I stayed here for a night and received an upgrade to a suite room on 10th floor, mostly happy with my stay, the only downsides are noise from the street late night and elevator noise, also not very convenient to take elevator all the way up to check in/check out. The hotel is a short walk from the Fort Worth Center station, $2/person ride from DFW! There are orange bus at Commerce & 7th going to the Stockyard, and blue bus which is free for downtown area. There are some restaurants and an ice cream shop nearby. My room is about 600 sqft, which is very spacious for someone coming from NYC! The mini bar is fully stocked, prices are clearly listed. One large closet in the hallway and one large closet in the bedroom; yoga mat is provided in the hallway closet. One TV in the living room and one TV in the bedroom. I like that the shower room has a clear door, separating the shower and bath from toilet and vanity. There are two layers of window curtains, both privacy and black-out are taken care of. The gym is full of updated equipments. I was able to get bottled water from desk and refill my water bottle in the gym. Front desk staff were overall friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's a charming older hotel in a great area of downtown. Lots to do and see, great restaurants for any occasion. Our room was fantastic, on the 23rd floor with a great view, especially at night. The staff here all go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. This place is really a standout.

Kimpton Harper is an exceptional place to stay in Fort Worth! Perfect location overlooking Sundance Square- walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Excellent customer service, beautiful view over the square from roof top bar, nice, quaint room with lots of space. The staff was friendly and personable. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning and the complimentary coffee was excellent. We found this hotel to be charming and loved all the little extras making such a thoughtful touch to out of towners.

Nice hotel with old school charm. Interesting check-in procedure. The registration desk is on the top floor. Great views with nightly happy hour on this 24th floor. I'll say you must have patience as everything is slow at this establishment. Be ready to wait to check in if there is more than one guest at a time, if you order any services or supplies to the room, and if you need valet. So plan ahead of you're in a rush. The beds are fabulous, rooms nicely done and the extra living space made it excellent for an office set up separate from the sleeping area. The new diamond elite perks are good here offering dining credit options, free breakfast, late check out and much more. I'd stay again for sure!

Let me start by saying that the service and general aesthetics of this boutique hotel is excellent. I flew in from NY and after a long flight, checked into the Kimpton around 10:45pm. Stood on line for a few mins and was greeted by Bruce at the front desk. He's awesome. Seriously. Told me that I looked like I could use a glass of wine, walked away, and handed me a glass before he started checking me in. Swear I wanted to hug him - that's how grateful I was. He was pleasant and exuded all of the southern hospitality I hear so much about (which I'm not used to being from NY). Got to my room and it was beautiful....then I saw all of the stains on the carpet. They were gross....and everywhere - living room, bedroom, couch, even a stain on the bathroom rug. The pictures don't do it justice. I immediately called Bruce and within less than 5mins he sent security down to my room to deliver a new set of keys for a new room. If that's not ridiculously good service, I don't know what is. Headed upstairs to my new room, walked in and it was just as nice as the first room, but still plenty of gross noticeable stains on the floor. Like, everywhere - pretty disgusting, but I was way too tired at that point to switch rooms again. I was shocked and confused as to why they don't have maintenance check the rooms and clean the carpet. A carpet cleaning machine is literally a hundred bucks at Home Depot - they need to invest in one....or two. Also, the elevator takes FOREVER. I'm not kidding. I waited a full 10mins at one point and there was a line of people behind me waiting to squeeze in once it arrived. Lastly, I tried ordering room service at 3:15 and was told their kitchen is closed between 3pm and 5pm....um, ok. Had to get dressed and go out to find food - super inconvenient. So other than the slow elevators, inconvenient room service times, gross carpets and my advisory to keep your socks on while waking around, this hotel is fairly good - and so is their staff.

We bought our tickets to the event when we arrived. Tickets for tours are also available. After walking through the store and the rows of wooden barrels from floor to ceiling, you find yourself in a small area with a big bar. The event price includes one cocktail of your choice. I chose the Oh Peachy and later purchased a pecan old-fashioned; both were delicious! Unfortunately, the food truck broke down, so there was no food available!! Big Mike was performing in the big lodge room; the acoustics are pretty bad, especially once people start talking, but at least it was cool in there, We spent a lot of time in the store and ended up purchasing a fused bottle of whiskey to split. It was fun, deciding which cork stopper to get to add to my daughter's collection. The store has different sizes and shapes of a wooden court display boards; in the shape of Texas. The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

First, the air conditioning situation was unacceptable. While setting up earlier in the day, all the AC units were functioning fine. But by the time our event started at 5:45 p.m., the venue started getting noticeably warmer. By 7:30 p.m., it was unbearably hot. We realized that only two of the AC units were actually running, despite there being multiple units around the venue, each controlled by 4 different remotes. No matter what we tried, the remotes would not turn the other units on. On top of that, two of the AC unit/fans were leaking, which our guests complained about throughout the evening. There were PUDDLES of water everywhere by the end of the night. We attempted to contact the owner, Monica, multiple times, and she finally responded after several attempts--far too late to resolve the issue. The heat got so bad that guests were leaving the venue to cool off in their cars before trying to come back in. Many left by 10 p.m., unable to enjoy the event. I was incredibly embarrassed. I spent a lot of money on this venue expecting my guests to have a good time, and they did not. Second, the bartender situation was completely unprofessional. We hired the bartender through the venue, and later found out she's related to the owner (which would've been fine--if she had done her job). My guests told me she disappeared for almost an hour, and one of my own guests had to step behind the bar and serve drinks. I later found out the bartender was outside "taking a break" because it was too hot. A 15-minute break is one thing, but vanishing for an hour while getting paid hourly is absolutely ridiculous. To top it off, here's a helpful tip: if you rent this venue, bring your own trash bags--even if you've paid a cleaning fee. Apparently, that doesn't include basic supplies. Bottom line: This place is not worth the money, time, or stress. Poor climate control, poor communication, and poor staffing made for a miserable night. I will never return, and I do not recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event.

First, this is not an all-inclusive venue. Many items are charged separately, including linens, use of the TV, AV equipment, and even certain rooms like the back room. These additional costs can add up quickly, so I recommend asking for a full breakdown of fees in advance. I also want to mention the policy regarding security officers. When I booked, I was told the officer requirement would be at the manager's discretion. I communicated multiple times that my event would end by 6 PM. However, I was still required to pay for an officer through 10 PM, even though the event ended much earlier. While I understand policies are in place, this was unexpected and felt unfair based on prior communication. One policy to be aware of is that open flames are not allowed. I was able to adjust without issue, but it's something to plan for ahead of time. Overall, the space itself is nice, but I strongly recommend getting clear, written confirmation of all fees, policies, and requirements before booking to avoid surprises.
