Unfortunately This location is horrible! It seems that there must be a requirement for everyone to be rude in order to work there. Also the past three times I have used ClickList it has been a disaster, twice they shorted me items on my list but still charged for the forgotten items. We tend to go out of our way to come to this Kings, because the one right by our house is very old and cramped. On our last few visits to this store, though, I'm wondering if it's worth it. Their parking lot is a bottle neck, the employees have to reeeeeeally try to be nice, save for a few very nice kids, and they have been out of something I need the last few times I've been. The bright side is their ethnic food aisle and cheese samples. Meh. I'm really hoping the store at Wadsworth and Church Ranch gets a face lift soon! read more

Oh, Remodeled King Soopers! How do I love thee? This is the largest of the remodels I've seen... complete with Toys, Furniture and Jewelry. Say Whaaaaat? But my favorite part of the new Soopers layout is the Prepared Foods, Olive Bar, and Cheeses area. There are various types of Olives, Tapenades, Flavored Hummus, Feta salads, Pasta Salads Pickles and Pickled Veggies, a Salad bar, Sushi, Cheeses, Soups and more. There are plentiful samples (because who doesn't love a nosh on a grocery run?) The bakery is in the same area, so you can snag a lil bite for dessert! As for the rest of the store, it is typical, albeit bigger selection, King Soopers. But this one has clean, wide, well-stocked aisles (due to the remodel.) The prices are WAY lower than the dreaded Safeway, let alone Whole Foods. Even at the Prepared Foods area, the prices are dollars less. Although it's not exactly in my 'hood anymore, you'll find me making the trip up here more often than not, thanks to the awesome remodel! read more

I'll never understand how it is 2019, and Soopers still chooses to use plastic bags at check-out. So so environmentally backwards. Get with the times and stop the plastic bags already. Holy Crap this place is HUGE! It's a little overwhelming when it's not your usual Sunday shopping stop. The good: Boar's Head deli - the Boar's Head products are not always easy to find, and not carried by all King Soopers stores. The location that is 2 blocks from my house does not have Boar's Head. This alone is worth a trip. Seafood & Butcher counters - nice selection of quality looking meat and seafood Cheese counter - HUGE selection, and they usually have a nice selection of cheese's out to sample The bad: Have I mentioned how big this place is? The layout is a little bizarre, and the "directory" signs that hang above some aisles aren't always helpful. Last weekend I was on the hunt for red wine vinegar. According to the directory, it was in aisle 1 - that in fact was not correct. It's in aisle 2. CORRECT YOUR SIGNS! Lack of organic everything - I mistakenly assumed that since this place was so large, they would have a nice selection of organic produce, organic meat and other organic products. I was wrong. They have the standard selection you'd find at any other King Soopers. Only it's somehow more annoying here because it's spread all over the store. They could really stand to reorganize some. I live about 2 blocks from another King Soopers, so when I need to make a quick stop at the store, it will continue to be my spot. However this one is worth a trip on occasion. read more

I used to come here for all of my floral needs because it was so easy and fun to pick flowers for a personalized bouquet. The floral department employees have always been lovely and helpful. The reason this is a one star review and not a five is because I have had two terrible experiences with the same person. Her name tag says "floral department manager" and I am horrified because she was so awful. The first bad experience was in August, during their open hours. And when I asked for help, her tone and demeanor was intended to make sure I knew that she didn't want me there. She threw my carefully chosen flowers on the counter, haphazardly wrapped them on and shoved them at me. So I figured, ok. Maybe she is having an awful day, maybe something terrible happened. Who knows, you know? So I let it go. I came back again yesterday (during open hours) and it was her there again. This interaction was just as terrible. She treated me like I was imposing on her, she was snippy, not helpful, and just really miserable. Maybe she makes a good boss, but she probably shouldn't be around customers if she's going to treat them like garbage that's interrupting her. I'll drive an extra 15 minutes to Whole Foods. They have a smaller selection, but you won't walk away feeling like crap. They kindly arrange and wrap your flowers and hand them to you without murder in their eyes. read more

