Best dry cleaner in a town full of weak dry cleaners…read more If you need crisply pressed suits and business attire, this is the best place. If you travel for work and need "boxed" shirts to fit into your luggage, this is also the best place for that in all of GR. The detail in the press is unmatched in town. The owner is a really hard working yet affable guy. He has turned around shirts and suits in under 24 hours for me more than a few times. That's great service! I have used Rainbow now for 6 straight years and they never let me down. Don't understand why business and legal types would use another cleaner in town. If you have never tried rainbow, you should do so.

Eeegads~ I'm new to Yelp and started browsing reviews of my "favs" and "least favs" around town…read more I was shocked (honestly, shocked) to see the 5 star review for this place. Be careful~ you may think they've done a good job with your clothes so far. They did a fine job with mine for about a year. And I was a solid customer~ about $100 per month in cleaning... and then I took them my (brand new) comforter. I asked to have it dry cleaned-- instead, the washed it, and ruined the fabric covering. It was clear that it had been washed--the fabric was all pilly. All I asked for was that they repay the cost of the cleaning (not even replace the comforter). The "friendly" family yelled at me (yes, yelled, and screamed and demanded I leave the store). I filed a BBB complaint, and they still wouldn't repay the $30. I've never been back.

Although the top loader is the cheapest, people seem to not use them so not sure if they don't work very well. It's .25 cents per 5 minutes ($1.50 for 30 minutes to save you on the math). They have a kids room too. They have several tables for folding and a few carts. There's probably only 8 parking spots but across the street is a huge parking lot.

Unlike some places they don't jam 4 or 5 shirts into one hanging bag which wrinkles them. They only put 3 shirts per bag which keeps them crisp. Ann & Monroe Cleaners is by far the best dry cleaning service in the Grand Rapids area. I have…read moretried multiple cleaners including Curtis cleaners and Sheldon. This company is a small, family run business which is extremely customer friendly and has unbeatable prices. Sheldon would charge my upwards of $10.50 to dry clean a pair of pants (and their prices would always change depending on the pants, leaving you surprised every time you came in to pay). Ann & Monroe charges $7.50 for a pair of pants and the quality is just as good or better than any other cleaner in GR. Check them out on google for more reviews, but you won't be disappointed with their price, quality, and friendly service.
