I have returned to exotic nails after them always being so busy (which is great, but I hate waiting for an hour). But I returned about a year ago and CONSTANTLY am overly satisfied and left with amazing toes and nails!! I have been getting some crazy dip nails recently and they have BLOWN it out of the water! I added some pictures for reference! The last one with the flowers was taken about a week post manicure! But the design was spot on what I wanted! Very clean, very good work, LOTS of color options, and comfy in general. They use liners in every pedicure basin (SO important - many places do not clean it well enough for germs to die), and use tools that were just sanitized. Their "normal" pedicure is $29, not including a massage or scrub down. If you want a massage and foot/leg scrub, it's an extra $5. I feel like most places I go include that in a regular pedicure? However, my pedicure looks amazing and the massage was just exactly what I needed, so I guess it was worth the $5. Just felt a little nickel'ed and dimed on that piece. Minus one star: Noticed other people definitely got better service like another reviewer noted - offered a drink for example. Fantastic service! Luckily I made an appointment because they were very busy. As soon as I was seated at the pedicure chair I was offered a drink and began my process of relaxation. The actual pedi was great but be exfoliating rub down was amazing!!!! The young lady I had was superb. I also got a manicure- zero complaints. Usually other technicians at various other shops hurt my cuticles. This young lady did a fantastic job. Again, the rub down on my arms and hands were the best parts! I will start by saying: I am vocal about uneven or misshapen nails that I notice. Not all technicians appreciate this. However, i am paying for your service and will kindly request it be done in a way that is pleasing to me. That being said... I arrived, the shop was empty. I told the guy (with neck tattoos) that I only had an hour. I asked if he thought the could do a fullset and a pedicure in an hour. He said yes. I said 'really?' (surprised). He said yes again and laughed. Ok, cool. 30 minutes in he is still working on my pedicure. I ask if we'll have time for the fullset. He, again, assures me that we will. On my big toes, I asked for two false toenails to be placed as my toe nails were sadly short. He made the false nail the same size as my natural nail ....? uhmmmm. i was determined to have a peaceful day though. At the 50 minute mark, I told him, don't polish my toes, I will come back after I run my errand, and we can finish everything. I was pleasant and again, determined to have a godo day. When I return, there are more customers. I wait fro about 15 minutes for they same guy to return to finish up. They have two locations and they employees travel between the two. When he arrived he seemed like he was in a rush. I told him I didnt like the false toenails and that iw anted them redone. It was a HUGE problem. every technician in the building chimed in, of course, in a language I couldn't understand. Finally, I was told that if I redo the big toe, they would have to re-do everything. (what everything means, IDK?). I say, fine, i don;t like it plz re-do what is necessary. The guy has left at this point and the new lady proceeds to paint the false nail . sigh. my patience is thinning by this point. i reiterate what i want. she acts as though i asked for her to give me a blood sacrifice. She ushers me over to the nail station to do my full set and shellac polish. She literally falsetto sang along to the radio the entire time. pretty annoying. She asked me condescending questions like 'is this your first time getting your nails done'; 'you aren't from around here?' b.s like that. i dont know if her nae was ROSE but she was carrying a case with supplies that said Rose (#10) i think it was 10. She was rude. Now I am perturbed and pissed. MEANWHILE- and this is what really pissed me off- another customer comes in, says, i only have an hour for a pedicure and fullset. OH MY GOD. She is out of there in under an hour. Mind you, My pedicure is done at this point, she has come and gone and I am still in there. hey worked on her hands and feet at the same time. Which is what I thought theyd do for me. Instead, the lady that was there while i was the only customer there was walking around looking bored. so Im BIG MAD by now. feeling profiled, talked about in a language i don't understand, and getting poor service compared to what i ended up paying. others were offered bottles of water- me- nothing. i cant say with certainty that it was a race thing. i can say that i was the only customer of color in the building at the time. They fix my toe nails. i have to file the big toe myself because she all of a sudden didn't know what square round meant and asked me for a picture. wtf. if the edge of the nail was even, i would have been happy with that but it was wavy/uneven. so the first time i left, i was charged 36$ for the pedicure. Due to time, i didn't get to even have all of what was supposed to be done, done. The 2nd time, she charged me 74$ WHATTTTT THE WHAT! right! She said, 10 for the false toenails, which, he shoudl have charged me the first time if there was going to be a charge. 41 for full-set; 23 for shellac polish. blew me out the water. i was so outdone i just paid and left. it kept eating at me though, bc that just seems like way more than i ever paid. I went in to get a polish change and a pedicure. Let me start from the beginning. I read that they closed at 6 so I called them when I got off work around 5 to see if they would take me if I came now and they said yes. Perfect so I drive over there and walk in and was informed that it would be just a minute so I sat down to wait. About two minutes later the girl that was working in the front tells me to come back Monday because no one can take me right now, at first I was like okay but then I walked back inside and told them that that's not right because I called ahead of time to make sure I would be seen and they told me yes at first. After that she told me that I would have to wait then. Cool. So after I got my pedicure they sat me to get my nails done and the lady came up to me and told me it would be $62. So at this point I start questioning them because in the pricing book it says a pedicure is $29 and a gel polish change is $23 so when I questioned my tech about it she tried to throw me a bs explanation saying it was going to be $26 for a refill and $15 for the gel polish (mind you I WAS NOT GETTING A REFILL.) so I told her I wasn't getting a refill and she was like I understand but it would be more if I just charged you regular gel polish "it's going to be $30+$5 because you have long nails" so at this point I'm confused because ho so we get to this point when you book says something COMPLETELY different? Long story short I will NOT be back. I paid for my pedicure and walked out. SN: you guys need to update your pricing book and make your prices CLEAR instead of trying to pull a blind over peoples eyes and over charge them. Get it together. They're