    A box of dozen yummmm

Super nice owners and tasty donuts I just got a warm feeling by how welcoming and nice they were when I visited here for the first time. I got a dozen donuts (only $11) and they gave me a whole bunch of donut holes - I got full off of that. Lol My go to donut shop

    Be forewarned.

Just had the worst experience ever. On my back from the gym I stopped by to get a couple of donuts and tea. I went to sit my stuff down to grab my wallet and they kicked me out. They were yelling" you can sit here" over and over. I tried to explain that I just wanted to sit my stuff down to get my wallet out and they kicked me out:(I just happen to be by the grace of God a retired veteran with a master's degree but apparently I was not good enough to sit in their donut shop. I don't want this review to sound vindictive but as a warning and as a desire to share such a disheartening experience as I felt led. Please use caution before entering. I simply went to yum yum donuts down the street and got an amazing crossaint filled with cheese ham and jalapeños, a donut and tea. It was so good. Comfort for my terrible treatment.Be forewarned

a spoon full of milk and chocolate

I got a milk tea boba and it wasnt good, the boba was sticky and was hard to go into the straw and it was clumped together and just didnt taste good, i think it was like old boba? wouldnt come again + overpriced .

I'm not sure why this place gets such stellar reviews, but it did satisfy a craving for donuts. The staff was patient and expedient. Located very close to USC, this place is small and serves donuts, sandwiches, drinks. Late on a Saturday night they still had a decent selection of baked goods. Donut prices start at 80 cents each. Donut holes are 10 for $1 - they were light, chewy, sweet. Nothing so special, but they did hit the spot. parking - free lot

Look at that sexy intersection . Hnnnnnggg!!!!

HOLY MACARONI. THIS IS BAD. AND BY BAD I MEAN REALLY GOOD. So I have been very very proud of myself for the past year or so. I have been overall donut free, mostly due to scarcity in my local area as well as no where that provides having convenient parking that i can shamelessly go in and out to buy cheap fatty donuts without feeling like a obese pig . In my area there are no real options for donuts, except for the prepackaged gas station imatation hostess stuff , some weird joke called spudnuts.. Really?? Potatos in my donuts?? and in some sad desperation I've consumed the 1.75 year old donuts at the local 7/11. When you have a problem you aren't that picky. But when your don't really have any options I guess it's has been a blessing of sorts. Somehow I stumbled upon this donut shop. And yes . IT IS THE KING OF DONUTS. Let me explain: When I first pulled my car up into this clean open parking lot, my first thought was this donut shop must be an undercover front for something else. An awesome donut shop with parking??? Walking in I wasn't sure what to expect, but a nice gentleman greeting me IMMEDIATELY. I was utterly not even sure what to do since the latter experience I had on western avenue started with an odd dont make eye contact non existant greeting from a pregnant 17 year old with a unibrow who god forbid had to assist me in shucking donuts into a paper box. This however was like the golden treatment. Looking at the pricing I was unsure if they were just a joke or if they were some vestige of a simpler time. The trays were fully stocked full of glistening shiny donuts . They all looked as if they were shouting " PICK ME!! NO EAT ME! I AM THE ONE YOU WANT! NOOO OVER HEERE!!" I was amazed they all looked so colorful and delightful. It was as if I had landed in oz and the munchkins were offering themselves up for a feast! I ordered one bear claw, 12 donut holes ( only $1??) , half a dozen donuts and a bavarian creme donut. for my friends... of course.... It all came out to about $7 . RIDICULOUS CHEEP. I quickly paid and ran into my car in giddiness. I figured they must have made a mistake but then I came to the horrible realization I may have made a mistake. Perhaps these were just decoy donuts. PERHAPS THEY WERE DRY AND SAD. PERHAPS I WAS WRONG ABOUT THEM BEING DELIGHTUL. I nerviously opened up that pink box, and popped a donut hole into my mouth. OH LORD VOLDEMORT IT WAS WARM. I couldnt believe it. It melted in my mouth with gooey warm happiess. Before I knew it, I had consumed all 12 holes and I needed more. As I was driving home, I couldnt keep my hands of that wicked pink box. The next donut I had was a bavarian creme. I took one bite.. and out exploded delivious gooey CREME! IN ONE BITE! most places hide a small squirt of some instant jello with corn starch in some sugary mess. BUT NO.. this was a soft and delicate creme.. filled up with love and covered in chocolate. Despite the honking horns , flashing lights, and faint sound of police sirens I didnt stop. I had to have more. Next I had the glazed cake donut. IT was everything I had been searching for and More. I wanted to cry, scream, call my mom?? I was so unsure. I just knew I was in love again. The outside was perfectly slightly crisp. With an o so delicate glaze . Not too sweet, but just sweet enough . The inside was porous and light. It was a delicious cake inside desguised as a humble donut. Before I even got to 4 stop lights. I had already went through a kalidescope of magical donuts. I felt so alive. This is truly the king of donuts. A good, wise, and tasty king. I bow with shame and awe of its beauty.

