The best Thai food in East Vancouver. The food, service, and atmosphere are all good. It is a must try!

Very good food and service. After a little mix up that we didn't even know happen, they more than went above and beyond. Treated us exceptionally well service wise. The food was very good. We had the Pa Ram, Kindee bbq chicken, pot stickers, crispy rolls and salad rolls. All very good. We would recommend jasmine rice instead of sticky, unless you like really really like sticky. Very busy when we were there but they were very attentive. Not like some restaurants where only one wait person attends your table, they were all working every table. We were very satisfied with the food and exceptional service. We will be back. read more

Great tasting Thai food! I have been here many times for lunch and dinner. My favorite dessert is the black sticky rice and mango ice cream.

The food is ok. The taste is passable, and seems kind of fresh. I feel like they food is very soft (over cooked or not fresh?) Overall this seems like the kind of prepackaged food I could buy and make at home. The staff are very courteous and attentive, and the price is reasonable. read more

Unfortunately we found chewed up gum in our food, this ruined our entire meal and I can't imagine that I could eat here again.

Whenever we go to a new Thai place my boyfriend always gets chicken pad thai, and this was no different. I usually get curry, I decided on their red curry, which is a mite spicy. The red curry has a lot of bamboo shoots, and I feel like they skimped on the meat a tad, but it wasn't worth losing a star over. Both dishes were so tasty, well seasoned, and their salad rolls seemed fresh, with well done peanut sauce to boot. The atmosphere is small, cute, and the dishes run about $9-$11 a piece. I know that both of our dishes were $9. The waitstaff aren't overly friendly, or under friendly, they are very quick, polite, and efficient (I don't know what else you could really ask for). My wife and I have eaten at quite a few Thai restaurants in our time and this has to be the best in and around the Vancouver, WA area. We have eaten here a few times and the food is consistently delicious. The price is right too! The servers are courteous and contrary to what others have said, they know their dishes. Went here for the first time today. The egg rolls were delicious and crunchy, I really enjoyed the plumb sauce. All our food tasted great and the veggies were cooked perfectly, still had some crunch to them. Nice atmosphere. all plates are min $10 so it would be nice if they had lunch specials. Wonderful service, great atmosphere and delicious, fresh food. We had chicken pad thai, chicken pa nang, and the Kindee BBQ chicken which came out sizzling hot. The sweet and sour sauce that paired with it was light and tangy. Both the sticky and jasmine rice were cooked to perfection. LOVE! read more

I have eaten 4 times now at Kindee. It is family operated by Thai family. All the dishes I have tried have been very good. The last two times I tried the crispy duck curry which was recommended to me by a golfing buddy. The duck is so crispy, the curry is medium spicy, and the pineapple and other fruits and vegetables in the curry sauce go so well with the duck. They are open from lunch thru dinner till 9 pm. I am very interested in trying a special which is pork basil which is the fatty bacon cut of pork seasoned in some type of thai basil sauce with vegetables. It looks very good. Kindee is highly recommended to anyone who loves Thai food. It is some of the best I have had in Vancouver, Washington. read more

First time trying this place. The food was really good but it took an hour and a half to get it. Our waitress forgot to put in our order and then forgot what we ordered even though she wrote it down. She did the same to the couple next to us. If we go back we will call in for take out. They desperately need new wait staff. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff! I LOVE Kindee Thai and I can't express that enough. Everything I've tried so far has been awesome, from the fresh salad rolls to the Pad Cashew Nut. I'm pumped they opened a great Thai place near me. These guys are also military friendly and offer a discount if you present a military ID. I've tried about 6 different main dishes and all 3 of the fried rice options. The food is great every time the staff when I pick up my food is very friendly. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is I still have not actually sat down to eat in the restaurant. Amazing! I come here at least once a week with my family. There food is incredible best Thai I have ever had. I get chicken pad Thai, +shrimp(tails removed)+tofu -veggies. It's a quiet hole in the wall. Music is tasteful and not distracting. Service is overall great, with the staff always happy to see a new or old customer. I am a lover of Thai food and have tried so many different places. When we first moved to Vancouver I was so sad because the restaurants in Portland had so much variety and Vancouver was definitely lacking. Luckily Kindee Thai stepped in and made me feel like I could handle the lack of restaurants because at least I had one that was absolutely delicious! We visit this spot a few times a month and it's consistently amazing. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the dishes seem very authentic, and everything I have tried on the menu has impressed me. I should have taken a picture but my family inhaled everything. The food was excellent. We all shared the 3 flavor fish, Tom yum soup and the simple noodles with pork. Don't be fooled by the name the simple noodles were really good! We will be back! read more