always super busy but do take appointments which I always do since there isn't a wait time. Be careful who does your nails though. Today I Was rushed through and my nails look like crap and the girl was rude. I've never been able to have acrylics longer than 2 weeks because they fall off. This place consistently does an awesome job and they last at least 3 weeks. The techs listen to you. This place looks nice and the people are nice, but they do NOT adhere to their own policy. Their policy is if your gel nail is chipped within the week you can get them polished again for free. I got gel polish, NONE of my nails lasted the more than 4 days, and they began to peel. When I tried to get an appointment to get them fixed, my call was not returned and I had to call again to make an appointment. I STILL couldn't get the appointment, I had to go in to take the first available technician. When I went to get them fixed I was told that I would be charged. I have been looking for a nail salon for the past few months. I decided to get a manicure. The nail salon is very clean. I really liked the environment. The color selection is awesome. I'm an OPI fan and they had a very wide selection. Once seated, the manager tried to upsell the shellac nails. I wish that I would've taken his suggestion but I was being frugal. I got charged $48 for a full set of acrylic nails here. I'm still really in awe of how expensive it was. Apparently, they add additional charges for shaping the acrylic nails and for having the previous set removed. Now, I've been getting acrylic nails for years in dozens of different nail salons and this is a first. Why on earth would you get a set of acrylic nails without having them shaped? It was $8. Every other nail salon you will go to includes shaping in the cost of the acrylic nails sets because that's just a part of getting the nails. That would be the equivalent of going to a restaurant and having to pay an additional charge to sit down at a table Furthermore, the lady didn't tell me about these additional charges until afterwards until she saw me gaping at my receipt. ANY other nail salon I've been too will NOT charge you this much. Previously, the most expensive full set I've gotten was around $35. And you can get them cheap for as little as $20 I got a $51 manicure. (including the tip, because even though I was frustrated with the lady I felt bad not tipping). All I can say is this better be a damn good manicure that lasts me the next month and a half, although I highly suspect there will be no difference between this and the $20 I usually get Another thing that is not nearly a big deal as the price but that I would like to mention: The lady doing my nails asked me what school I went to. I told her LSU, and she looked shocked and proceeded to tell me and my friend we looked like freshman in high school. We are 20 years old, 8 years removed from being freshman in high school, and we didn't really appreciate that. My friend and I do look younger than our age, but I still found that to be kind of a rude, unnecessary thing to comment on after we had already told her we very much weren't freshman in high school. She also told me my eyebrows looked like they needed to be done (in an attempt to get more money from me? because the $51 wasn't enough?) I find it hard to believe they charge $48 for a regular full set and still get business. Also we were there for over two and a half hours but honestly there were so many other issues that's not even a big deal to me. They were really busy whenever we got there and it took them about 10-15 minutes to notice us. The one thing I will say was that there was a friendly guy who worked there who was asking me if I had ever been there before and when I said no, asked me how I liked the place and the manicure I got. He wasn't the one working on me, I think he may have been the owner? But he was nice and seemed interested in how I liked my service. Anyway, I will still never go back here simply for the reason that I can get a perfectly good manicure for much cheaper anywhere else read more

I went to get a polish change because my normal spa was closed. I brought my son with me who is 5 years old. The owner was visibly mad that my son was laughing and talking at his iPad. I reprimanded my son several times at the owners suggestion although my son wasn't that loud. Towards the end of my services the owner walked up to my son and yelled in his face " you need to be quiet and stop talking" while poking my sons leg with his finger. This was a shock being that my son was not talking that loud and the over head music was overshadowing his voice . I had to tell the owner not to touch my son and let him know that I would not be back. If they don't want children in their salon they should put a sign up stating so. I really wanted to love this nail salon! A coworker of mine is a faithful customer here, so I tried it out. What happened when I arrived really sucked. I called at work asked what time they closed which is 7 and they take their last customer at 6:30. Great, I got off went home, got sandals picked up my daughter and husband they wanted to tag along. I pull up about 6:25, grab my sandals walk in, a lady is paying as I arrive, looking around I love how it looks I was very excited! A lady greeted me asked what I needed I told her pedicure and she replied ok pick a color. About 3 minutes later another lady walked up and declined to see me saying they were closed, maybe I would like to go to the mall "they open till 9". I could feel the blood boiling, well if I wanted to get service at the mall I would have went there first. I mean I just had a blank stare, then I told her the lady said for me to pick a color and she just kept saying to go to the mall and she was the manager (which I doubt) and the other lady didn't know the rules. I would have much rather her say, we're closing, let's schedule you and appointment for tomorrow is that ok? Even though that would still be a lie, at least I would know they were interested in keeping my business not pushing me off somewhere else. They are very friendly, the facility is really clean, and they have a vast color selection. I also like how you have the option to be seated next to your friend to have a quiet conversation. Came here because of all the great reviews that I had read online. Literally the worst decision I have made today. I got the $29 pedicure expecting a normal pedicure where my feet would be scrubbed, cuticles cut down, painted, and done. No. She started cutting my cuticles and I repeated said "ow that hurts" and she'd say "that hurts?" Yes it hurts! I wouldnt have said it if it didnt. She then starts to paint my nails with all the dead skin I started with STIll on my feet. It was basically a glorified polish change. When I asked for the skin to be taken off she says "Well you didnt pay for that". I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR A BASIC PEDICURE SERVICE?! I didnt ask for the fancier packages because I didnt want the oils or massage. Which apparently you have to get in order to leave with prettier feet than you came in with.
