I always enjoy going here. I stop by most Saturdays in the fall and winter. It's just a great…read morecomfort food breakfast. I typically get the biscuits and gravy special (see photo) and it's pretty good. The food always comes out quickly and the wait staff does a pretty good job. Everything I've tried has been very tasty. It's great for the price and what you'd expect from a place like this. It's not a 5 star gourmet restaurant and you shouldn't expect that, but, for a down-home diner they do it really well. I'm not going to knock off any stars, because this place does a great job in general, but in case any of the management reads this I have feedback. 1. The slowest part of the whole operation is being seated and cashing out. Both of these occur with the host/hostess. It's a single person, and having them seat people, and most times the host will bring them their drinks, ensures that everyone else continues to wait. It's a bottleneck. Even when tables are free. Occasionally I've seen the host standing a few feet back into the kitchen area wrapping silverware or whatever and unable to see someone waiting for them. I get that you want to keep someone you are paying busy at all times, but that also causes more wait while they finish their secondary task and return to the cashier station. The customer should come first. 2. They seem to do this odd thing where the wait staff doesn't have a dedicated section of tables. Instead, each person that comes in is given a colored poker chip that is placed on their table and they just rotate through the colors (which indicate a waitress). I guess this makes it so every wait staff gets an equal number of customers, but you also get this weird situation where the table sitting in front of you, and the table behind you, could all have a different waitress. Three people stopping by the same area at different times. Seems super inefficient. I can generally get someone else's waitress to bring me a refill or whatever, but it makes it harder to flag down yours, when they are crisscrossing the place. I mean, it's their place and their system works for them. It is what it is. Just have some patience and expect a bit of a wait to be seated and again to cash out. It's not somewhere to visit if you are in a rush. It's more of a lesuirely weekend morning type of place. Worth stopping by!

All of us had eggs in one form or another each one of us had our eggs cooked the way that we wanted, which is really important. The home fries were great. Nobody had heartburn going home which can happen a lot of times when you eat fast and the food isn't so good. This food was great. Can't wait to return to have another breakfast

I was helped by her right away, and listened to her recommendations for food. I'm happy I did! In between her busy tasks, we were able to have a (at least for me anyways) a pleasant conversation. She checked with me to see how the food was, and consistently made sure I was enjoying my time. 12/10 I would like to add, there was other staff that would ask to see how I was doing. Super thoughtful, professional, and relaxed. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Most of the atmosphere though comes from the staff. My wrap was delicious. I enjoyed the flavor of the brisket mixed with the veggies and pineapple. It was refreshing. I will be coming back. Over all, 10.25/10.

We were flying to Brainerd, MN on a small plane and had to divert to St. Cloud thanks to wildfire…read moresmoke (!!) so were stuck here for a bit until we caught a ride the rest of the way. The St. Cloud airport is very nice but small, with no food options on the general aviation side so we borrowed the courtesy car and navigated to Jules for lunch - I'm so glad we did! This place is very cute, service was great, and food was delicious - I had a turkey and cheddar panini on marble rye (yum), my son had a buffalo chicken wrap, my husband had a tuna melt and we all loved our choices. I also got a latte and big sugar cookie to go (morale needed a boost!) and both were excellent. Would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to return if our travels take us through here again!

We were in St. Cloud for a family wedding. The bride and groom booked a block of rooms at this…read morehotel... And then stayed at the Marriott themselves, with their immediate family... If this was a review of just the staff, it would be five stars. Everyone from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the waitstaff in the restaurant were exceptionally friendly and did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome. We got a suite, which was about the size of an efficiency apartment. Microwave, large fridge and sink in the kitchenette. The bathroom was on the smaller side, and there was no bathtub only a shower stall! That was really too bad, because we had our boys with us and I was hoping to give them a bath before the wedding. There is another vanity with a sink in the bedroom though, which was nice for doing hair and make-up while The Man was taking a shower. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were clean, and they give you tons of pillows. The suite also has a pullout couch, which we did not use, and reclining armchair which we did. There was enough room for our double stroller, our Pack'n'Play, 2 suitcases, diaper bag, and all our other paraphernalia. The room was adequate, if a little dated. The surfaces were clean- but like another review said- it seemed as if the whole room hadn't been deep cleaned in a while. They allow smoking and pets in certain rooms, but you can faintly smell those odors in all of the rooms. And chlorine. So much chlorine smell! Lots of vending machines with lots of choices and a restaurant on site. Also a Walmart and tons of other stores and restaurants within walking distance. Four different pools and a hot tub. Volleyball court, basketball courts, an arcade and a few table games for families/kiddos. Our room was on the wall that faced the volleyball and basketball courts and it was really loud! Fortunately, the bedroom of the suite had another door that we could close and that really helped muffle the sound. So all in all I gave it three stars. The staff was great, and there were lots of things for families to do there, but for almost $200 a night for our suite, I would have liked a little more quiet, a spotless room, and a bathtub.