My wife recently started using Click List. Started out great, but then we would get a rotten pineapple and then today we noticed that the Simple Truth Chicken we purchased had already past the "best by date" on the package. We thought that the items were supposed to be carefully picked. My wife called the store today and spoke with Alec. He completely agreed with our thoughts and personally went and got the freshest chicken breasts from the Simple Truth line and hand delivered to our house. The only reason this is not a 5 out of 5 is due to the items not being more carefully picked through from the start. read more

As far as Cakes go this Bakery has it all. Gifted in Decorations, layered cake, variety of frosting, and the proper moisture in the cake. I was extremely impressed with the Ombre effect decorated throughout cake including the lettering. Have not purchased a birthday cake in the years and was surprised to find that Teal and many other colors are available. The Dragon was crafted beautifully and a delightful sight. The frosting was a butter sugar yet not over sweet which is rare and always preferred. The layers were fantastic but I do not like jam in my cake. However the jam layer was thin so in my opinion it means it was done correctly. The chocolate swirl cake layer fitted in well with all the other flavors. Overall Creative, Stunning, Moist, and not overrealming on sweetness. So if you're feeling nostalgic for your birthday this would be the bakery for you no matter what your age. Last but not least the price was only $20 and this cake to me would be worth 50 dollors; hats off to the baker's! Thank you. read more

I was surprised that they had a large baby section there, a jewelry store, pharmacy. I love that they have all those cheese samples too. Deeeelicious. Today Paul at the King Soopers on 80th and Wadsworth made my day. Grocery shopping with a newborn is a new thing for me, in fact, it was my first solo shop with the little dude and Paul made the experience amazing by asking all about Billy and helping me to my car. He kept me from stressing out when Billy started to cry. I have always loved King Soopers for employing mentally disabled people and for giving them a home but today was the icing on the cake. Paul told me all about being fired from Safeway for being late to work 4x over many many years and how he applied to King Soopers and how much he loves his job. Great move by management. This is a quite large location. It used to be really junky until it got a rennovation into a Marketplace a couple of years ago. After that it was AWESOME with a widely varied selection in tons of different categories across the entire store. Now that the shine is starting to fade from this location it seems that they have trouble finding what to fill their huge space with, so it's always kind of a mess to get around inside of it on the north end. They also keep moving things like the liquid hand soap. One might think that it'd be next to the rest of the soaps, but the jokes on you sucker. Good luck finding it. The produce is always right in the middle of acceptable plus or minus being picked a week to early or has been sitting a week too long on the shelves. Highlight of this location: the cheese selection is pretty impressive over in their island that is surrounded by it. read more

