This shop has done down over time, i think management has changed and so has the customer service and quality. The techs are so loud, talking in a foreign language across the room to one another. The Spa atmosphere is totally absent. Often late opening and asking you to come back another day if you come in within two hours of closing. I came here for a pedicure and it was rushed. I didn't even get to enjoy soaking my feet in the water. She did my pedicure in no longer than 5 mins. It was so rushed I didn't like it. Then two weeks ago I tried to give them a try again On a Sunday. They said they close at 5pm and I walked in at 4:20 because I was driving around trying find a nail shoo that is open on a Sunday and didn't realize this shop was open by my house on a Sunday. I was kinda glad they were because I been working a turn around for the past 2.5 month and my feet look horrible. I gave this salon a try after many years of not going there because of poor service in the past even though it's closest to my house. The tech, Vyve, who did my pedicure and (hand) french gel was fantastic. The only drawback was the loud conversation of other employee(s) - not Vyve- during my pedicure. The plexiglass at the nail stations also needs to be cleaned. Other reviews were not the best but it seems like the current staff is working hard on improvements. I'll definitely return and hope others will give the salon a chance. The prices are fair and service is very good. read more

I've been here a couple of times since moving back to the Central area. I had still planned to drive to my previous salon because I'm so particular (an loyal to a fault sometimes). I stopped here the first time because it's very close to my house, and I was short on time. They were pretty busy, but the wait wasn't very long compared to other places I've been. I was greeted immediately, and they didn't make me wait overly long. They have a menu of items, and I made my selections. I got a pedicure and refill of hombres nails. They worked quickly, but did a really good job on them both times I've been. They looked great until I was able to get back there. The interior is small, but well laid out and decor is nice. They keep it clean as well, which is appreciated. I would recommend them and think I've found my new "nail place"! read more

When I walked into the establishment, I wasn't greeted, but the woman who came in after me was. I asked for a nail repair since I was heading out of town, but instead of helping me, they started questioning me about where I got my nails done--even though I always come here and had them done at this very salon. The woman at station #6 got upset because I specifically requested the technician at station #2, but I did so because the one at station #1 is rough, always has an attitude, and rushes through the work. When I arrived, I requested the lady who sits in #1 to do my nails. After receiving my pedicure, the lady in #6 became angry because I did not choose her. I also asked some questions, to which they provided dishonest answers, as the next time I visited, the requested task was completed. I miss having Antwan work there. The women at the salon all seem to have bad attitudes and act as if they are unable to fulfill requests. I wanted to love this place. I really did. I don't know if the owners have changed or management, but this is not the same place I started going to last year. I get dip nails. Dip nails are supposed to last 3 weeks at least. I got my nails done last week and this week I had 3 broken nails. The girl really rush my hands! I took off overlay and got dip nails in a bout 45 minutes, she must've had somewhere to go. I called today before going, telling them my nails broke after only a week. They said , "ok come in and get fixed!" Not this is where it gets terrible. The nails I got last week were REALLY RELALY thin, so that was the cause of them breaking. So today I go in to get fixed and the girl says " is this the same color?" I said " yes it is, but today you used more coats" so of course it looks different now. Instead of redoing my hands she only fixed the broken nails and now it looks CRAZY! She still rush and my nails looks terrible! The nail shop is way too expensive to go there every week. I previously worked and lived in the Central area so this was my go-to nail salon. My last visit was about 2 weeks ago. I got a powder ombré set and a milk& honey pedicure. Both services were carried out by the mid-aged woman with brownish hair. She isn't particularly rude but works too fast for comfort. She started with the pedicure which is $45. She took all of 5 minutes if that. Very rushed job. My feet were soft maybe a week. My powder set was much worst. She yanked my hands and the entire ordeal was very rough and rush. My nails were not the same size or length. The shape was even odd on some fingers. In total I paid $110. I'm giving 3 stars because the man who works there does a phenomenal job with acrylic and powder sets. He can literally do anything and his work is always clean and exactly what you want. The younger woman who's currently with child does a great job with pedicures. She's patient and kind and takes care with each step. read more

Andy is the absolute best. He's always honest, patient and creative. But, most of all, he's funny and down to earth. I've been a loyal customer since February 2019. My daughter (17 years old, pretty tomboyish) gets her nails done (dip or shellac) fatefully as well, simply because the customer service is impeccable!! The customer service has gone down tremendously at this salon. When you walk in and ask what's the wait time? They immediately say 10 minutes just to get you to sit there for 20 minutes. They are under staffed. I gave them a second chance today. My Husband needed a pedicure and I a manicure. They told us they told me they were not taking anymore people. I said,"But it's not 6:30." She replied,"We like to get out of here at a certain time." I was insulted and I would never give them my business again. If they weren't taking anymore customers, then they should have had their door locked and open sign turned off. read more

This place is new and minutes away from my home, I've been waiting to give them a try. Regretfully, I did so this weekend. I went in for a manicure and pedicure. I guess the pedicure menu they offer is nice, but for the first few upcharge options I usually receive these services for the normal pedicure price. Meaning the hot stone/towel & wax, is included for the 30-35 cost I usually pay. Needless to say, the pedicure was less than my usually experience because I didn't pay the upcharge. I'm not cheap, I just refused to pay them for something that's included at the other salon I usually visit. Secondly, when I was getting my manicure the tech didn't take time to get all the polish off the corner of my nails nor did she clean under my nails. Not that they were dirty, she just didn't attempt to do so. Third, while snipping my cuticles, she cut me and I was bleeding badly. She acted like it was not a big deal, I was surprisingly on my best behavior and did not have a fit. Not considering the pint of blood I loss, this was the least satisfying manicure I've ever received at a salon. I had to snip a hangnail myself when I got home. The icing on the cake was this morning while searching through my handbag (a Louis Vuitton) that cost the average person monthly salary smelled like polish. Low and behold, being I brought my own polish when she walked me over to the drying station she put it in my bag. Apparently, she didn't make sure it was close tightly. The top coat and chip skip was leaking. The chip ship smells like nail polish remover, so it's pretty strong. Not that the interior of my bag was flawless, but for someone else to do something so stupid has me pissed! They close nail polish bottles all day everyday, you think she could have double checked that it was closed tightly! My 1 and only experience, I'll stick with Allure Nails & Spa in Central! The salon is nice, but Allure Nails & Spa is just as nice. Actually, Allure has very cute kiddy spa chairs for little girls that's adorable. I was not impressed with anything other than the various fruit pedicure options on their menu. I didn't try them but it seems like good options. read more
