He only cleaned up the line on the first of three coats, so the white tips came out bumpy and irregular. $30.

Walked in at about 3pm on a Saturday and I was the only customer. Service was quick but the gel French tips have a bumpy line and the white tips were applied before the base coat. I've got that whole excess gel on the side of my nail going on. Likely won't come here again. Gen Manicure with French tips was $30.

Ok so heres the story: I promised my 6 year old niece I would get her nails and feet done today but time got away from me and before I knew it, it was close to 8pm. I didnt think much of it because its a Saturday and most businesses tend to stay open later but, not nail salons. I went to a few and they were all closed, some closing as early as 6pm. Thats crazy! Its a Saturday and I would think they get the most business on the weekend. So I decided to look some more and remembered King Nails in the shopping center next to Costco on Rt1. I called them before going over just to make sure they were open and was happily suprised when a man answered the phone. I asked if they were open and he told me to come on over! At this point it was a little after 8pm. I double checked with him to make sure it was ok to still come because I didnt want him to have to stay late and he again said to come on over. When I got there the sign on the door said they close at 8pm so I felt bad for coming in so late but there was 1 other person there and another one came after me and then another one came after her. I realized he schedules his returning customers at later times so they dont have to wait on such a busy day and when it best fits their schedules which is extremely nice of him! He was very pleasant. I apologized for keeping him and he made sure to let me know its no big deal! He took his time with my niece and myself while doing our nails and didnt rush us through the process at all (I expected to be rushed out of the salon because it was after hours). We had a great conversation and I ended up leaving at 9:30pm so it shows how long he took to do our nails and the precision of his work. He is such a nice nice person and does great work and I will certainly be returning! Looks like this may be our new go to place!! Thanks Tommy!!

OPEN Light was on and I called that number after pushing and pulling on the door. On Thursday afternoon around 3:30 pm!

I came around 3:30 pm on a Thursday afternoon. The sign said OPEN but I saw no one inside and I pulled on both doors three times and even pushed-- THEY WERE CLOSED! I even called the number on the door. Stayed for 5 minutes and called a few more times. First calls were busy then the rest kept ringing.

What I left this nail salon with. Cuticle cutting went a lot too deep!

Five years and counting! This place is my go to for a reason. Friendly service, beautiful results…read moreevery single time, and a team that genuinely cares. Couldn't recommend it more.

Y'all... I thought I had found my new nail shop at The Nail Shop…read more The environment is exactly my vibe--muted gray tones, minimalist decor, subway tiles, modern finishes, soft music playing in the background, and plenty of parking right out front. The place is clean, relaxing, and has an impressive selection of colors. The massage chairs were so comfortable I was literally drifting off to sleep. The prices were also cheaper than other salons I've visited for the exact same services, and it wasn't overcrowded. Walking in, I was ready to give this place 5 stars. Then the service happened. I arrived at 12:30 PM and didn't leave until 4:30 PM. FOUR HOURS. For a pedicure, nail removal, full-set of new Gel-X nails (no designs and nothing fancy). I understand Gel-X removal can take some time, but my pedicure alone should not have taken over 2.5 hours. The first technician was fine until it came time to paint my toenails. The polish application was honestly terrible. My toes looked like little stubs. Of course I spoke up, and thankfully I requested Pin, who had excellent Yelp reviews. She ended up fixing the work and did a much better job. There were also some organizational issues. I wanted my eyebrows waxed, but apparently someone forgot to plug in the wax machine, so the wax was still cold and hardened. How does that happen? Another thing: if you're going to keep clients for four hours, please offer something. Water, snacks, crackers--anything! I was absolutely hangry by the end of my appointment. The only reason I was finally offered water was because I was coughing from a cold, and that was toward the very end of my service. Overall, the salon itself is beautiful and relaxing, but the actual service experience didn't match the aesthetic. If you decide to visit, I'd strongly recommend booking with Pin or the owner. They seem to be the ones ensuring the work is done correctly. Would I come back? Maybe. The potential is definitely there, but they need to tighten up the service side of things.

I think it's because I was one of their first clients when their nail salon open. The decor is classy and chic bc the owners present that way as well. The quality of the service is also good! My only gripe is the prices. They are pretty and high, and bit more than their competitors, and I would understand that if we were served refreshments, wine, and snacks like another location I frequent for my pedicures ONLY! Additionally, I wish they had other options for paying for the service besides cash and the credit card that involves a 3.5% service charge. I paid $65 with no wine or snacks for this basic fill-in with French Manicure. Plus, the particular technician I went to today was very slow, meticulous, so I appreciated that, but very slow. It took an hour for this (see pics). I would recommend this business, but I will continue to explore my other options too.

The chairs and ottomans they have are so comfortable! I immediately felt relaxed. This was my first dry pedicure, so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I do not know if I would bother coming back again due to a few reasons, but I would not try the same tech again. One, I noticed after the appointment that I had two cuts on separate cuticles from the tech trimming them back. Additionally, each of my cuticles were not given the same amount of attention. One particular finger stands out with the gap between the gel and my new growth being larger than the rest. I am aware that perhaps my nails grow unevenly, but I've gotten my nails done before and never had this issue so I think it's still worth noting. I also left the salon with unnoticed gel under my nail that I had to chisel off later. Lastly, at exactly the one week mark, the gel on one nail started lifting. That particularly upsets me because I'm worried about moisture and bacteria getting trapped so I had to remove the gel much sooner than anticipated. I work a desk job and genuinely don't do much with my hands so I am confident it wasn't anything I did. Overall, for $60, I expected better. I am honestly most disappointed because I was willing to support a salon with their values. Lastly, parking at the co-op is no longer free and hasn't been for at least a month. I wish their website would be updated.