Main issue here is that the access to this store is HORRIBLE. Getting in is dicey and getting out of the parking lot is worse. Interesting selections including clothing and some furniture. Checkers are not as 'up on it' as the checkers at 100th and Wadsworth store. I'm reviewing the floral department at this location. Although I like the store itself, the floral department is AWESOME. I won't go anywhere else for flower arrangements now. I have never had flowers last as long from more expensive places. I've even purchased some arrangements in the discounted section at the back of the store and they are beautiful. This is not a standard King Soopers/City Market/ Kroger. Comparable to a Walmart with a much better grocery side and a smaller (better maintained) section of clothes, toys, home goods and more. This mashup is called a King Soopers Marketplace. While impressive in many ways, it suffers the usual problems associated with a huge retail establishment who's employees are often burned out, underpaid, or just enough of a worker not to get fired but not enough of one to make a difference. I have visited this store a few times, and I often find myself overwhelmed by customers and trying to navigate the aisles to find what I need and get the hell out. Today was different though. I made it in just before 7AM and the store was devoid of other shoppers. I grabbed a cart and headed in, pleased with the lack of annoying people cutting me off without an 'excuse me' and bumping into me. I skipped produce and deli, heading for the bakery to browse around and maybe find a quick breakfast. Everything was stocked fully, looked great, and appeared fresh. They have 3 different self-serve displays; one with bagels and croissants of various flavors, one with doughnuts, and one with a mix of cinnamon rolls, fritters, and other such sweets. The woman working the bakery department was keeping very busy, but made sure to stop and ask me a few open ended questions and greet me warmly. Meat and seafood were still setting up, which is to be expected. The employees seemed cheerful enough, but not one of the three made an effort to acknowledge me in any way. The product was fresh enough, and stocked well for being the morning after ad change. Signs of a good closing team or a really good opener. Old dates were already pulled and holes were mostly filled. Center aisle grocery department was in decent shape. Not to many OOS items, although there were some carts of empty boxes here and there, and the aisle of oils and condiments had overnight grocery crew leftover product and trash all over it, along with a vinegar smell and spill, left unattended. Dairy was in a little worse shape, and the young man working product out was blocking the back aisle with his carts and empty boxes, made no effort to let me by, and totally failed to speak despite making eye contact and watching me move his boxes to get by. Very poor customer service on his part. The last aisle I hit was baby supplies, well stocked and clean. Made it to checkout lanes, of which there are many. None open except self-checkout at the far end, despite three cashiers leaning on lanes and buggies, chatting in front of a few registers about the up coming day. None acknowledged me whatsoever. Make it to self-checkout, get ignored by two employees. One leaves, the other walks right by me without word or a glance and proceeds to greet another customer by name and start a conversation. Walk away without acknowledgement again. Head to the Starbucks. Both baristas there were extremely friendly and attentive, and had both of my drinks and another customers out in under 3 minutes, all served with a warm smile and a thanks. If not for that, I would have left on a very sour note. The bakery department and Starbucks deserve commendation, the rest of the employees deserve condemnation for their lack of effort to provide any level of customer service. read more

I've yet to get the full blown experience of a King Soopers Marketplace with a sushi bar (kinda scary), specialty cheese shoppe (some decent stuff here), home fashion department, bed and bath, jewelry?, etc, etc, etc. Grand opening is on the 13th of November (the high dollar, fancy flyer that came in the mail with drawing entries for prizes in each department albeit a smart marketing ploy to get you to visit each department has a glaring typo. "Wednesday, November 13th, 6:00AM" is in large print in the middle of the foldout mailer. The correct day and date is elsewhere in the flyer.) I don't know how much of what is there will pass muster but I'm just glad that I don't have to drive cross town anymore to shop at a decent King's. Just sayin' you feel me? read more

I really like going to kings; they have great sales and a good selection of cheeses you can't get anywhere else. I usually opt for the self check out because they can get overwhelmingly busy. This last time though, I was more than irritated; Another lady also needed help from the checker. Well I got the "attendant has been notified to assist you" notification. Usually, you just peak your head up and they push the button and voila you're back in business. Not this time, the other lady and I were just looking around we couldn't even find the person who's suppose to help us. I pretty much was running late as I needed to pick up something quick for the dinner that was already in the oven. I might have only been standing for a minute or two but when the line is growing, your dinner is burning and all you need to do is swipe your card it seems like an eternity. Here I am, looking around for someone to come help us and someone did start coming in our direction. He took a sharp turn to the customer service desk and ignored both of us .Ok (?) He barely started looking over at both of us and the other lady made a slight gesture, he instantly snapped at her " I know!" eek . I don't know if the guy was just having a bad day but being incredibly rude isn't going to make people want to return...especially since he's ruining the self checkout and that usually constitutes zero hassle. * I have since visited after I started this review and he's no where on sight I'm assuming someone else had a similar situation* read more

