I did not have my phone with me when I ate here but i wish i did. Everything was hot BUT all the food was old and dry. it was like everything was cooked the day before. Plates were not washed properly and there was food residue on them that my son found. DO NOT USE THE BATHROOM. Every surface was covered in rust. Its not just a surface rust either it's worse than an 80's truck that's driven in salty snow all it's life. It's not a simple repaint fix. everything needs replaced in it. Cost of the buffet compared to what you get is about right. Food was warmed properly and kept up okay in the warming trays. Sitting looked a bit beat up, not the best updated dining area. For a fast hot meal at a decent cost it works and would recommend. If in the area working I'd stop out again. read more

The King Buffet in Clinton is amazing! I was in the area and decided to try it. I never hold the expectations that high but man, did they deliver! The service was terrific and the food was so very tasty! For about ten bucks (including a Coke) you won't find a better bargain. Not only was there a large selection of dishes, but for lunch there were seafood items - something you don't always find at that time of day. The temperatures of the items on the buffet were right on. Hot items were quite hot and the cold items were well chilled. Every part of the food area was immaculate. The service was speedy and attentive. Within seconds of hopping up for a second plate (and later a dessert plate), the empties were removed quickly. By the way, there are a LOT of desserts to choose from, including sealed containers of ice cream which kids would like. There were also many fruits and simple items for children or picky eaters. Upon arriving back home I spoke with a buddy and described King Buffet. He grinned and said he'd eaten there before and "That place rocks." If you look plentiful food, fresh items, great service and reasonable prices, I recommend visiting. read more

Horrible customer service! Don't care about their customers. My 2 year old was given an adult cup only to spill it everywhere!! It ruined my bag and my husband and son were soaked.. guess what no help not even a rag. No refills had to get up and get our own and the staff avoided us like the plague. No compassion at all a simple apology or rag would of sufficed. Zero Human decency at this establishment and didn't finish our meal but was sure happy to accept our money! NEVER AGAIN. read more

I travel extensively so I get a pretty good exposure to all kinds of Chinese restaurants and buffets. Pleasant and clean place. The salmon and the sautéed green beans very good. The garlic chicken and broccoli chicken were both awful. Rubber chicken. Had to spit it out. The egg rolls were jot good. I think they were frozen. The house special rolls were dry and pasty. The lunch meatballs were chewy. The California rolls were terrible. And no small cups for sauces. What a mess. read more

This looks like a decent place to eat from the outside although it is at the end of a strip mall. When you walk inside it looks like your typical buffet place. The person who acts as host, water filler etc.... is a teenage boy who loves his phone much more than his job. I ate there often when I moved to town but my roomie and I noticed that the quality of the selections was going downhill. Usually a buffet is someplace I go when I'm in a rush. They are normally quicker than fast food, you get a better selection, and they are priced only a little bit higher. What made us realize that they had changed the offerings for the worse is that many of the dishes that we could eat weren't available any more. The last time we went we decided it wasn't worth going to any more because everything was soy sauce or fake crab which isn't good for someone who is gluten intolerant.
