They treat my dog amazingly well! Hard to find a vet that isn't put off by a 120 lb rottie, super nice and helpful.

Ho was extremely empathetic when I brought my dog in who passed the night before he was going to have to be put down.

I brought my pets to Dr Katz in 2017 and it's taken me years to construct a calm review, based on facts. Read the negative reviews about Natural Pet in Bourbonnais - in my experience, they're accurate. This practice used to be owned by Dr Karen Becker who had a thriving holistic practice in Bourbonnais. Dr Becker sold it to Dr Katz... This was my experience: *Dr Katz set a timer so we were talking over one another trying to beat the clock like a bad game show. *I was charged 50 for 15 minutes was way too expensive - even for a holistic vet. *She misdiagnosed ringworm twice, resulting on it spreading to myself and my children. *The examination rooms and scales were not clean, or not cleaned between animals. She examined my kittens on the floor, (there weren't tables in the room), where there was other pet hair. Pet hair on the small scale too. *She refused to answer my calls and provide guidance after ringworm had spread to my other kitten - even though I had paid her for two other vet visits where she failed to diagnose it. *When my kitten was vomiting later that night after being seen by Dr Katz, she would only respond via text - would not answer the phone even though I was willing to pay for after hours guidance. *I saw Dr Katz yell at her employees. *Her employee spoke poorly about Dr Katz behind her back. *The operating room looked like a dark, janitor's closet. *The place only has hours three days a week...what do you do if your pet needs to be seen the other half of the week? *Refused to honor or acknowledge a $20 off new patient coupon after I realized it hadn't been applied at my first visit. (I called later about it.) Bottom line, in my opinion, there are professional, compassionate, and reasonably priced, holistic veterinarians in the area - skip this one. (It took me a long time to construct this review as I didn't want it to be based on emotions - and there were many negative emotions I needed to sort out. I would be surprised if there wasn't a response attempting to attack my character, however, I have proof my review is accurate and factual and can post pictures if deemed necessary.)

I will just say it up front, I love everything about Integrative Pet Care. My (now 12 yo)…read morecorgi-golden has pretty rough arthritis and had been slowing down. Never very active to begin with, we struggled with her weight more and more, her walks got shorter, she stopped doing things like jumping on the bed or couch, and just getting up seemed more painful, even tho she's on rimadyl and dasuquin. Other neighbors told me about IPC, so off we went. Here's our summary... - love the people...they care about our dog, many are actively involved in rescue, and they're just genuinely good, caring people - they were flexible on the program...we changed and adapted a bit based on how Godiva was doing - we found the right mix of everything, and tho Godiva would plateau some weeks, she dropped weight in others, down a total of 12 lbs so far - Godiva does underwater treadmill, therapeutic exercise, laser and massage - I get a crazy number of compliments on how good Godiva looks, not just that she has a waist, but her energy is up, eyes are bright again. Her dog walker hears the same on his walks w her. We're all just so proud of her progress - she walks further and longer than she has in years. She used to sit on the sidewalk and watch the world go by, now she goes out and scopes it all out on her walks - she started getting back up on the couch and bed again - while Godiva (like her mom) will never say exercise is her favorite thing, she's a trouper with her workouts, and seems to genuinely enjoy going, hanging out w the people and dogs she's gotten to know. The mental stimulation for this senior dog has had a positive impact that I didn't anticipate when we first started going I love seeing the other dog owners so deeply attached to their puppers, whether they're seniors, or just in for an injury recovery/rehab. It's like a little sub community of dogs and people. Can't say enough about IPC, they've given us the gift of (what I believe to be) more time with our girl, and definitely improved quality of life. Thank you Dr Ridley and Renee!

He was diagnosed with Stage IV cervical IVDD and had surgery in late September. He had a super complicated post op course including neck spasms, chronic UTIs, widespread muscle wasting, and chronic constipation. He was literally wasting away in front of us. He still couldn't walk at Thanksgiving. Within two months at IPC, my dog was walking around the house, gaining weight and the bathroom issues cleared up. Five months with IPC and he's back to his pre-op weight and walking around the neighborhood like nothing ever happened. Dr. Martin and the team at IPC did an amazing job and really have gone above and beyond in saving my little buddy. The staff there are great, I wish I could name them all here. I can't thank them all enough and highly recommend IPC.

From the moment you walk in, to the Vet Techs, to each Veterinary doctor, my experience has been 5 stars. With two sick pups, I have seen almost every doctor and all are all absolutely fantastic. Note: With Private Equity firms consolidating the veterinary industry (up to 50% of US clinics) to increase cash flow and resale, I highly recommend this private practice who care about our fur babies and are not caught up in selling their business to investors.

Has it crossed the line? But it's NOT cool when the vet's office sees you as a profit center. Barraged with links to dubious products and services, in official correspondence, all with a revenue tie-in as the priority. Not the animal. Yeah, that's my beef. AMC was, sure, just as expensive, but the priority was on the cat! They spelled it out from beginning to end and achieved the best results I was hoping for. Everyone I talked to was fully informed with my cat's reason for being there. Great communication. It was a respectful doctor-patient relationship. The building is a little funky. This being Chicago, I'd love to see the Zoning application. :-)) Very cool.

I fostered my dog starting Sept 2015…read moreand when I started Odette's program in April 2016, my pup had had constant diarrhea for who knows how long. I went to his regular vet multiple times, was prescribed expensive prescription dog food, lots of medications, etc, but nothing helped. On top of that, he was gaining weight. He was 35lbs when I first brought him home ballooned up to 50lbs (too much for a dog his size). He was also extremely anxious, stressed, and very fear aggressive. The first thing Odette did was do blood work and saliva tests. Lo and behold, my dog was allergic to chicken! The main ingredient in his prescription food. Under Dr. Suter's care, I learned all about animal health and nutrition. My dog's anxiety and stress is getting much better as well. She also did some chiropractic work on him (he skips on his back legs) and he's now doing so much better than I could have ever thought. Odette does AMAZING work and her goal isn't just to fix your animal's symptoms. She works to fix their overall health as well. She teaches you on animal health, with up to date statistics and information, and strives to help you become an educated pet parent. I'm so thankful to have found her! Absolutely love Odette and highly recommend her to everyone.
