Checked out Chinese at lunch in Sterling at this restaurant that used to have a buffet. Dynasty is basically a shell of itself. They still have the rest of the menu. A lot of it is the kind of stuff found anywhere. There's not much to make it different than every other strip mall Chinese restaurant. Basically it's another where you order at the counter. It's got a few tables inside. The majority of the customers order takeout. A confusing place when first going in. They still have the buffet table. It's about $9 for the lunch portion. She got the Bean Curd Szechuan Style. An Americanized classic made with soft tofu and a few peppers. I got the General Tso's Tofu. This was mostly just tofu and almost no vegetables. Our stuff came in a bag and plastic container. They're just used to mostly everyone ordering takeout. As for the food it was okay. This was mostly just tofu with a few vegetables like peppers. For sure it's among the best Chinese restaurants around here. It's probably the only one. They're closed Sundays. read more

Dynasty - General Tso's Tofu - Chinese Near Me - Sterling, Illinois

Place is filthy and rundown. Absolutely the worst Chinese food I've ever had, bar none.

We decided Chinese take out today xmas day. We order crab Rangoon, garlic chicken and pork fried rice and it so so good and hot when I got it home. Delicious delicious food. Will definitely be back plus the young lady gave us Christmas cookies. Yummy all around. read more

Everything is always great! The food is hot and fresh! Service w a smile and speedy! Descent prices! And good location.

Disgusting I saw bugs in the food. No one cleans. The table I was told to go to was disgusting and sticky. If you want over priced panda express without customer service go here. read more

Everything, staff is so nice, food is delicious and the restaurant had a wonderful vibe.

the woman at the front was friendly and quick. the food was good and i got a strawberry banana smoothie which was TO DIE FOR! i wish it wasn't cash only but it was worth getting cash out for! read more

Yummy yummy! $8.50 cash and you can have a delicious fresh and hot buffet! Nice variety. You get one shot at filling up so fill up both sides and you get a soda or bottle water! Comparing this place to Asian Buffet, I believe it to be better, cleaner and better quality more consistently with out the nasty msg high concentrated overdose that I get from Asian Buffet. Beef at Dynasty is tender and at the other place it's always tuff. read more

Just dont look around inside and you will absolutely love this place. Super good pricing and portions. Best oriental restaurant around.

We just ordered food from Dynasty and it was the worst food I've ever had from there !We had orange chicken and lomain ,the chicken was doughy and cold and the lomain was mushy and tasteless, won't be going there again ,and that's a shame because I really did like that place! Pam Spencer! read more

Booths were dirty, very dim lights, small variety of food options, some not listed on menus, service was ok but grossed out by lack of gloves in the establishment. read more

Eggrolls were bland and greasy. Fried rice is GROSS! That's not fried rice.. Orange chicken was good. Chow mein was alright..2 stars for ok entrees. I will be sure to get white rice. read more

Absolutely love the general tso chicken and fried rice along with the crab ragoon and smoothies they have to offer, best chinese food in sterling and its right by the market and other attractions (: I'll go there as long as I live in sterling read more

It used to be much better, place changed owners a few years ago and has gone down hill since. Nothing taste good anymore, and portions seem like less. Crab Rangoon used to be the best in the area but not are barely stuffed at all. I was not happy paying for fried wanton wrappers with next to nothing in them. I wish I could say there are better Chinese places to go in the area but there are very few of them around here. read more

Best smoothies you will ever have. Period. I love their General Tso Chicken and their crab Rangoon. I don't care for their egg rolls, but they will let you sub 2 crab Rangoons in place of the egg rolls with their dinners. The General Tso Chicken says its spicy but it is BARELY spicy. I like it that way, but they can adjust the spicyness to suit your taste. read more

Food is okay tasting for sterling. Good portion sizes. Does not take credit card Haven't tried the smoothies but i hear they're good. Okay food with inconvenience to buy read more

