Honestly, one of the worst Taco experiences I have ever had and would never go again. I had about 2 hours to spare and decided to go pickup some food. The restaurant was mostly full but the line was alright with about 8 people ahead of me. However service was incredibly slow from the woman taking orders to the kitchen staff. Over the course of 30 minutes the kitchen had called out 3 orders from orders 222 to 225 while my ticket was 245! Not to mention, the staff have an intercom system to just read out ticket numbers, but are instead shouting through the intercom system. The restaurant was alright in cleanliness with a security guard in there as well. I soon realized that a majority of the seats were taken up by people on their phones just waiting for their order and only about 2 tables actually had something to eat. I decided to place my order and go home to just come back at a later time. Even then, I came back and ended up waiting 30 minutes more. Overall, I believe I waited over 1.5 hours just for my food (This is starting at 10:15pm by the way, so not exactly rush hour). I would definitely not recommend ordering here if you want to get some quick Tacos. Waiting this long for food at a sit down restaurant is already extremely questionable, let alone a fast food taco joint. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. This place is a joke. Prices are sky high. The wait time is sky high. The workers don't understand what you want. A few tacos takes 45 to 1 hour to prepare. Seriously, this isn't a 5 star meal. It's taco meat and salsa. Why it takes so long is a mystery of the universe. Don't understand why people keep coming here. It's extremely overrated. King taco is the best!!!! My 6 year old son tried their carne asada tacos for the first time and said "Dad, these are the best tacos ever!" Food is fairly priced, tastes amazing and you know what you're going to get everytime you come here. Here's an idea for king taco.... Add a VIP order line, maybe we can pay extra for faster service. Came to this location today...Monday, Nov 24 around 2pm...the lady who attended me and was making my tacos was extremely RUDE.. first of all their speaker is very low.. second of all..plus with the music they put its even lower....third of all.. I know the employees are overwhelmed because its a packed place.. but come on.. it doesn't hurt nothing to be kind to customers When I was picking up my food.. the lady started yelling at me saying she called me 2x already, I apologized and said I'm sorry the speaker is very low and the music is super loud.. she then threw me my tacos and she added onion and sauce to them and I told her I asked for them plain she yelled again and said on the receipt it doesn't say that, well I'm sorry but I clearly said to the cashier.. she ran to the lady next to her and told her everything and that she called 2x and now I don't want these tacos... and they were both looking at me. Came here after my trip and coming back from the airport. Always have great food and always gonna have great prices for what the cost of food now is. I got the nachos and doors and they're solid for the price the apple was a bit stiff but the meat is spot on as well as the restaurant it was very clean and empty for 7pm on a Monday night. Staff was initially nice but asking for napkins and extra sauce seems like an inconvenience even with a nice tone. Decided to stop by for lunch today 8/1/2025 and bought the burrito with Al Pastor. I ordered to go but wished I would have eaten it there so I could return the burrito that was sold to me. This burrito was basically a Beans and Rice burrito, it was almost void of any meat. You could literally count the pieces of meat it contained.I have been a King taco customer for over 35 years, but this seems to be the new normal with this franchise. I'm not saying stuff the burritos with crazy amounts of meat, but at least give portions equal to the price. Very disappointing, this is not the King Taco I grew up loving. read more

STEER CLEAR! King Taco is NOT what it used to be! Went to this location after multiple bad experiences with Fontana and Ontario is no better. It's lunchtime we get there before the lunch rush and there's 2 people ahead of us and we wait 20+ minutes to order. We order 3 chicken and 1 pork tamales and an Asada burrito and wait an hour for our food. I watched the person give the guy ahead of us our food because I heard him order 2 burritos. We go up there and advise the rude person and she looks at us like we're stupid. The guy said oh, is this yours and hand us the bag with the tamales and she hands him our burrito and he leave with 3 burritos and 2 tamales that she gave him, hmmm . That's bad/horrible customer service. Then now she's nervous as we called her out and can't roll the burrito, ask for help after the tortilla split then tried to roll the burrito into another tortilla and we stopped her and said "we don't want that"! She pushed it aside then made another burrito. Our food was cold and all the tamales were under cooked. How can you NOT BE READY for lunch??? Customer service is awful, staff is rude, staff also act as if they don't understand english, food is not seasoned, food not cooked and ready to go, online orders were messed up and most were wrong and not ready as we watched 5 people come in to pickup their orders and had to wait which created a line, and the rude guy never apologized and one person came back in and asked for a replacement order or refund because the food was cold. Was this done on purpose??? Hmmm . The bathroom was cleaner than Fontana but carries a bad smell/scent, and why does it take so long for orders to be filled when waiting we're watching staff chitchat with each other wasting time as if they don't want to work which is called "milking the clock! When we left the line was extremely long and we know that anyone who was there for lunch didn't make it back to work on time due to the long wait. We also witnessed several people get out of line and leave because of the wait time. Now here's the caveat I contacted the Corporate Office and no response and their ratings are bad too. I've been going to King Taco since I was a little kid; back when the tacos were only 50 cents! My favorite has always been the Tacos Al Pastor. They're always so flavorful and delicious! It's still my go to favorite to this day. I wish they would open some locations in Orange County. I waited over 40 minutes for my food, for my soapes to be soggy, I did not mind waiting but its just that the food was soggy. I wish it was worth the wait I wouldnt have minded the wait. I am a regular customer and I Have never got soggy soapes. The cashier was super sweet though I am very disappointed with my food being soggy, i know it was just sitting there waiting for the rest of the orders , also had no salsa on the soapes I wanted salsa. Busy like always but so good!!!! The tacos are always so good, especially Al pastor Be Ready to wait easily 30 - 45 minutes, especially on the weekends. I personally only get the tacos but friends do rave about the sopes and burritos. The ambiance is chill, a lot of people but big enough to sit and eat. The one plus is that they changed there hours back to pre-pandemic hours, open late night daily. Weekends until 3am! read more

My wife and I LOVE King Taco. We have never had a bad experience and today just wasn't it. Just EWW. Meat was dry and chewy with absolutely no flavor. What happened?!?!
