5 hr later another person calls me from this company ( the person I had scheduled with yesterday had a different number from the website number for some reason) and told me that I had called her again and canceled yesterday because no one would be able to come ,( my call long only shows one call where I actually reached her and we just talked about scheduling) there was no cancellation email or text saying the appointment had been canceled , no one during the morning mentioned that the appointment might have been canceled so I was unaware that that was ever a possibility, and I has no recollection of even talking about that. The worst part is that Diana made me feel like it was all my fault and I should have been aware of this the whole time. I felt very upset and it seemed like she was blaming me for her mistake. We hung up , and a few minutes later she had the gall to ask if I wanted to reschedule, after the poor service and lack of communication. Needless to say if I could I would rate this zero stars but I can't, the only positive was a few of the people I talked to in the morning seemed to want to try and help me, the rest made me feel like I was bothering them

Once doing so, you'll understand the pattern of deceit Steve employs. To replace my main water line and fix a drainage issue in the backyard, Steve gave us an estimate of $4,100. I'm a first-time homeowner of a few months, and I was too trusting & naïve to ask for a written quote. Steve began his con by charging me $1,500 instead of the stated $150 to assess plumbing issues at the house (Steve's response will be that this is a clerical error on his part.) At the completion of the job, the price increased from $4,100 to $10,000. His reasoning for charging us over 100% of the original price: "rock excavation" and "irrigation repair". I employed a licensed, Master Plumber to estimate the cost and specifics of this job. His estimate was $3,400. When I asked the 3rd party plumber about the cost of unforeseen subterranean rock, he quipped that our house "isn't on Stone Mountain", and that amounts of subterranean granite, as well as irrigation lines, should not increase the original estimate because it is a reasonable and obvious part of the plumbing business. Steve advertises himself as a "Licensed and Independent Plumbing & Heating Contractor". I spoke to the Secretary of State's office and they could not find his license. Furthermore, when asked to provide his license ID number... Steve refused. (Steve recently deleted this claim from his website; however I have a dated screenshot of the previous claim should anyone care to see.) On my invoice, Steve asserted that "parts" for the project cost $4,000 (roughly the price of his original estimate). The 3rd party plumber assured us that the parts for this job couldn't have cost any more than $400. After all the work was done, our irrigation system didn't work. The irrigation service we employed deduced that Steve's sub-contractors had not fixed the irrigation system that Steve charged us over $2,800 to fix. Furthermore, Steve refused to pay the $550 for the irrigation errors that his team caused. At the end of the day, it was my fault to trust Steve Malone. I signed the invoice and payed him... unaware that I was being taken advantage of, and that this plumbing job should have cost a fraction of what we were charged. My goal in writing this review is to make sure that no one else makes the mistake of trusting this man.

I turned the unit off and scheduled an appointment with my regular A/C guy. He said he wouldn't be able to get out until this Saturday - but since the whether was so mild - and would be until Saturday - he recommended just shutting the unit off until then. No worries, right? So I turned it off. Only to discover yet another puddle of water overflowing into the family room again the next day. I figured I needed someone ASAP . . . so . . . I went on nextdoor.com and found a posting with several replies / recommendations - and Wade Heating was one of the posts with a glowing recommendation. I called about 5 minutes after 5pm - and left a message for the after hours team. A service technician called me back less than 20 minutes later and quickly put my mind at ease. He was kind, patient and courteous. He asked me several questions and took me a through a checklist of trouble-shooting tasks. He did not attempt to alarm me - like a less scrupulous person might have done - and explained to me why I might have been seeing the additional water a few hours later. He suggested that I give the office a call the next day - and I did. Great customer service so far!

I had one unit go out in Sept of 2017 and the other in 2019. I have spent well over $15,000 on two A/Cs and two furnaces. It was a rental unit so I went with the cheapest route. They kept calling me back to increase the price. How does a new A/C unit NOT fit an older furnace? It looks like you taped the two together anyway!!! Now it's 2020 and the house is being sold. The home inspector states the downstairs furnace doesn't work. I am 2 hours away and working so I call Wade heating and air. They come and put 2 AAA batteries in the thermostat and it works. Anthony there at Wade charged me $24.36 FOR 2 AAA batteries!!!! I understand the $79 service call charge but who do you think you are charging me $24.36 for 2 AAA batteries. I looked back on the 2 furnaces and air conditioners that I purchased and was way overcharged for those also. I will never use wade heating and air again. I would recommend you take your business elsewhere and save your money!

Chris, as the sales person, was generally quite accessible throughout the process. He had allocated two days for the installation. I noticed after the second day that the job was not fully complete, as expected in the two days (I had carpet cleaners scheduled two days later and wanted to make sure they were done). They came back for part of a third day to complete it. The installation techs were very friendly and explained things to me. It went a bit over the time expected but the job was completed well. So far the system is working marvellously.

I am a First Home Buyer who closed on my home in GA the 1st week of October 2024. My realtor and I brought this to the sellers attention, and required this be one of the items fixed in the home. My seller utilized Accurate Heating & Air, LLC to come out and fix this problem. They claimed it was fixed, and provided the invoice they paid to this company, and claimed the fire stayed lit for 23 minutes to confirm repairs. This was in July of 2024. Finally getting to closing in October 2024, I had not moved into the home, and no one was staying in the home. I started getting things moved in the end of November, and turned on the Heat, and to my shock it was not working. GA has been in temperatures of 30 Degrees, and it has been very cold, and this was unexpected. I remembered that this was a problem that was supposed to be fixed by this company, and so I reached out to the company to explain my grievance. Brian, who is the owner, I could not get a hold off and ended up speaking to his wife Meredith. After explaining the situation, and that no one had touched the furnace or even been in the home till end of November, she automatically claimed it was not her companies fault that the heat is not working, and that it was fixed in July. I advised I dont see how if this was fixed and no one has been in the home since, why all of a sudden the heat is no longer working. She stated they can come and take a look and see what the problem is and get me a quote, which I advised this is something I shouldnt be liable for and should be passed on to the seller as this was claimed to be fixed. I contacted the sellers agent and explained the situation, and she stated she would work with Brian on this. The company finally came out on Monday, 12/2 to look at the issue. Meredith stated initially that her husband Brian would come out and handle this, but it was a different technician, Austin, who came out. I am not sure how long he was there, but I never got a call or response from any party that day as to what the problem was. Fastforward to 12/4 & 12/5, I reach out to Meredith on understanding what the problem was and received an invoice for service of $88.40. I believed this was the amount due for the work as stated in the invoice, and reached out to confirm when they could come out to do it. Meredith then states this was just an invoice for them to come out to look at the unit, and the estimate was going to be around $400. I decided not to continue with this company, as I couldnt trust the work was going to get done right, and so I advised she didnt need to complete the estimate and send. She then states that I still have to pay the Invoice as they came out to look at the unit. I told her that was very wrong, as this should have been a courtesy from them who originally did the work and claimed the heater was working when in fact it was not. She then threatened to go to the courts to put a lien on my home if I dont pay by 5pm that day. NO WORK HAD BEEN DONE & I was left with still a broken heater. I would advise all parties to stay clear of Meredith and Brian, and this company as they have terrible customer service, and dont care about the client at all, just the money!
