Last night, my friends and I decided to go anyway, knowing the quality was always great... and I'm so glad we did! To my surprise and delight, Chef Vito let us know that all of their pastas are vegan and he could easily modify the sauces to suit my diet. The food was absolutely delicious--it tasted just like the meals I had in Italy. The quality, attention to detail, and service were even better than I remembered. I started with the fennel and orange salad, followed by a beautifully adapted pasta dish, and every bite was perfection. We left so happy that we chose to support a locally owned restaurant instead of a corporate chain. My first point of contact was Lisa, who was an absolute professional from start to finish. Everything on my wish list became reality with Lisa's help. We were able to have the marriage ceremony, Cocktail Reception and Dinner in the same room which was very important to us to avoid travel in the event of bad winter weather. The room was beautifully arranged and the fireplace was a welcomed addition with the -12° temps outside. Our guests can't say enough nice things about the entire experience. The food was beyond expectations, beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The dessert options were works of art, I wish I had thought to take pictures! Our sincere compliments to the Chef of course. The entire staff at Harpo's worked together so beautifully to make this evening a dream come true for us. Harpo's incredible service and their patience maneuvering through a fun loving crowd, all the while, taking care of another wedding in an adjoining room is noteworthy! We spoke with the hostess and she was an absolute sweetheart. We did not know they have been around since 2008! However, there is new ownership this last year. I must say there's a reason people are recommending the food. There is free parking in behind the restaurant. The interior is cozy and has tables for dining in. We opted for a wrap and a plate; splitting both. The plate was loaded with rice, garlic sauce, hummus and lots of chicken shawarma. Topped with another sauce, this was the perfect combo. The meat was juicy and flavorful. There were multiple dressings to choose from for the salad. The Barg wrap was a steak wrap and my hubby commented on how tender the meat was. The wrap was an ok size and was a nice mix of veggies. All in all we had a solid experience and will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Apparently the shawarma tasted as good as it always has however, my when husband dug deep into the rice and put a big fork full into his mouth, he chomped down on a rather large piece of crumpled up aluminum foil. For the life of us, we can figure out where it came from since the food was in styrofoam containers and the only other thing we were given were plastic utensils and napkins.
