I had them and was very satisfied. Drinks were great, and we appreciated the non-alcoholic mocktail options for part of our group. The fries were a bit salty and the steak was slightly overcooked, but that wasn't my plate. Overall, still a great experience. The ambience was great and made for a comfortable, enjoyable meal.

We ate here on a recent trip from Eugene and we're excited to see a cajun style restaurant in Bend…read more The restaurant is nice inside and has a low key upscale feel. The menu isn't very large and I think we both settled on choices quickly, deciding to try the most "quintessential" entrees to share. I chose the Blackened Redfish, and my boyfriend the Jambalaya. Even though we had already decided, the waitress went on her whole spiel through the menu highlights, including what we had already had planned to order. Awkward, but it was fine, and we didn't stray from our original choices. The Blackened Redfish was perfectly cooked and flaky. It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes with a slightly tangy sauce. All of it was tasty, but I was a bit disappointed in the lack of spice to the blackening seasoning and the sauce. Also, serving it on grits instead of mashed potatoes would have made it feel 100% more Cajun, even with lack of seasoning. The Jambalaya fared a bit better, although my boyfriend was also left puzzled by the lack of spice to this classic dish. In all ways it was a very good representation of New Orleans style red jambalaya, with the andouille sausage being particularly notable for flavor. The cornbread it came with was pretty good. We shared a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. A very decadent concoction of chocolate, peanut butter, and caramel. It was one of the better $12 slices of cake I've had. Overall? The service was good, if not a bit awkward with the menu spiel. The food was all very well prepared, but for a Cajun style restaurant they sure could stand to spice things up a bit. It's not cheap, but at least the entrees are a full sized meal and you don't have to order many "tiny plates" to cobble together a dinner.

How was there only one vegan review for this amazing cheesecake?…read more I have to admit, I was a little skeptical when my husband read me that lone vegan review, but we walked out the hotel door anyway. Then I was skeptical again when I saw that all the vegan options were also gluten free. That's me throwing shade at gluten free folks. Kidding. I probably should be GF too. Anyway, YES. Fantastic cheesecake. Please give it a try. The peanut butter cup did not disappoint. We also had a drink next door, so no rush back to feast on the cheesecake. (I would post a picture, but the only one I took was for my vegan friends and taken from the bathtub. I also highly recommend eating it in a very hot bathtub, since it comes nearly frozen!)

They have quite a list of flavors and I wanted to try a few but they are $10/slice and I don't think 2 slices for $20 is worth it. That being said, the cheesecake is very yummy. I had the raspberry marble and very much enjoyed it. She recommended leaving it out to warm up for about 15 minutes to get the most flavor. I am impatient so I waited about 10 and it was a bit firm but definitely full of flavor! Personally this feels like an every once in a while treat because of the price. Definitely worth trying at least once!

I had the Country Fried Steak and I'm happy to say it was just like being home on the weekends when my mom used to make it! Just delicious and huge! Definitely worth a try. I have a limited palate so not a lot appealed to me, so I got the patty melt and as an appetizer we got the bruschetta. Hubby got the grilled chicken sammy with tater tots. The Bruschetta came out quickly and it wasn't good, very soggy and too few tomatoes. My patty melt was pretty good, and the cole slaw excellent. The chicken sandwich looked small but he said it was just enough. The tater tots were probably the Ore Ida ones from the store. The real treat was the dessert. Key Lime Pie? no way! I'm in- and it was yummy. The better half had poppyseed cake, and it was huge- he liked it very much. What made up for some of the menu misters was our server, she was very attentive and even took the bruschetta off the bill and explained to me why sometimes they don't make it super crispy. I'd return to try the brunch. Looks like they have some very irregular hours but perhaps that is to accommodate the older demo in the area which is totally respectable. Good Job, see you guys soon!

Yay! It was the best veggie burger my husband has had in a long time... he added avocado and vegan cheese (which did make it a bit pricey). Awesome that you can do many different sides including regular fries, Cajun fries, salad, chips, and more options... do wish they had onion rings however. I got the hummus plate which was good but not the best I've had. It came with a baguette which was more like garlic bread so I would have, personally, liked pita more. It also had a few olives on the side with a red pepper type sauce. I got it with no pickled onions. They had a great beer selection and even a few tasty non-alcoholic beers. Also had kombucha on tap which was delicious (from Humm). Everyone working was super sweet and the vibes were relaxed and casual. Our food came out quick and exactly how we ordered it. They also seemed to have spaces for larger parties, too. They also have a little gift shop if you wanted to pick anything from shirts, to bottle openers, to beer candles and more! Would come back again!
