As we walked up to check out the menu, the cashier--Jason--immediately offered us samples of their soft serve flavors. That alone was unexpected, but it got even better when he told us we could try up to three flavors. Great service right from the start. We sampled the premium matcha, milk, and black sesame, and honestly, we were shocked by how generous the sample portions were. They weren't tiny bites either--we were actually getting full just from tasting everything. Premium Matcha (3/5): This is definitely geared toward true matcha lovers. It had an authentic, earthy, slightly bitter profile with grassy, umami-rich notes and a clean finish. You can tell it's high quality and not overly sweetened, which is a plus--but it leaned a bit too bold and bitter for our personal taste. Milk (5/5): This one was our favorite. It had a light, delicate sweetness with a smooth, velvety, creamy texture. The flavor was rich but not heavy, almost like a fresh dairy softness with a subtle vanilla-like warmth. Super comforting and perfectly balanced. Black Sesame (4/5): A really unique flavor--deep, toasted, and nutty with a slightly savory edge. It had a roasted aroma, a hint of natural bitterness, and a lingering sesame richness that made it feel complex and satisfying. Definitely something different if you want to try a less common flavor. After finishing the samples, we ordered a milkshake ($6.27 with tax) and asked if we could mix the regular matcha with the milk soft serve. Jason had no problem with that at all, which we appreciated. We also made sure to tip because the service and generosity really stood out. The milk/matcha milkshake itself was amazing--ultra creamy, smooth, and well-blended with a silky texture. The sweetness was just right (not overpowering), and the matcha added a subtle depth without being too strong. It was refreshing, satisfying, and honestly the perfect after-dinner dessert. Light enough to enjoy comfortably, but still indulgent. Overall, great flavors, super friendly service, and a welcoming experience. The generous samples and flexibility with orders really set this place apart. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the Jusgo food court and craving something sweet!

It was located in an Asian shopping complex with tons of different options. I am glad we chose to get some desert here because it did not disappoint. Only regret was not buying another for the car ride home!

I actually wasn't even going to try any custard when I was at the Duluth Food Truck event. I was…read moretold by someone eating it....this custard is really good man. So I figured i'd give them a shot! Taken from a blurb on their website, "The Great Atlanta Custard Company is your newest frozen custard truck to hit the streets of Atlanta. Our goal is to deliver a quality premium frozen dessert treat to our fellow Atlantans and those beyond that could be enjoyed without sacrificing taste or freshness. Frozen custard is one of the only true dairy frozen treats. It has a very rich flavor and creamy texture that is sure to be a crowd pleaser" I decided to order the Lemon flavor custard, one scoop, in a cup for $3. The color was striking, and hard to believe, but the flavor surprised me more than the neon yellow color. It brought me back to the times when I stole some lemon cake batter my mom was mixing with my finger, because it tasted JUST like that....just cold. The texture was silky smooth and much softer than ice cream, and the flavor just popped. Truly delicious! There were more flavors, including your standard Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and even coca cola floats, but I couldn't remember all the flavors they had on hand. In a series of misses at several of the Duluth food trucks, it was a pleasant surprise to be wowed by something I wasn't even looking for. Definitely check these guys out if you see them at a Food Truck stop near you!

They have a small selection of flavors that are constantly changing and of course you pay by the weight. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it isn't as close to me as I would like, but the drive here is more than worth it. The Froyo shop has an app you can download, that allows you to pick your favorite flavors/toppings and will let you know when those particular ones are in your closest store (as not all flavors/toppings are served everyday). The app also tracks your purchases and you receive "smiles" for $ spent. For every 50 "smiles" you get a reward! The interior is always clean and the associates here have all been very nice. On multiple occasions I've ran into the manager of this location, and he is just the sweetest. He always has a smile on his face and asks me how I am - talk about personalized service. The parking is shared with the other tenants in the shopping center, but it never seems to be too overcrowded. The Froyo is self-serve. You first arrive and grab an oversized cup to start your Froyo experience. From there you have a variety of options (sorbet, dairy free, etc.) that you can choose or mix and match from. Once you've grabbed your base, you'll make your way to the topping area where you can get anything from fruit, cereal, nuts, sauces, etc. Once you've completed your creation, you take it to the counter where they will weigh your final product and tell you what you owe based on its total weight.

They also have a variety of other types of goods- from jackets and plushies to coffees and specialty soft drinks. I made sure to take a picture of every shelf and display when I visited them this past Saturday. I had the triple chocolate and praline double scoop cup. The Praline had pecans, but it also had some kind of cookie/pie crust crumbles inside that added a really nice crunch. The triple chocolate was rich and deeply chocolate-y. I have only tried a couple of the chocolates thus far, but at $2.95/piece, they are competitively priced compared to similar shops. My mom got the dark chocolate fudge and it was gone before I could ask her about it. Luckily, I also got some dark chocolate fudge and a peanut butter chocolate fudge. I'm looking forward to it! They are currently looking for help, so if you happen to be into making chocolates or want to work in a unique type of store- this might be a fit for you! The employees were very nice and remained patient with us as we traversed the shop and snapped pictures of everything. They are a cash-less business, so bring your CC and earn some points! Right now, they are decorated from the upcoming Christmas holiday, but it seems the owner likes to set up different decorations and displays and offers unique items around various holidays. Their chocolates aren't quite as good as The Chocolate Fetish, but their local- which brings them up a peg for me!
