Stopped by Torta Sinaloa in Ontario and ordered the regular asada torta--and it did not disappoint. The bread was flat, grilled, and super fresh, which gave it that perfect crispy bite. WOW!! I just discovered this delicious establishment and I am BEYOND impressed. My husband and I tried the Chilanga Torta and it was amazing. I'm usually very picky and don't eat Tortas but I'm so glad I tried this place!! I'm dreaming about the next time I come back!! The Torta was so rich, flavorful, and fresh. Not to mention, the spicy habanero salsa they give you on the side was top tier and spicy!!! They lack no flavor. The ambiance was so clean and beautiful-- I felt like I was in Mexico. We just happened to be next door and we saw the huge variety of auga frescas they had so we went in. The service was superb. The place smelled and looked clean. We were offered samples with a smile and gloved hands (super plus!!). We ended up getting the strawberry lemonade and the mango. The large size was gigantic and perfect for the hot day. read more

This is probably my favorite torta place. I've had tortas at other places, although they might be good, the tortas from here will always be my favorite. My go-to order is the Fontana with pepino & lime agua. I also really love their green salsa. The service is always quick and the employees are really friendly. The space is pretty big and isn't too packed for lunch hour. My mouth is already salivating at the thought of having a torta from here again. 10/10 definitely recommend. read more

This is sad to say because what was once my favorite place to eat became the place I won't return to again. I just came from there and the girl and the lady working were wearing blue gloves. Touching money and cleaning. Not once did they change their gloves. I saw her throw chemicals and clean and still went to touch the agua fresca and add my straw. Mexican food is not hard to find in Ontario. This spot will be a regular lunch option for me after my first visit. Be warned, their food is NOT to be eaten while driving. Loaded street tacos or torta sandwiches need to be eaten at a table as to minimize making a mess of your shirt or car. Huge selection of tortas and mine was just delicious. Been here before service was amazing this time ordered and 4 people after me got there food and left before me. Once I received my food went home and noticed my order was completely wrong call the restaurant and spoke to a young lady who wasn't helpful at all after explaining my problem she asked me to check my receipt even after telling her I do and was missing certain things she advised me tha I might be wrong and to bring the complete torts back with reciept.. after explaining to her we took a bite she laughed and said it wasn't wrong then.. I asked for manager and was told no one was on site I asked for A name was told no name could be given due to policy... i understand then I asked if I have a complain who can I speak to ? Visited this place years ago when they first opened up and I use to live in the area and would eat here quit often (many moons ago) however after years of not eating here I was in the area and thought I would drop in for old time sakes. First the parking situation is not the best but not that big of a deal, not sure what happened but the place was empty...only one other customer at the time we went, place was still clean and well Lite, I did notice they were half the size in the dining area they once had when they opened years ago. The workers were standing around talking for a bit before they decided to come ask if we needed anything (hopefully they were taking about something important). Since it had been so long I just decided on a Fontana torta and a pina water to drink. Received food in a good time frame and tortas was not bad but just didn't have the "umph" it once had for me and just seemed to be lacking, they should really considered serving with some kind of side, easiest thing would be fries but I digress. As previously mentioned food was ok but the atmosphere seemed awkward not sure how to explain which just added to the over all experience, which could've been solved by playing some soft music in the background especially when the place is empty. Again over all it was ok and visited for nostalgic reasons, may or may not visit again if I am in the area, just hope they can up the vibes game. read more

My bf came here when he was working and thought this place was great so he wanted me to try. There was a line outside and they are social distancing hard - I really love that. You only go on to offer your food & to pick it up. The are so many portions of tortas & is so hard to choose I got a pork one with aguacate y pina Agua fresco. It was so delicious. I actually liked my drink better than my food. I don't remember what my bf you got his torta but he ordered a cantaloupe Agua fresco and I thought it was super sweet. I love how the drinks were fresh. I wish I lived closer here because I'd go more often. read more

