The family that runs this place makes you feel at home. I needed my morning coffee on my road trip from North Dakota to Indiana and insisted on supporting local businesses along the way. I try to avoid Starbucks and gas station coffee. Not only did I find an amazing coffee shop, I made some new friends. I'll make it a point to stop by here when passing through.

Went here on recent vacation. It's walking distance from "the hotel" but we ended up driving there…read more This place is pretty new however it's well advertised both from the highway and also at "the hotel". Didn't seem to be many servers but we were seen right away. The entrance area (where we waited for our food) looked like a collection of knick knacks but standing there for a while, I realized it's a very unassuming small store (shirts, mugs, etc). Might be awkward standing room if there was a lot of waiting but we didn't hit it. Despite it being lunchtime (slightly late), they had breakfast options available. Thus, I got a parfet (#5) as well as a meet you at the mill (basically meat flatbread "pizza"). SO got a wobegon salad and a nitro cold brew. The menu warns the flatbread is for 1-2. I could have finished it but decided to split it into 2 meals. My SO did the same thing with their salad (supplimented by chips from another locale - neither of the above come with any sides). All the food was good. They have carry out and dine in options and even flatware for both. SO noticed they were (may not be anymore) voting for a new thing on their site, so they're still in the development phase somewhat. I also noticed one of the flatbreads on their menu was not on the hotel menu, furthering that belief. Small dings: * There's an unstated (as far as I saw) credit card surcharge of 3%. A few businesses do this because they are charged fees to use credit cards and pass that along to the customers rather than soaking it. This is their right tho I've always found a little shady when not stated, like the food costs an additional 3% more. * Respectfully, their pictures of the establishment here (on Yelp) IMO make it seem bigger than it is. Again that is their right to stage but just wanted to share that. It was not busy at all when we went. Neither of those things detract from stars IMO. I was also surprised there was a drive through. No reason not to but I didn't see any mention of that and even driving by it didn't see it. There also appeared to be outside seating tho no-one was using it. Some of the parking spots seem sort of awkward but the traffic was so light we didn't have any issue. Your milage may vary. There was a signed entrance and exit to the parking however the way we left you basically have to drive by the entrance to exit, so, confused out of towners may cause some chaos ;) All in all, I'd go back but I may pay cash and/or tip less because of the credit card charge.

The hidden gem of St. Cloud!…read more I was traveling through the area for brunch while traveling from the foodie haven of the West Coast and stopped here with my family. I was a little unsure given the lack of photos and reviews but as soon as you walk through the front door, you know you came to the right place. The staff & owner are all so friendly - both with great recommendations and timely service. The food was executed flawlessly - GET THE EGGS BENNY (crispy polenta & bacon). EVERYTHING, and they do mean everything is made in-house as they seek to share a 'farm to table' experience. They take special pride in the dry-aged bacon which I can confirm is top tier. The special touch was their attentiveness with always ensuring your coffee cup stays warm and truly bottomless. The cafe is very thankfully cozy and welcoming - a welcomed relief from the usual trendy cafe experience of backless, metal stools. We don't get to see family often and while we talked, there was never a push to leave faster and they even went so far as to provide more coffee and water --it's the simple things. We wish we could pack the business up and take it back with us but we hope you choose to dine here and are treated to the same experience that we had. I'm confident you'll be back for more!

The problem doing this , is I wasn't able to get their best dish because it wasn't ready. The service was fabulous and because of it it gets 4 stars instead of three - the dining room is beautiful and elegant . The choice of dish ware was poor ( thimble for a coffee cup - ) silverware was cheap as well . The food wasn't all that impressive either trad eggs benny was tiny and it was shaved ham vs Canadian bacon ( preference thing) the breakfast salad was a nice touch but it was just arugula with some O and V - meh cute spot worth a look but not all the way there yet