Do not buy visa gifts cards from this store.Three that were purchased as gifts from this store were hacked. King Sooper offers gas rewards if you buy gift cards from them but if the cards are compromised it makes it very expensive gas. The card company, Bancard and US Bank, the bank they process through, are no help. My son received a visa check/gift card as a Christmas gift that was purchased from this store and it was hacked before we received it. Bancard will now take until at least mid March to process a new card only if there is no dispute against our claim. This happened to two other cards that were purchased from this store. The bottom line is the store got its fee, US Bank got their money, and bancard got its fee so nobody really cares now. Merry Christmas read more

This store's shelving and aile arrangement layout feels outdated, unorganized, overcrowded, and not always clean & neat! Employees should wear uniforms! The self-checkout stations are cramped and their self-bagging mechanisms make it difficult to make large purchases. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR STORE more like a WHOLE FOODS Market! I and other consumers are really annoyed when shopping here after 10pm when there are ABSOLUTELY no cashiers to process purchases & one must use your outdated self-checkout stations which are very often preceded by a long waiting que. I always buy premium Organic food at your store that's higher priced than conventional food & feel I should not have to go through the hassle of self-check after the 10pm deadline. Regarding Fresh Produce, please keep it stocked with much fresher fruits & vegetables regarding organics. PLEASE FIND A WAY not to close the main door after 10pm as these night time shopping periods are often uncomfortable and nightmarish with the crowds. This store was remodeled in the past year, and I have to say, it looks pretty. It's hard not to look pretty when everything is pretty much brand new. I stopped in to get some cheese from the deli. I was disappointed to find out that the cheese I got was stale. $10 a pound, and it's stale. I went to my local KS and got it replaced without a problem. While the store is nice, I won't make a special trip to visit this one. read more

We are very disappointed in the Customer Service Desk! My son (6 years old) spent 10 minutes deciding on which vending machine toy he wanted (it was a tough decision) and finally after picking the machine jammed and it wouldn't release...and of course he was upset and I didn't have any more change or cash on me...he then spent another 5 minutes trying to get it to release and couldn't, so he asked if we could tell someone and get his money back. Keep in mind this was only 75 cents ...but it was HIS 75 cents...trust me I wanted to just leave but instead we walked over to customer service and they said "we don't have anything to do with those machines." Floral department is embarrassing! My fiancée and I were looking to save money by having King Soopers be our floral vendor. We walked into King Soopers and made a B line to the floral department so we could gather some rate information. As we walk up to the flower department counter, the employee decides to leave as we're 5 feet away. We understand if she had other work to attend to, but she stood at the entrance making small talk with others. After 10 minutes of waiting, a different employee approaches saying that we need a consultation with the floral dept manager. No problem right? It just happens to be the clueless employee that left us to chit chat at the service desk. She walks up to us with a frown on her face like we ruined her day. With no information at all to offer us, she says that we need to come prepared with what we want next time. We're not the experts, she is. Second, she goes on and on about how expensive flowers are in Feb. Does she want us to change our wedding date then? Lastly, she made no effort to setup a consultation with us to discuss prices. She was happy to tell us about her upcoming out of town trip. The floral department is embarrassing because they made no attempt to earn our business and didn't care if they lost hundreds of dollars in revenue. The gentleman at the bakery, Corey, was more than helpful as he went out of his way to give us recommendations. I give the floral department 0 out of 5 stars. read more

I have about had it with this store. I do most of my shopping on Sunday because it is the only day I really have time to get that done...and this King Soopers shelves are always empty on Sunday. They don't do their stocking until Monday...which is ridiculous because most people shop on the weekends because they work all week. But that is when their shelves are bare. If it was periodically, I wouldn't mind so much, but it is every week that they are out of at least one thing I need...usually more. Absolutely unbelievable. So I think I will be having to find another store to prevent me from having to go to multiple stores to get everything I need. read more

I love and hate this store. It''s huge and has a ton of healthy/natural foods. However, the produce department sucks. I often find spoiled produce throughout and have unfortunately brought home things only to find mold. I've also bought ground beef from here, taken it home and opened it the next day to find a pungent smell. Parking can also be difficult to find here. read more