I called the hotel and talked to a manager and she refunded my 7 extra nights but was not able to explain why the extra charges occurred. I didn't think much of it and was just happy my card got refunded. 2 weeks later I had $844 charged to my credit card and called again to inquire about it. The front desk person couldn't look into it but said the manager Gina would look into it for me and return my call. She never returned my calls. I called back 2 days later and the same front desk person answered and remembered me and said Gina would be in at 3pm and also gave me her email address. I asked the front desk person to have Gina call me back when she came to work for the day. I also composed an email to her detailing my issues with my confirmation number and asking her for a call back. My email and calls were never returned. I called back 2 days later and a different guy said he could look into it and said he saw a lot of strange charges but didn't understand them. He said he would get with his manager and call me back later that night. He never called back. I called back again and he said it would have to wait for Gina to call me back. I asked for a copy of the charges to emailed to me and he said he would. He never did. I called today to talk to the GM Brad, the front desk person said he was in but not in his office and offered to send me to his voicemail. I was then transferred to his voicemail and it was full and not able to accept new voicemails. I tried calling the front desk back, but the phone rang for 2 minutes and then hung up on me, I tried again and the same thing happened. I waited 10 minutes and tried calling again, but it still rang for 2 minutes and then hung up on me. At this time the issue is still unresolved.

This is my opinion on the day we went in and do with it as you want…read more When we first arrived, they were busy. There was a Sunday brunch going on. No problem, we ended up waiting, maybe 15 minutes to get a table. There were 4 of us. That wasn't an issue and the staff was great. We got seated at our table and our waiter, I believe his name was Benjamin, was awesome. Great guy, didn't pressure us to order right away. Gave us time to look and would check in on us. All around great service. He was a 5 star! Even the atmosphere, with it being busy, was what you would expect. A lot of people talking and having a good time, no problems, no issues. We were kind of set back in the corner, which I'm thankful for, because we didn't have the noise from the Brunch area. The reason for the 3 stars is because of the food. With 4 people being served, you would think they would get the fries right? They were over seasoned on everyone's plate, horribly over seasoned. You might as well have been dipping them straight into the container of whatever seasoning was on them. Of the 4 orders of French fries, we left 2 orders on the table. I ordered the Gastro Pub Bison Burger, medium. Benjamin even started it was going to have some pink in the middle, and I said yes. The ticket even stated it. I don't know why they even put it on the ticket if they're going to cook it done. The burger ended up being over cooked and dry. It was a Bison burger, so there's plenty of moisture in those burgers when cooked to medium. This thing comes out as a little nothing sized burger. I wasn't impressed with it at all. My wife's order, Spinach and Artichoke Chicken Sandwich, came out good and she ate it all and really enjoyed it. One daughter had ordered a Buffalo Chicken Wrap. She's had them before at other places and was excited to try their's. Came out ok except for the, what she stated as being too spicy. And again, the fries were over seasoned. My other daughter order a Spicy Dill Flatbread, which turned out really good. She was the only one of us who did like the over seasoned fries. Now when it comes to food, I never send anything back and i don't say anything because we might not be done with ordering. I have the biggest fear about retaliation. You hear the stories from someone you know, of possibly something being a little sketchy when food is reordered or it comes back out, so I just don't do it. I have been here before and it is pretty much the same as I remember it. The staff being great, but the food just being not worth it. The funny thing is it's the Chef's name is on the door when you come in the building. If I was him, I'd be a little embarrassed that his cooking staff can't do a medium burger and do some retraining. At least watch what the cooking staff is doing while preparing food that his name is associated with. I don't need to go back there and eat.
