She then turned me over to someone else. After 2 1/2 hours, my nails are 75% completed my nails are pink rather than white and I remind her that was not what I asked for. English was not her first language so conversation went back-and-forth between my Manicurist and the owner, problem enough.... I don't understand what is being said... the possible solution when a lovely patron decides to inform me that it wasn't nice to inform the manicurist that I wasn't happy with what was being done to my nails.. I had been rude in bringing the color issue to the manicurist attention (it's unchristian) and as her daughter was in the shop, she was using me as an example for her daughter of the kind of behavior not to exhibit in that situation. All the while .... the owner has apparently decided the original manicurist should continue trying to fix the nail color which I eventually point out remains pink. The owner eventually steps in again and corrects the situation and I leave with my nails completed, but nothing else, but please. I bet you're thinking it's the end, oh no. Before I go my oh so gracious teaching mother loudly states as I'm washing my hands that she is willing to pay for my services. I'm thinking... Oh!!! Really!! She's a regular so I thanked her and said no but I did bless her for pointing out my unchristian like behavior today and left. I don't think this salon and I are a good match. Anyway, sorry lol this place was great! The lady who runs it is Vietnamese and slightly hard to understand over the phone but I liked her a lot when I got there. She was super nice and friendly and pretty. She did a good job. Only difference between there and village was there was no hot stone treatment but she did massage my feet and calves. I had two different people work on me: one for my hands, one for my feet. And trust me, it was a tag-team disaster. Let's start with the lady who did my nails. She was friendly, I'll give her that--but that's about where the good part ends. I asked for a manicure, and halfway through, I realized she was just doing my nails with no sign of an actual manicure. When I asked, she casually told me, "You don't need manicure," then explained that if you get acrylic, you don't get a manicure. I'm sorry... what? Since when are the two mutually exclusive? I requested French tips with two different colors on each nail. She said that wasn't possible because they'd "blend together." (Pretty sure nail artists do this all the time but OK.) She insisted on doing a cat eye design instead. The cat eye came out nice--but the polish job overall? A complete mess. Uneven, lumpy, sloppy... just look at the photos. Now, onto Lady #2--the one who did my pedicure. She was younger, not friendly at all, and weirdly aggressive. She scrubbed the inside of my ankles multiple times (yes, you read that right). I kept pulling my feet back and she never once paused or apologized. Who doesn't know the ankles are not the soles? Then, when applying the gel polish, she dropped the dryer right on my wet toes--not once, but twice. She fixed the toe she smudged but continued to just slam the dryer down like we were in some sort of speed challenge. The massage that was supposed to be included? Nearly nonexistent. My feet were still rough, and she only used two hot stones. It was giving "bare minimum." Final bill? $75. Final result? A mess. I called to request a refund and was told they don't do refunds, but I could "come back so they could fix it." Why would I go back to the same people who already butchered the job? That makes zero sense. I even disputed the charge with my bank, but--lucky me--they denied it. Three days later, I found a real nail tech, paid $80, and finally got nails worth being seen in public. I was broke afterward but at least I looked cute. Bottom line: I left with sore ankles, messed-up nails, and a burning desire to never return. Do yourself a favor--go literally anywhere else.

I saw people…read morethat were getting pedicures who were frustrated because the nail techs cannot understand what we are staying. I tried to tell the nail tech that we wanted them cut short. She never did understand what I said. I did notice the person beside us felt the same.
