Everything worked as advertised. Nice spot, easy access. Washed my trailer, no issues.

I put in 5 dollars to wash my car. No soap. Called the manager on the sign. I didn't want a refund just letting him know there is no soap. He said you have to put the dail on soap. It was. Then he said what color I said yellow no I mean peachy orange whatever faded color that was. He says we don't have that color and hung up. Very rude. I wish I had the owners number. I had a friend with me who heard the whole conversation. I will look into that. read more

Aware - this carwash did not provide full disclosure: 1. It does not tell you the rate - many self service tells you how many minutes for how much. This one does not. 2. It does not give you a "1 minute" warning like other carwash if you used credit/debit card. You can spend unlimited amount. You have to manually hit the stop button to stop the wash. 3. It does not tell you which outlet is for which cleaning product - there are 3: water is obvious; foam is somewhat ok; there is a blue little one not sure when to use. 4. I checked with onsite staff and he said he didn't know the rate either. read more

Do not come here to wash your car if you want them to take out more money out of your debit account than what's posted. It cost 6.00 to wash yet was charged 10.00 yesterday. We looked at our bank statements from the past and just realized they had been charging 10.00 each time. We will be filing a report since they don't answer or return phone calls. They need to stop taking advantage of people's hard working money. Oh you responded within 10 minutes because I left a bad review! How about answer your phone or return a phone call within 10 minutes?????? Don't get upset because you are practicing BAD business. Have you seen how many negative reviews you have on the internet. So if people are not seeing your signs then maybe you need to redo the signs and make them LARGE enough to see! read more

I recently went to the King Klean Monterey car wash on my road trip after my trip to the legendary aquarium. My car (my baby) has never looked so good! Those tunnel car washes always leave dirt and create swirl marks! 10/10 will recommend to my friends! read more

First of all the name of this car wash is KING CLEAN carwash of Marina. It is the worst car wash I have ever been to, really. I only vacuumed my vehicle. I put $2.00 in the machine and it would not work, so I put another $2.00 in, thus spending $4.00. It turned on and I started vacuuming. After 3 minutes, the entire nozzle of the hose broke off and the machine turned off. Thus, a waste of $4.00. It was annoying and the time on the machine was only about 3 minutes. I minimally cleaned the 2 front seat area mats. Then I said F it and went across the street to the Shell Station, which also had a car wash and vacuum machines. I put $1.50 in the vacuum machine and cleaned my entire small car, which lasted about 7 minutes. Just sayin...Marina Car wash is neglected and a rip off! I hate getting ripped off, go to the Shell across the street instead folks! read more

I have been going to this carwash for a few years now and have always been satisfied. I get a good wash, reasonable pricing, and everything seems to always be working and clean. I heard there's a new owner and he seems to be on top of everything! read more

King Klean - Car Wash Near Me - Marina, California

See all

Since moving from my last residence, I had several items left in my car that did not fit in storage and I decided to go to this carwash to organize and clean my car from the inside to to for the purpose of it being clean and making more space so that my kids are comfortable in the back seats. I proceeded to open my trunk to get started and took out my blanket, a folded up scooter and a crock pot along with a small 2.5' faux tree. I was about to get into my cleaning mode when a worker ( who might have been the owner,) approached me and told me that I could not throw away any of the items I mentioned into the trash. I politely told him that I was NOT intending on throwing anything away other than the " regular" trash one throws and that I was just organizing. He then, REPEATS himself but this time talking to my 15 year old son and I got upset at him and told him that he's a minor and I'm the mother and he needs to direct his inquiries/ issues with me. He scoffed and I changed my calm tonality to a not so calm time and repeated that I'm just organizing my car. I asked him in a sarcastic tone if I should leave and he said yes. When I asked for his name he refused to give it to me. Once I left, I called the office but there was no answer and I assumed that the voice on the voice mail was his because it was distinct. I was curious because I am going through a rough time and I just wanted to get organized there being that I don't have my own home yet, otherwise, I would have. It seems that the owner is running more of a rest stop for people rather than people seeking to clean their cars. Maybe to make his life easier idk. All I know is that his behavior was unnecessary and rude. I was very disappointed being that it was my favorite car wash because of the location and accessibility. If I had ten thumbs, I'd give it just that for his unprofessionalism and lack of people skills. IDC where it is someone works but if it's to serve the public then learn some common sense. read more