We eat here atleast once a week. The prices just increased a bit but it's still so worth it for the amount of food you get. The more you go the better the chances are of the lady that takes the orders will remember your order and start telling you what you want before you tell her. I also prefer eating in while the food is fresh because it tends to get soggy once they put the lids on the containers. All in all it's a great place to eat. read more

Love the food here! Always piping hot, fresh and fast! 5-10 minutes! Voila - take out orders are packaged very well and the food stays HOT! Favorite dishes are egg foo young, Generals chicken, their Lo mein is very good. Their pot stickers are delish too. read more

The orange chicken was bad. The chicken was old and chewy. Called to politely let them know and their attitude was ya ok.

This is a great take-out restaurant for Chinese food. The service is incredibly prompt and the portions are pretty large. The decor is non-existent though, and definitely anything but romantic, so as long as you're in the mood for an in and out sort of establishment, then Dynasty is pretty good. read more

Eat here. -The End But seriously, even though they raised their prices a year ago (& posted a sign saying "We are raising our prices." I thought that was cool.) You still get an insane amount of food, for your money. The General Tso's Chicken, Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoon.... everything is great! More of a quick lunch, or a take-home place, than dining in. Fast service, a lot of food, great prices. Best place in town for Chinese. My fortune said "Help! I am being held prisoner in a cookie factory." I thought that was kind of odd, but this place rocks! *That was a joke. Don't go trying to rescue the fortune cookie kid. read more

Food is piping hot and served quick. Huge portions. Not romantic or anything, but an awesome spot to eat in or take out. Excellent.

The food is good but over priced compared to other Chinese places. The buffet is one pass so load up.

It sucks to have to pay In cash and can't use my credit card when I'm feeling a craving for Chinese I have to make an extra trip to the bank first but overall the food is excellent if you just give it a try. It's definitely not the best chinese food I have ever had but it's definitely worth coming back for read more

Best Smoothies ever! Their Lo Mien and General Tso chicken is fantastic as well. It's probably my favorite place to get Chinese food in town. They don't take cards so make sure you have cash. The buffet bar is a great deal. Prices really are not that bad for how much you get, I believe it's a fair deal. read more

Always very well prepared food. Nothing fancy more of a takeout place. But they always give you ridiculous portions and in a very timely manner. The smoothies are great as well. They take cash only so don't forget to hit up the atm before you come read more

Great food and service, The owner who takes the orders knows automatically what you order, Fantastic memory. if you call by phone she knows who you are by voice. definitely a go back again and again. read more

Love the food here. I always end up ordering more than I planned but leftovers from here are never bad either. I really like it that I can spend $31 and feed the family. Portions are a good size and they never act put out when I ask for hotter sauce or sauce on the side. Some places do. The owners also have great hours. Some nights they are open til 10pm. read more

Usually we get really good and really fast service here. Went there recently and it took my boyfriend going to them 2 times and me one time asking for our strawberry smoothies within a span of an hour. Wasn't really busy at the time either. When I went up the third time the girl didn't even remember them even though we asked twice and asked me to repeat my order read more

Hit or miss lately on the Mongolian Beef - wished it was cooked like the same every time.. Onions barely sautéed

Food is good, been there twice... They really need a website. Sitting here wanting to call in an order, but no clue what they have.

Great food & fast service. Owners very hard working people, not sure how they enjoy anything outside of the restaurant as they always seem to be there and are open most holidays! No spectacular decor (I normally just take out) but reminds me of some of the great little places in Los Angeles I use to go to. read more

I LOVE Dynasty. They made the food for my wedding and my guests raved about it. Their portions are a good size, and they've had consistently fresh and well-cooked food every time I've taken out from there. I agree there isn't much ambience at the restaurant itself, but they do takeout wonderfully. read more

Best Chinese food around ! And that's saying something for a small town. And great smoothies ! Love their food .

Good food but the whole on trip to the buffet thing is stupid people like all you can eat buffet
