However, I tried Meri last month and was okay with the outcome. So, last Saturday was my second visit. The atmosphere was about the same, greeted and assisted as soon as I enter but as this was the Saturday after the 4th there was a crowd. I was greeted and my appointment was scheduled. I requested Tweet because that's who I had on my first visit and the results were wonderful. As the establishment was busy, the receptionist didn't convey my request for a certain technician and I received my services from Victor. Everything was great until it was time to polish. I opted for regular on this section as I'm trying to determine if consecutive gel polish may be damaging my nail bed. My big toe on both feet was horrible. Now, Victor did do a bad job on the pedicure and all those steps but when he painted my toe nails (big toe only) it was thick and cakey looking. I couldn't get his attention before he was on to the next do another technician assured me she would fix it. She did, but I think I'll just do my own pedicure for a while until I find a location that provides the type of services I'm use to receiving.

If you're looking for a clean, relaxing, professional nail salon, give them a try. There's lots of parking and offer other services as well. They accept cash and credit cards. I'm a runner and my feet look rough with lots of blisters and callouses but the girl who did my toes was so gentle and she didn't hurt me once. I liked that she asked if I wanted her to use a razor so I could say no. Other places have just done it without asking. Just a head's up, they do not take Amex or checks and only take cash for tips. Pedicure was $27 which I thought was very reasonable.

The tech, Vyve, who did my pedicure and (hand) french gel was fantastic. The only drawback was the loud conversation of other employee(s) - not Vyve- during my pedicure. The plexiglass at the nail stations also needs to be cleaned. Other reviews were not the best but it seems like the current staff is working hard on improvements. I'll definitely return and hope others will give the salon a chance. The prices are fair and service is very good.

The woman at station #6 got upset because I specifically requested the technician at station #2, but I did so because the one at station #1 is rough, always has an attitude, and rushes through the work.