Super car wash! Excellent power in the spray hose! Obviously managed well Keep up the good work! read more

Do not use your debit card to vacuum your car here!!! It's supposed to cost $2 and you get charged $10. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me and there is no way to contact anyone to get your money back read more

Love washing my car here! Great spot in Marina, wash, vacuum, big trash bins - chill spot to get your ride feeling great again!

I washed a car here. They do not give you very much time. Had to spend $5 to do a small car. No drive through auto wash here.

Nice location providing a decent self serve wash. The only issue here is that they seem to be doing some work in a few of the washing bays rather than having them open for customers and cars. They didn't seem to be doing work on the car wash. I found that strange since the bays could be open for customers. read more

**SHORT REVIEW ALERT** The only gripe I have with this place is that the hose mechanism doesn't give you enough time to wash your car. For close to three dollars (don't remember the exact amount), you get exactly FOUR minutes to rinse, lather up and wash your car. Four minutes isn't enough time to do anything, let alone wash a car. Quarters can always be added to extend the time by a measly thirty seconds, but that's not very cost-effective now is it? read more

NEVER EVER USE YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT CARD WHEN YOU GO THERE. The machines will charge you $12 regardless the time you actually spend even after pressing the STOP/FINISH button. The first time it happened to me I though it was my mistake, but since then every time I go it the same thing. Use cash, or just don't go there! read more

Don't use the credit card feature! This place ripped off my wife, she kept close eye on the charge counter and stopped charging at $4.00 and another time at $3.00, a total of $7, she got charged $12 for both! Not again, lose business people doing this. read more

What's better than washing your car while getting the occasional whiff of delicious Papa Chevos? This is a super convenient, clean, and well managed self-wash car wash. I cannot vouch for the credit card scanner as I had cash on me, but they're definitely there if you find yourself without change. I decided last minute after being out one afternoon that my car was in dire need of a quick and easy wash. I showed up at the station without a towel and looked stupid trying to dry my car with a blanket I used to cover my backseat. The kind attendant saw my pitiful struggles and was wonderful enough to provide me with a complimentary towel. Some hero's don't wear capes, you know? Anyways, this place is great and convenient and I didn't need to drive far to find it. read more

Doesn't return calls. Charged $10 for 2 vacuum. Avoid if you're looking for quality control

The middle bay (literally the third from the left and third from the right) did not wash. My wife and I chose the high pressure wash, but all that came out was cold, non-soapy water. Luckily we only committed $3 to it; the last 45 seconds or so we switched to spot-free rinse but it really struggled to recognize the selection (basically lower flow cold water). I think we'll try Seaside next. read more

I've been to this car wash 2days in a row for separate vehicles. The first day it said my total was$4.50, the next day $5.75. Used debit card both times. Pushed stop button when I was done. Was charged $10 both times. They can't be reached. Won't be back. Too bad, because it's good and convenient! read more

These folks have installed a credit card machine to pay for a car wash. Cool, you may think. Not cool. A $2.50 car wash (usin

I have been coming here for years. The car wash is always cleaned and well maintained. The equipment is always in good working order. The credit card payment is easy and saves you the hassle of putting in quarters. I saw some reviews that say they are overcharged when they use their card. I think it is operator error. People probably drive off without stopping the transaction. I have used it dozens of times and never had a problem. read more

Always clean and well taken care of. Haven't had any of my coins go missing in the machines

Super easy in and out from the car wash on a weekday around noon. My car came out clean and the pricing was affordable. I spent ~$6.00 to wash my car after it had been on a cross-country road trip. read more
