Clearly a local spot, but staff was nice and showed us to the outdoor seating area. We asked what was good on the menu and overwhelmingly she stated the chicken done anyway. Boy was she right. Top chicken tenders I've had! Juicy, crispy, large portions too. My husband got the half chicken which was an insane amount of food while another friend got the quarter chicken. Definitely recommend the quarter for one. Fries, tots, curly or waffle, all excellent. The salad was weak but to be understood. Great deals on hard seltzer 5/$15 and a huge Bloody Mary! Dropping stars because while the signs for wearing a mask are up, there was no evidence anyone even had a mask available. No sanitizer albeit the place seemed clean enough. Bathrooms were not ideal though. They did have stalls set up for the slots... I recommend getting takeout or coming back after covid goes away!

It helps there's a ton of other bars around here. There's plenty of places a drink can go when in town. It's about $5 to get a well liquor. There's also a list of fancier cocktails if wanting a better one. It's about $9 for appetizers. The one we got was the Pretzel Sticks. Pretty simple item. There's also the usual fried things. Has good things about it. It's one of the many bars in town. The kitchen closes a couple hours earlier than the bar so get here early enough to place your orders for a game or for whenever.

The restrooms were convenient and easy to access. The service was outstanding. Our server came right over and took our drink and appetizer order and gave us time to look at the menu. We were there during the dinner hour and there was plenty to choose from. Everything we ordered came in a timely manner, hot, fresh and as we ordered it. We ordered the combo appetizer platter it came with deep fried mushrooms, mozzarella cheese sticks, chicken strips and onion rings. One person ordered the chicken bacon pesto wrap and onion rings, one ordered the chicken strip meal with fries, and the last person ordered bacon cheeseburger meal with tater tots, all the meals came with the soup and salad bar. The soup that night was broccoli cheese and there was a nice variety of salad to choose to choose from. The prices were pretty average for the area.

When is a Panini not a panini? Well, when it isn't a Panini…read more The name "panini" is given to a grilled sandwich made from any type of bread. That's what I was expecting when I ordered their roast beef pesto panini sandwich, with sweet potato fries. It arrived sans grill marks. Whatever. My wife went with their Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. She really liked her Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. I showed her my "panini" and asked here "Does this look like a panini to you?" Nope, it did not. Anyway, so what did the non-Panini Panini taste like? The roast beef wasn't bad, but it also wasn't good. It was like lunchmeat. The pesto flavor was very light. It was served hot, but I had to salt it because it was so bland. The sweet potato fries were tasty. They had an unlimited soup and salad bar. The soup was okay, the salad was shredded iceberg lettuce with lots of other things to drop on it. Service was a bit slow for lunch since the bartender was also the waitress. The mens room must have been cleaned - when I used it, there was no smell and the fixtures were clean. The have at least 3 pool tables and some arcade games in the back. Lots of monitors playing various sporting events.

Checked out this restaurant in Rochelle at the local airport. Flight Deck has a pretty casual but…read moresophisticated thing going on. It has fun cocktails and food along with some vegetarian friendly things. A lot about aviation to look at if wanting to read about it. The prices are okay in lighter items if looking to save calories and money. Best reason to go to the airport in town because there's not much else. It's located inside the entrance to the terminal or whatever building it is. The building is actually pretty small making it easy to find the bar and restaurant. Get cheap cocktails. It's $6 to get the Tito's Punch. Entrees are kind of pricy to be honest. It's about $9 for the Garden Salad. Has the basic toppings in it. Spend a few bucks more to put on the vegetarian chicken strips. Among the rest of the menu it's pretty meaty. There's chicken sandwiches and wraps among other things. For sure it's great if you like aviation. It's closed Mondays and only open for breakfast and lunch Sundays. They're open longer the rest of the week.

I was skeptical because it's in the Rochelle Airport. I'm glad we decided to try it out. We went on a Wednesday night, and it wasn't very busy. There was a large group there, but plenty of tables available. The tables/booths do need so updating as they are starting to show the signs of age. Open ceiling, standard bar décor, patio area, view of the runway... This is a standard bar and grill. Nothing fancy. As for the food. I ordered the mozzarella sticks and the Black N Blue Brisket Burger. The cheese sticks were of decent size, had an okay flavor. I feel they were a little over cooked, but they were still good. The burger was above average. Definitely better than anything you get at a fast food restaurant and the fries were also above average. Over all the food isn't anything wowing, but it's good and I did enjoy my meal. Now here's the selling points: !) for all of my Gluten Free peeps out there. They can replace the bread on any sandwich with a gluten free wrap for a $3 upcharge. 2) Everyone one of their signature drinks can be made alcohol free, thus turning them into Mocktails. I ordered a blackberry hibiscus mule mocktail and my friend got the same with alcohol. We both thought they were delicious. Our service was good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We had no issues. I think this might be a regular stop for the both of us.

There was a bartender and a waitress working, along with two customers at the bar who were there together. Besides those people, our group were the only customers there. It was a very uncomfortable, awkward situation. With that being said, we all got up and left and went down the street to the Rockton Inn, where we were seated and taken care of right away. I had high expectations from the Rootbeer Float one, but didn't expect it to be one of those dark, tobacco tasting beers (didn't finish). For my meal, I got a burger with all the works and chips.
