Ashley is exactly the kind of person you want your child's mind to be around. She gets it! I am so…read moreexcited that she is a resource available to us as my family is now living in Bend after a move from Portland! Her kids camp agenda is full of incredible and thoughtful planning and I truly believe she is going to change the world by cultivating a love of learning and self in minds of our future. From meditation and mindfulness tips and tricks, tutoring sessions from a teacher herself, and starting a love affair with food and nutrition... I kind of wish that I was a kid again so I could take part in this stuff. ;)

Ashley's cooking classes for kids are absolutely wonderful- not only do the kids learn delicious,…read morehealthy recipes, they learn so much about making healthy food choices and how to recognize strong vs weak foods in their everyday lives. I took my best friend's 8-year-old to class all summer and he loved learning kitchen techniques and sharing his creations and knowledge with us when he got home. Ashley is a wonderful, inspiring teacher dedicated to equipping kids with practical skills for making good choices- we need more people like her in this world! I would highly recommend these classes to anyone whose child is interested in food and cooking. You can be assured everything they make is healthy, easy to do at home and the classes are also accommodating to kids with allergies to gluten/dairy etc which is a huge plus.

My group of 4 friends came and stayed here for the eclipse... and I have to agree with the previous…read morereview by "Heidi K" (which I wish was not the case as the Farm owners seemed to be some very nice people). But, yes... it was very disorganized and did not deliver on the promises they made. My expectations were pretty low, but still. I went with the "Glamping" option (which was NOT cheap!)... and this turned out to be a tent with two air-beds and some linens (nothing like what the picture on the website represented). In addition to what has already been said, the bathroom facilities were repulsive (hot and quite malodorous). I suppose this happens when you have people who are farmers - not function organizers - who see a chance to make some money and jumped on it... thinking they could just do it themselves. Then several hundred people show up and they were clearly overwhelmed and under-prepared. Too bad. They should at least offer a partial refund (but that is not going to happen).

Eclipse Event at Organic Earthly Delights. The eclipse was spectacular and the people were friendly…read moreBUT the owners failed to deliver on almost every promise made in advertising or during conversations about this upscale farm experience. *Long lines of frustrated guests waited at least an hour in the hot sun for meager portions and sub-par cooking of inexpensive ingredients, instead of the promised gourmet delights. *Guests waited in similarly long lines to get just a cup of coffee. *Guests were verbally promised free, premium local beer and wine with meals, but were instead asked to pay premium restaurant prices for California labels. *Our fully furnished 'luxury yurt' was In reality a tent with one lightweight sleeping bag for two. There are many more anecdotes that we and other dissatisfied guests could share but, suffice it to say that we do not recommend attending any functions at this location. Thank you to all the other guests who, despite the circumstances, help make this a memorable event.
