The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and kind! Normally nail places suffocate you with the smell of chemicals from all of the polish, but this place downplays the smell so it's not bad at all. The prices are INCREDIBLE, paid 68 dollars to get my sister's manicure, my other sister's pedicure, and my eyebrows waxed. The venue was super clean and chic, the music was low and not overbearing, and the atmosphere was so friendly and calming. It was my very first eyebrow wax and the lady was really kind and patient. I wish I could give them 6 out of 5 stars! This place is excellent, I'm certainly coming back, and I'm definitely recommending them to all of my friends and family! I love this little place and I almost hate to post this review. I don't want it to get over run with customers and I not be able to get in and get my regular pedicure!! This is a little gem. It's not over the top on decor or other bell's & whistles, but it's comfy and very pleasant. The ladies and gentlemen there remember you and automatically send you your regular manicurist. Which is nice. They know you, what you like, and what you want. Tv is always on HGTV which for me is a plus! It's always a good relaxing time out, which is one reason I go out to get a pedicure! I would give them a 5 if they rotated nail colors a bit more. Some sit and get old. Otherwise, great spot. Would tell you my favorite person there, but I don't want you all asking for her and she then doesn't have time for me!! read more

It would take a lot for me to rate a stand alone nail salon a 5 stars, but I truly loved my experience at Iris Nails. I've been searching for a good nail salon around my work. After a bad experience at a nearby place, I found Iris. I posted a photo of the OPI gel selection they have: PERFECT. They have all the new colors! The girls were super friendly. We talked about running and different GPS apps. They were hilarious and made my experience awesome. I went about a week ago, and so far the gel has lasted great. They were quick and thorough, which is exactly what I needed for my one hour lunch break. I think the woman that did my nails was name Leelee or Lulu. I would definitely recommended getting her she was AWESOME. This place seems to also have a lot of regulars, the girls knew a lot of customers by name. I will most certainly be returning next week for another shellac manicure! read more

I think I have been to most of the nail salons in Baton Rouge and many good a few not so good, but Iris' has such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with high quality services. I've been looking for a nail place near Prairieville and so happy to try Iris. I got a manipedi for $40. The chairs are comfy, the place is clean (even bathrooms), but best is that they did a great job, doing what I wanted for both my nails and tails, even though I was particular. I had a great experience overall. I had service at their opening time and no time was wasted. Hannah did my hands and was so nice. I got a acrylic gel set and a spa pedicure with gel. I paid $91. I really appreciated the owner explaining the price difference of gel polish and gel sets. My only criticism is the pedicure- it wasn't bad but could be improved. I had a different employee doing my feet and she didn't shape my toe nail symmetrical and two toes polished ran over but overall not really mad just an observation. The shop was very clean and beautifully decorated. I like that it wasn't loud or too busy. I was very impressed and I'm definitely returning! read more

This nail salon was recommended to me by the hair stylist across the street. After realizing that I needed a serious mani/pedi I decided to come here. When I arrived the place was packed. I picked my color and sat down on the massage chair and waited for my turn. I didn't mind, the massage chair kept me company. After about 20 minutes, the lady came over and started to soak my feet. The water was sizzling hot but I fought the urge to say something and just waited for my feet to get used to it. The young man came to attend me. He was amazing. He saved me from picking a color that would literally match my skin. How horrible would it be to get a mani/pedi with a color that didn't even show?!! I would be horrified. So, THANK GOD for him and his honesty. He picked a great neutral color. My mani / pedi was more than fantastic. My nails look amazing. I am very satisfied with this place. I will definitely be returning. For a madi/pedi was $40.00 plus tip. read more

Made the mistake of going back to this spot for a second chance and exact same thing happened...the lady cut my toenails WAY too short! Not sure why the people here want you to get an ingrown toenail but seems like nail care 101. I have to take the blame on this trip but I can guarantee there will not be a third time. read more

The service here is horrible. The nail technician was sloppy with her work, and she rushed while painting my nails. They are not neat and clean like they're supposed to be. On the side on my nails where the nail meets the skin, it's no nail polish there b/c the technician kept rubbing it off with her finger nail, I'm assuming to get the excess off, but she took too much off. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! You get what you pay for. First, the water was cold. When I told her this, she rolled her eyes, ran the water for a few seconds - which did nothing - and started with my pedicure. She began cutting my toe nails (which were already pretty short) without even asking if I wanted them trimmed. She cut them so short that if hurt when she filed them. Then she cut the corners at an angle...my ingrown toenails will probably make a comeback. The rest of the pedicure was extremely rushed. I still have visible dead skin on my feet. Usually I look forward to the massage - there was no massage. She did a terrible job painting my toenails and missed parts of them. When she finished, she simply looked at me and said, "go to the dryer." She did not even pretend to help me carry my things, and she did not turn the dryer on for me - I had to figure it out myself. When she finished cleaning the pedicure station, she walked up to me and said "28 dollars" with her hand out. I found her to be incredibly rude. I will not be returning. Pay the few extra dollars and get a real pedicure elsewhere. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. My daughter and I entered the shop. Immediately the workers began talking in Vietnamese and laughing. After asking us to pick a color they proceeded to rush us saying " you hurry"! " you hurry!" There was another customer in the shop who sunk her head with embarrassment. After such rude treatment we left. I will never visit iris nails again. read more
