Accumulated dirt and dust had to be cleaned as well as the dust, paint chips, dirty windows and other debris from the remodeling. Potential buyers would look closely so I had to be sure the big and little stuff looked good. I got references who affirmed that Magdalena and her crew cared about what they did and it showed in their work. I took the chance with Emely Cleaning Service despite having only one reference that called back. I decided against another company who had cleaned the home we just moved into. They did an excellent job but quoted for the house I am selling at three times the Emely quote. The risk paid off. They did a great job. Magdalena showed great pride in her work; her assistants clearly enjoyed working on her crew and also took pride in their work. All were with the company for many years. Their attitude and work ethic is what was behind their performance.

He gave us an in home estimate and we're very happy with the reasonable price he gave us. We are moving into a new home that came with appliances (yay!) but everything is quite dirty because of how the previous owner left it. It definitely needs some tlc! I'm looking forward to having them clean my home and I hope they do a great job which I'm confident they'll do. To be continued... Post cleaning review: I have to say job well done! Unfortunately I cannot comment on the quality of their work because they never showed up…read more.. I called on Saturday and spoke with Jonathan. He seemed great and very understanding. He walked me through the details of what they do and gave me an awesome quote for a 1 bed / 1 bath apartment. He said I wouldn't be disappointed so we scheduled a cleaning for today (Monday, 8:45am). I thought it was a bit strange that he didn't ask for an email or address or anything to send a confirmation like all the other cleaning services I've used. So of course I asked and he said they would call me the next day (Sunday) to confirm. I waited all day Sunday and finally called them around 5:30pm and didn't get an answer. I figured I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and see if they call me this morning and I'll wait to write out a check because this seems sketchy. 8:45am came and went and I didn't hear back from them so I left to work. I was very disappointed because I turned down other, more professional cleaning companies, to go with these guys and now I've lost a day. Will have to book for later in the week with another company. I Would not recommend these guys as a result. Very unprofessional and sketchy. For a company that prides itself on great customer service, as stated in their bio, this was definitely not that.

They claim to do move out deep cleaning, but what I got was shallow cleaning! The crew arrived…read morelate due to traffic which I understand, so they ended up starting at 9:30 AM and one her team members named Jessica, told me they would complete their work after 5 PM, which seemed reasonable, as the unit is almost 1700 sq. ft. and has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms that was completely clear of furnishing and household items. I get a text from Jennifer at 11:47 AM that they will be done by 12:30 PM! When I came to check, all they had was Windex and bleach spray and nothing to take off water stains and they did not clean the outside windows and missed cleaning the kitchen windows entirely both inside (which I think was because they couldn't get up on the large countertop) and outside, did not know how to pull out the fridge racks to clean, didn't touch the washer and dryer at all, missed collected dust on the bathroom windows, left spots on the bathroom tiles and did not get out the water stains on the shower heads and faucet. The unit also had a strange, cheap chemical like smell and I think it was a result of cheap cleaning items they used. When I pointed out that the refrigerator racks needed cleaning and showed how all you need to do was pull up and out the rack, they said sorry and started cleaning the racks with a very dirty rag that was already heavily used! I was not going to stay there and babysit them and point out everything that they should have covered and by that point thought to myself, forget this, we did not pay to babysit so called "handywomen" cleaners! Furthermore, they brought what seemed to be cheap cleaning equipment you'd see at Dollar General. How can a professional cleaning service use only cheap over-the-counter cleaning items and expect to "deep" clean your unit! Also, I appreciate that the cleaning team were Brazilian immigrants as I'm an immigrant from Korea, but they could not speak English at all and it was difficult to communicate, despite their use of Google translate. If at least one team member had a grasp of elementary English it would have been smoother communication. If it were not for the condescending attitude of the owner Jennifer, I would have given this a 2.5 rating, but her attitude exemplifies someone who should get zero starts. Initially she did offer to come down herself, but after seeing what occurred I had no desire to interact with her company again which as a customer I have a right to do. This was especially the case when she outright lied that her team spent 8 hours at my location, when they only spent 4 hours (and about 30 minutes was me driving to the location, so they only probably worked 3.5 hours). In addition, every time I pointed out with pictures what was not done, she gave every excuse as to why it was not done. I ended up working with my partner for four hours to clean up what her crew didn't. Jennifer claimed "a specialized service for stone cleaning is required, as excessive scrubbing may cause damage." We used concentrated vinegar and baking soda and got all the water stains off the shower heads and faucets and used Goo-Be-Gone and got the tiles in the bath and shower areas looking like new. I also used a re-tractable squeegee to clean the outside windows in about 30 minutes. And we are NOT professional cleaners! I was NOT going to pay full price for this supposed move-out deep cleaning, as her crew accomplished what I would consider average house cleaning services, so I offered to pay $224 for 4 hours of service which is about the average per cost of house cleaning services in LA which I looked up online. She refused to compromise with me and threatened legal action against me. At this point I gave up and guess I'll have to take time out of my life to fight her in small claims court for $275 she is not entitled too. Be very careful about this vendor as the pictures she shows about her professional services seem made up as she shows miraculous transformations of her cleaning services such as restoring a horrendous looking tub into new and her handywomen services as a fixer upper, yet her crew could not take out refrigerator drawers to clean them, did a half hearted job cleaning shower tiles and water stains, etc. Potential buyers beware! ***IN RESPONSE TO JENNIFER C's COMMENT*** This vendor claims her crew came at 8:24 AM, but I have on a camera capture that she arrived at 9:06 AM and the other came at almost 9:30 AM, and she's still holding to the idea that they worked 8 hours. This is absolutely absurd, delusional and an outright lie! Furthermore, she claims you cannot get deep cleaning move-out service for less than $45/hour, but they did not provide deep cleaning move-out service, but rather just average house cleaning service which is the rate I paid since that's what they provided.