My suggestion is to put 1/2 the sugar measurement and if a customer wants it sweeter provide them with sugar on the side. My favorite go to place for tortas! Soooo many options available, I have tried at least 10 different ones and they are all delicious... "Guasave" is definitely my favorite. The aguas frescas are all GREAT. Definitely the chocomil (chocolate milk) is a must!!! It brings back memories of childhood vacations to Mexico. They also make fresh juice, my husband loves the carrot and orange juice. We always drive down to Tortas Sinaloa, we are not from the area... But, It is definitely worth the drive!! read more

nasty!!! the torta had way too much pickled onion and lettuce very little meat i ordered a quesadilla with carne asada and the cheese tasted like vomit!!! i let my wife try some and she gagged the cheese was very very strong flavor i only took a few bites and i could not eat the rest even though i was hungry! i was told it was the same owner as the fontana location fontana location is better... the meat at this location was cold and hard i drove a long way to come here i will never come back here again! i think they use goat cheese or something it was disgusting it actually tasted like theow up!!! read more

I'd like to start off with a compliment. The Torta Fontana is tasty. The service was fast. But, are stingy on the salsa. However, this restaurant is practically forcing you to buy their expensive aguas frescas ($5 for med, $6 for large). They are good but not $5 or $6 good. They have no other drink options; no sodas or bottled water. Aguas frescas is not always my first choice. They are not thinking about the customer but rather of their most profitable item. read more

I've tasted several different tortas there, but my favorite is the queso Oaxaca with acodado. They also have good desserts. I recommend this little spot. Running into this establishment was completely accidental and boy am I glad it happened! As always, it's difficult to choose where to grab some dinner after work. My bf has always given me a choice to decide where I'd like to eat, which as you all know can be really difficult! I like to visit all of my bookmark spots on Yelp before I add more restaurants to the list. Too bad for the other establishments, because they were closed or they moved locations for tonight. We ended up choosing Jacks. Right across from Jacks, I noticed 3 restaurants that caught my eye; a Chinese restaurant and two Sinaloa restaurants. Yelp gave this place 3.5 starts, which is usually something that would prevent me from wanting to try but I decided to give it a shot since the decor really caught my eye (and I am a sucker for Mexican food)! The decoration is simple yet bright and everything was very clean! There are plenty of tables to sit down at and the dinner rush happened after we ordered to go (around 8PM). As soon as you walk in, you see 7 huge glass barrels of refreshing drinks (kind of like Green Crush!). We tried: #21- Chorizo, Queso Americano & Aguacate $4.25 ***they charged us $5.25*** #33- Culiacan (breaded steak, panela cheese, beans & avocado) $6.45 ***they charged us $7.45*** Medium Aguas Frescas lime & cucumber $3.32 (for just 36 more cents you can get a large, and the cups are LARGEEE) I'm not quite sure why they charged us a dollar extra and then included tax in the end. We didn't even pay attention to the receipt until we got home. I will have to ask the next time we come back. The food was delicious! I can't believe we've been missing out. It's super close to my bf's house yet we've always overlooked and drove past it! The meat melts in your mouth, the bread is the perfect crunch for every bite you take, and their sauces are the bomb! I also had my eye on their chocolate milkshakes. They made me salivate... it is a must that I come back to get more tortas and to try their chocolate milkshakes! I will be back! read more

I rated this place a 1 star, because there was nothing lower than a 1 star. Service here is terrible. It took me more than 20 minutes to get two tortas. The cashier took her sweet time to take my order. I was the only customer at the establishment. I think l know now why this place was empty. I got home and both of the tortas were mushy. They tasted vinegary and the meat was very salty. My torta was literally falling apart after my first bite; due to the wetness the torta had gotten. Not to mention the bad taste of vinegar, soggy bread and salty meat. I was very disappointed. I was eating the worst torta ever. I felt like l wasted my money. There was no point in returning back to the restaurant, the drive was not worth it. If you want a salty torta with a strong vinegary taste? This is the place to go. I strongly do not recommend this place. Tortas should be tasteful, meat should tasteful like fully cooked meat, and the torta bread should not be soggy. read more

About 18 different aguas frescas to choose from and let's not talk about the tortas, 60 different tortas on the menu! Basically, any torta you might be craving, they have it. My favorites items from the menu are the Asada and milanesa tortas and pineapple agua fresca. Honestly, everything looks delicious though. The prices are very affordable and they are open from 9-10 pm which is great, you can stop by anytime you're hungry! Tortas Sinaloa is located in a small shopping center, so don't worry about parking. read more
