Aware - this carwash did not provide full disclosure: 1. It does not tell you the rate - many self service tells you how many minutes for how much. This one does not. 2. It does not give you a "1 minute" warning like other carwash if you used credit/debit card. You can spend unlimited amount. You have to manually hit the stop button to stop the wash. 3. It does not tell you which outlet is for which cleaning product - there are 3: water is obvious; foam is somewhat ok; there is a blue little one not sure when to use. 4. Do not come here to wash your car if you want them to take out more money out of your debit account than what's posted. It cost 6.00 to wash yet was charged 10.00 yesterday. We looked at our bank statements from the past and just realized they had been charging 10.00 each time. We will be filing a report since they don't answer or return phone calls. First of all the name of this car wash is KING CLEAN carwash of Marina. It is the worst car wash I have ever been to, really. I only vacuumed my vehicle. I put $2.00 in the machine and it would not work, so I put another $2.00 in, thus spending $4.00. It turned on and I started vacuuming. After 3 minutes, the entire nozzle of the hose broke off and the machine turned off. Thus, a waste of $4.00. It was annoying and the time on the machine was only about 3 minutes. I minimally cleaned the 2 front seat area mats. Then I said F it and went across the street to the Shell Station, which also had a car wash and vacuum machines. I put $1.50 in the vacuum machine and cleaned my entire small car, which lasted about 7 minutes. Just sayin...Marina Car wash is neglected and a rip off! Since moving from my last residence, I had several items left in my car that did not fit in storage and I decided to go to this carwash to organize and clean my car from the inside to to for the purpose of it being clean and making more space so that my kids are comfortable in the back seats. I proceeded to open my trunk to get started and took out my blanket, a folded up scooter and a crock pot along with a small 2.5' faux tree. I was about to get into my cleaning mode when a worker ( who might have been the owner,) approached me and told me that I could not throw away any of the items I mentioned into the trash. I politely told him that I was NOT intending on throwing anything away other than the " regular" trash one throws and that I was just organizing. He then, REPEATS himself but this time talking to my 15 year old son and I got upset at him and told him that he's a minor and I'm the mother and he needs to direct his inquiries/ issues with me. He scoffed and I changed my calm tonality to a not so calm time and repeated that I'm just organizing my car. I asked him in a sarcastic tone if I should leave and he said yes. When I asked for his name he refused to give it to me. Once I left, I called the office but there was no answer and I assumed that the voice on the voice mail was his because it was distinct. I was curious because I am going through a rough time and I just wanted to get organized there being that I don't have my own home yet, otherwise, I would have. It seems that the owner is running more of a rest stop for people rather than people seeking to clean their cars. Maybe to make his life easier idk. All I know is that his behavior was unnecessary and rude. I was very disappointed being that it was my favorite car wash because of the location and accessibility. If I had ten thumbs, I'd give it just that for his unprofessionalism and lack of people skills. IDC where it is someone works but if it's to serve the public then learn some common sense. read more

Nice location providing a decent self serve wash. The only issue here is that they seem to be doing some work in a few of the washing bays rather than having them open for customers and cars. **SHORT REVIEW ALERT** The only gripe I have with this place is that the hose mechanism doesn't give you enough time to wash your car. For close to three dollars (don't remember the exact amount), you get exactly FOUR minutes to rinse, lather up and wash your car. Four minutes isn't enough time to do anything, let alone wash a car. Quarters can always be added to extend the time by a measly thirty seconds, but that's not very cost-effective now is it? read more

I cannot vouch for the credit card scanner as I had cash on me, but they're definitely there if you find yourself without change. I decided last minute after being out one afternoon that my car was in dire need of a quick and easy wash. I showed up at the station without a towel and looked stupid trying to dry my car with a blanket I used to cover my backseat. The kind attendant saw my pitiful struggles and was wonderful enough to provide me with a complimentary towel. Some hero's don't wear capes, you know? The middle bay (literally the third from the left and third from the right) did not wash. My wife and I chose the high pressure wash, but all that came out was cold, non-soapy water. Luckily we only committed $3 to it; the last 45 seconds or so we switched to spot-free rinse but it really struggled to recognize the selection (basically lower flow cold water). The credit card payment is easy and saves you the hassle of putting in quarters. I saw some reviews that say they are overcharged when they use their card. I think it is operator error.
