Clearly a local spot, but staff was nice and showed us to the outdoor seating area. We asked what was good on the menu and overwhelmingly she stated the chicken done anyway. Boy was she right. Top chicken tenders I've had! Juicy, crispy, large portions too. My husband got the half chicken which was an insane amount of food while another friend got the quarter chicken. Definitely recommend the quarter for one. Fries, tots, curly or waffle, all excellent. The salad was weak but to be understood. Great deals on hard seltzer 5/$15 and a huge Bloody Mary! Dropping stars because while the signs for wearing a mask are up, there was no evidence anyone even had a mask available. No sanitizer albeit the place seemed clean enough. Bathrooms were not ideal though. They did have stalls set up for the slots... I recommend getting takeout or coming back after covid goes away!

The menu is kind of limited beyond the basic stuff. Crowded place when there's a big game. It's the story at basically any sports bar obviously. The other times it's not as bad even on weekends. It helps there's a ton of other bars around here. There's plenty of places a drink can go when in town. It's about $5 to get a well liquor. There's also a list of fancier cocktails if wanting a better one. It's about $9 for appetizers. The one we got was the Pretzel Sticks. Pretty simple item. There's also the usual fried things. The restrooms were convenient and easy to access. The service was outstanding. Our server came right over and took our drink and appetizer order and gave us time to look at the menu. We were there during the dinner hour and there was plenty to choose from. Everything we ordered came in a timely manner, hot, fresh and as we ordered it. We ordered the combo appetizer platter it came with deep fried mushrooms, mozzarella cheese sticks, chicken strips and onion rings. One person ordered the chicken bacon pesto wrap and onion rings, one ordered the chicken strip meal with fries, and the last person ordered bacon cheeseburger meal with tater tots, all the meals came with the soup and salad bar. The soup that night was broccoli cheese and there was a nice variety of salad to choose to choose from. The prices were pretty average for the area.

That's what I was expecting when I ordered their roast beef pesto panini sandwich, with sweet potato fries. It arrived sans grill marks. Whatever. My wife went with their Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. She really liked her Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. I showed her my "panini" and asked here "Does this look like a panini to you?" Nope, it did not. Anyway, so what did the non-Panini Panini taste like? The roast beef wasn't bad, but it also wasn't good. It was like lunchmeat. The pesto flavor was very light. It was served hot, but I had to salt it because it was so bland. The sweet potato fries were tasty. They had an unlimited soup and salad bar. The soup was okay, the salad was shredded iceberg lettuce with lots of other things to drop on it. Service was a bit slow for lunch since the bartender was also the waitress. The mens room must have been cleaned - when I used it, there was no smell and the fixtures were clean. The have at least 3 pool tables and some arcade games in the back. Lots of monitors playing various sporting events.

A portion of its journey from the shipyard to the Rock River was actually made overland. The interior of the main deck is appointed with attractive woodwork, and there is a bar. The upper deck is open air. Ample seating is provided. This was a lunch cruise and our group was seated and served upon our 11 AM boarding. The quality of the food (catered by Maxson) and service exceeded our expectations. We began with rolls and a generous tossed salad with Italian dressing. Our entrée choices were beef bordelaise, fried catfish, and a vegetarian plate. The fork-tender beef was cloaked in a red wine sauce and the fish, though heavy on the crust, tasted fresh and was greaseless. Our sides were fresh steamed veggies and a twice-baked potato. Chocolate cake was served for dessert. There were pitchers of lemonade and water on the table, and coffee and tea were offered. Our leisurely cruise upriver lasted two hours and ended at 1:30. Travel is limited to a 7-mile-long navigable stretch of the Rock River. Narration was provided at various points of interest. We spotted at least two bald eagles onshore. Just delightful!