I highly recommend Scandinavian Cleaning for three reasons:…read more 1. Reliability - They showed up exactly when promised and even sent a reminder the day before, which I appreciated. 2. No surprises - Their pricing is straightforward, with a clear list of services and costs upfront. 3. Quality - We hired them for a move-out cleaning after a tenant vacated one of our rental units and after we completed some construction updates. The unit was empty but covered in construction dust, and we wanted a thorough top-to-bottom cleaning, including inside cabinets, windows, and all the little details. They did an outstanding job and left the place sparkling clean. The quality of their work was excellent, especially considering the fair price. We will definitely use Scandinavian Cleaning again for our business and have already recommended them to friends.

. Scandinavian Cleaning in Palos Verdes is the calm, disciplined "Nordic-level reset" I didn't…read moreknow I needed, and I'm writing this because I'm tired of services that talk big and deliver chaos. I found them on Google after seeing consistently positive customer reviews across different platforms, so I gave them a try, and right away the first thing that hit me was their website, honestly, hats off, whoever built it did a great job. I booked the cleaning directly online in literally two minutes, not "five minutes" like people say, I mean two minutes, done. Then I got confirmations by email and text message, simple, clear, kind of cute, and it immediately felt like a real operation, not some flaky "message me on Tuesday and I'll see" situation. They also have a login on the website where you can track your cleanings, see your history, reschedule, cancel, whatever you need, neat and actually useful. Special thanks to Nadya too, she called me right away after I booked online to welcome me onboard, and you can tell instantly she's the real deal, strict, very professional, straight to the point, super business-oriented, and I respect that a lot. She coordinated everything, and she even came out to meet me as a new client in person and examine the property since I'd never used them before, that level of care is rare. Now the cleaning itself, Palos Verdes is not forgiving, ocean air, dust that shows up fast, glass that reveals every fingerprint the second sunlight hits it, and finishes you don't want scratched by someone rushing. Scandinavian Cleaning showed up on time, professional, respectful, no loud chaos, no wandering around, no "so what do you want today?" vibe, they walked in, did a quick scan, and got straight to work with purpose. The quality is what made me stick, bathrooms weren't just "okay," they were properly reset, mirrors clean, fixtures shining, corners handled, the kitchen looked refreshed for real, not just the visible parts, floors felt genuinely clean after, and the dusting was actually done, not the fake "we waved a towel near it" routine. Best part, they're careful with your home, no careless banging, no scratches, no rushing energy, just clean, controlled execution. I've tried enough services where the first visit is amazing and the second visit feels like a different company, so far Scandinavian Cleaning has been consistent, same standard, same attention to detail, same professionalism. If you're in Palos Verdes and you want a crew that's reliable, careful with nice surfaces, and leaves your house

DO NOT HIRE THEM! Horrible attitude, doesn't respect your…read morehome and no knowledge of cleaning!! I had requested 2 maids to come clean my home last week. First off, I told them to please clean my patio area and they refused! Mentioning that it wasn't in their job description!! Second, they refuse to take of their shoes in my home! Which then I gave them booties to wear. Once they made way into my living room, I told them to help fold laundry as I have already done them and I only needed help with fold. Again, they said it 'not part of their job' with some attitude. At this point, I basically asked them "So what do you guys do?" One maid Mariza responded saying: " We clean surfaces without moving any items" The other maid Rosa demanded we show her the rooms. As she walks into the master bathroom, she started spraying Multi surface bleach cleaner ferociously onto my natural stone bathroom tiles.. ANYONE with common sense (especially professional cleaners) would know that you should NEVER use such harsh chemicals on natural stones. The bleach etched and burned the surface of my natural stone bath tiles!!!! I mean SERIOUSLY?!? & it's not like I can even ask them to compensate for our loses. Also, our toothbrushes were completely covered in the chemical she sprayed. She didn't even CARE at all. I mean, who does that??!? Not to even mention, Rosa gave us so much attitude when we ask her to put on her face covering! & to see her remove the booties we had provided her to wear walking in our master carpet floor! SO DISRESPECTFUL. I had to clean and disinfect my home all over again after they maids left. 30 minutes in, I basically ask them to leave my home as I felt so uncomfortable, so disrespected and so unhygienic! DO NOT EVER USE THEIR SERVICE. I never usually bother writing reviews but this time, I HAD to make sure that if they decide to run a service base, cleaning company, please train your staff with the right knowledge and also please hire someone who knows how to be respectful of others.
