At that exact moment my phone rang, and it was London calling, so I decided I should go. This is a nail salon in Baton Rouge which Barbie checked out and enjoyed. They do good work and seem like good people. I'm definitely a fan. The main downside to this nail salon is that it's a little bit out of town, so they don't get as much traffic as they deserve, but there are plenty of upsides, and one of the upsides is that they are affordable and do sexy work and I highly recommend them. Having said all of that, I will give them a better appraisal after Barbie is able to get her full manu done here in the near future. I want to commend this business for having such a wonderful staff of artists working there to make…read morecustomers feel taken care of and comfortable. Having said that, I did not go there for that experience and while it always helps, at the end of the day I went there to get my nails done. I had been referred to by a coworker and that combined with the reviews on Yelp were the motivating factor to choose Kiss My Nails over other competitors. I would have given this business 5 stars if it had not been for these three things: * They did not push my cuticles down (and to be honest I did not even realize this at first) I believe the nails would've looked nicer and neater had the cuticles been pushed and the excess skin trimmed off. * The shape of the nail is not natural, IMHO. You can see in one of the pictures how the actual nail is very flat and does not have a natural curve/dome in the middle. They could have shaped them and built up a little gel in that middle area to create an appealing curvature to the nail. * They left topcoat on and around and under my nails. You can barely see this in the picture, but that is because I cleaned up the dried up topcoat with acetone when I got home. Dried up topcoat on the skin is very uncomfortable. For the price I paid, I was expecting that at the very least. Having said all that, I would recommend the place and will probably go again with the constructive criticism I have listed here. If they correct the things I mention the second time, I would definitely consider making it my go-to nail salon, but that's not the case at the moment.

Just as she finished the pedicure someone else walked in . They asked her what she wanted. She replied a pedicure and they took her instead of me. I waited for my wife to complete her manicure and we left. Total disrespect. We will not be back. We went there once a month. We will not be back.