Donut go to another donut shop again because if you're searching high and low for your basic sweets or breakfast, this is the spot you need to be. I haven't been here in a while, but I finally made the trip back to this place and remember how much I loved it last time. It was delicious and they sure have upgraded all their sandwiches & sweets. They now serve fresh squeezed juices, breakfast sandwiches, and delicious boba drinks. Their juices are made fresh with real fruits and when I want to indulge, I get their breakfast sandwiches because I can tell you.. the ingredients are fresh and 10x better than McDonald's. I wasn't craving anything on their menu and I really wanted a quesadilla. So the young man who was working there was very willing to accommodate my needs and made me a quesadilla! The chicken quesadilla was filled with yummy chicken breast, cheese, and topped with jalapenos and chili sauce. This is a special order, so you have to ask for it! TIP: Get their Thai Tea. Trust me on this one, it is not overly sweet like other places but not watery also. This place isn't cash only, but they do charge a 35 cents on debit card transactions, which is okay to me!

4 dozen plus apple fritter only 31.00. Very friendly and courteous. Takes credit cards!

tl;dr the Dutch crunch rolls highlight an otherwise standard lineup of hearty deli sandwiches…read more The Los Angeles sandwich scene ranges from terrific tortas to farmer's market-on-a-bun, but few spots have embraced the Bay Area's beloved Dutch crunch roll. These slightly sweet hoagie rolls are coated with rice flour, creating an addictively crunchy, tortoise-shell top. While hard to find, Dutch crunch rolls are the specialty at Ghost Sando Shop. This small sandwich chain (from the mind of NorCal native and former Chipotle exec Benjamin Sales) debuted in the Fairfax District, and it has expanded to Orange County and the Valley. Every sandwich at Ghost Sando sports a Dutch crunch roll, and the lineup has achieved TikTok fame. Briefly, Grand Central Market is a semi-outdoor industrial market turned upscale food court. The sky-high walls are painted white, and the concrete floors are slickly polished. Even during the day, only a few rays of sunshine enter through the skylight roof, leaving each vendor's neon sign to pop. During busy hours, expect foot traffic shoulder-to-shoulder through the narrow aisleways. Here, Ghost Sando has a central stall near the wide stairwell. You can't miss the bright teal paint or custom green neon sign. The walls are tastefully decked with hexagon tile and wooden slats. The sandwich production line is front and center, and staff members buzz around even well after the weekday lunch rush. Stools are pressed up against the long stainless steel bar counter, guaranteeing a seat for customers. My partner and I visited Ghost Sando for a weekday lunch, but our food was prepared relatively quickly. Immediately, I was shocked by the sheer density of the sandwiches. Rolled into compact cylinders, the weight could have fooled me into thinking they were bricks. The "Large" size was plenty for even a hefty appetite, but I can't imagine how anyone could tackle the double-topping "XX Large" portions. I also enjoyed the unique Dutch crunch loaf -- consider holding your sandwich upside-down to fully appreciate the crispy shell. Otherwise, the sandwiches were more standard than spectacular. The cold cuts are more like grocery store variety than premium deli, and the veggies are only a step above Subway. I preferred the mildly spicy Firebird to the warm-ish Pastrami Mami, but neither blew my socks off. The service is mostly disengaged, and the sandwiches run from $15 each. Reasonably, a sandwich can be extended across 2 meals. The sandos are mostly standard, but the Dutch crunch rolls are mildly addictive. While Ghost Sando is not a reason alone to pay GCM a visit, it is a filling and reliable bet for routine DTLA lunch.

During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

Lunch rush came around 1:30pm. The workers were kind and helpful, each working diligently to complete everyone's order timely. Loved to see how they only use focaccia that just come out of the oven, and they cut your sandwich's meat from the meat hunk on an order basis. Very fresh, never greasy. I thought the Dante and Mamma Mia could improve by adding just one more ingredient as a cherry on top, like a sort of nut (walnuts, pine nuts) or something that helps the sandwich spark. Would love to see a bit more arugula too. No public bathroom--closest one is probably Hmart across the street (needs a code). Parking is metered, but there's free neighborhood parking 1-2 blocks away if you're able to find a spot. There's a few seats (5-6) and a standing bar around the perimeter of the store. Also, the drinks are money but you can ask for a water cup for free.

The staff was super friendly while taking our orders and dropping the food off, which is always appreciated. I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. The sandwich was really good and the same can be said for the french fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries given, so thumbs up to that. I forgot what the food costs so I visited the website and for some reason they don't think it's important to put that online, which is pretty darn stupid if you ask me. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience at Sandcouch Cafe and I would visit again in the future thanks to it's convenient location. The food was solid and the staff was friendly, and that's really all I need when ordering a sandwich.
