I stayed here for a night and received an upgrade to a suite room on 10th floor, mostly happy with my stay, the only downsides are noise from the street late night and elevator noise, also not very convenient to take elevator all the way up to check in/check out. The hotel is a short walk from the Fort Worth Center station, $2/person ride from DFW! There are orange bus at Commerce & 7th going to the Stockyard, and blue bus which is free for downtown area. There are some restaurants and an ice cream shop nearby. My room is about 600 sqft, which is very spacious for someone coming from NYC! The mini bar is fully stocked, prices are clearly listed. One large closet in the hallway and one large closet in the bedroom; yoga mat is provided in the hallway closet. One TV in the living room and one TV in the bedroom. I like that the shower room has a clear door, separating the shower and bath from toilet and vanity. There are two layers of window curtains, both privacy and black-out are taken care of. The gym is full of updated equipments. I was able to get bottled water from desk and refill my water bottle in the gym. Front desk staff were overall friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's a charming older hotel in a great area of downtown. Lots to do and see, great restaurants for any occasion. Our room was fantastic, on the 23rd floor with a great view, especially at night. The staff here all go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. This place is really a standout.

Kimpton Harper is an exceptional place to stay in Fort Worth! Perfect location overlooking Sundance Square- walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Excellent customer service, beautiful view over the square from roof top bar, nice, quaint room with lots of space. The staff was friendly and personable. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning and the complimentary coffee was excellent. We found this hotel to be charming and loved all the little extras making such a thoughtful touch to out of towners.

Nice hotel with old school charm. Interesting check-in procedure. The registration desk is on the top floor. Great views with nightly happy hour on this 24th floor. I'll say you must have patience as everything is slow at this establishment. Be ready to wait to check in if there is more than one guest at a time, if you order any services or supplies to the room, and if you need valet. So plan ahead of you're in a rush. The beds are fabulous, rooms nicely done and the extra living space made it excellent for an office set up separate from the sleeping area. The new diamond elite perks are good here offering dining credit options, free breakfast, late check out and much more. I'd stay again for sure!

Let me start by saying that the service and general aesthetics of this boutique hotel is excellent. I flew in from NY and after a long flight, checked into the Kimpton around 10:45pm. Stood on line for a few mins and was greeted by Bruce at the front desk. He's awesome. Seriously. Told me that I looked like I could use a glass of wine, walked away, and handed me a glass before he started checking me in. Swear I wanted to hug him - that's how grateful I was. He was pleasant and exuded all of the southern hospitality I hear so much about (which I'm not used to being from NY). Got to my room and it was beautiful....then I saw all of the stains on the carpet. They were gross....and everywhere - living room, bedroom, couch, even a stain on the bathroom rug. The pictures don't do it justice. I immediately called Bruce and within less than 5mins he sent security down to my room to deliver a new set of keys for a new room. If that's not ridiculously good service, I don't know what is. Headed upstairs to my new room, walked in and it was just as nice as the first room, but still plenty of gross noticeable stains on the floor. Like, everywhere - pretty disgusting, but I was way too tired at that point to switch rooms again. I was shocked and confused as to why they don't have maintenance check the rooms and clean the carpet. A carpet cleaning machine is literally a hundred bucks at Home Depot - they need to invest in one....or two. Also, the elevator takes FOREVER. I'm not kidding. I waited a full 10mins at one point and there was a line of people behind me waiting to squeeze in once it arrived. Lastly, I tried ordering room service at 3:15 and was told their kitchen is closed between 3pm and 5pm....um, ok. Had to get dressed and go out to find food - super inconvenient. So other than the slow elevators, inconvenient room service times, gross carpets and my advisory to keep your socks on while waking around, this hotel is fairly good - and so is their staff.

Love this new hotel in the vintage 1920s restored bank building! Why do I prefer Kimpton Hotels? I'm Glad you asked. - staff is excellent -facilities high end -rooms clean and comfortable and modern Anne ties (wireless speakers / casting TVs, Nespresso Machines and luxurious toiletries and robes) -NIGHTLY local wine hour 5-6p -delish breakfast included -Peloton bikes as well as full fitness area When traveling for work or business I prefer to find a Kimpton and I'm so glad to have found this one just recently opened in my area for a getaway close to home

Except they're greedy and want to screw people who have to go to the hospital or business nearby. The hotel: it's pretty clean. Parking isn't a big deal but they have a parking garage adjacent to the hotel. It said parking was free on the 3rd and 4th floor but I didn't get a chance to see if that was true. I sadly have the blue placard of hurt. So yeah, they even charge for handicapped spaces. Legal? Don't know honestly. Ethical? No freaking way. My room was clean. Nice and pretty consistent for a garden inn. Allowed you to control the fan speed and make it constant. Which was a nice surprise. The gym was the shocker. They had one ty of equipment to get in a quick workout. Not typical for Hiltons. But I'll take it. Would I stay here again? Hell. No. 15 bucks for parking without any warning. Just a surprise bill charge. I travel a lot and i'd rather stay at a Marriott property that doesn't take blatant advantage of people going to the nearby hospital. But here are some photos anyway.

The rooms were western themed, with cowboy centric art pieces, which I thought was a nice touch. The rooms also had nice amenities (mini fridge, water, coffee, etc.) which is always great. On another note, the hotel also has restaurants onsite which is a bonus. The hotel itself is beautiful and has that big, upscale Texas hotel feel. The lobby is impressive, and the bar setup is especially nice, a great spot to grab a drink and hang out in the evening. Only reason for four stars is the sheer size of the place. Be ready to walk, because getting from the parking garage to the lobby, and then from the lobby to the rooms, can feel like a bit of a trek, especially with luggage after a long game day. Overall, a very nice stay, and I would definitely come back, just mentally preparing for the steps next time.

Unfortunately, while the property itself is beautiful, my overall experience was deeply disappointing. Check-in started on a positive note. I was greeted with a glass of champagne and the front desk staff were warm and welcoming. However, things quickly went downhill from there. I was never provided a welcome letter outlining my Fine Hotels + Resorts benefits or basic hotel information. I didn't realize this until I reached my room and wanted to use some of the amenities. When I returned to the front desk to request one, I was told none were available and was directed to scan a QR code instead. The QR code only linked to the in-room dining menu and restaurant reservation pages, which was not a substitute for the information typically provided with an FHR stay. Upon arrival at my room, the staff member assisting with my luggage repeatedly called me by the wrong last name and made multiple comments about my ethnicity, including saying my name sounded Indian but that I "didn't look Indian," followed by personal questions about my background. While I believe the intent may have been friendly, it felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. The room and property are undeniably stunning, but several functional issues made the stay frustrating. All of the lights, including those in both bathrooms, appeared to be controlled by motion sensors or timers that could not be adjusted. While getting ready, the lights repeatedly turned off, forcing me to stop styling my hair and walk around the room just to trigger the sensors. This became extremely disruptive and inconvenient. Additionally, the main desk in the living room, which was the primary power source in the suite, did not work at all. After attempting to troubleshoot myself, it appeared to be broken entirely. Because this was one of the only areas with multiple outlets, I had to charge devices in random locations throughout the room. Communication with the hotel was also extremely difficult. The in-room phone repeatedly lost connectivity and died while I was attempting to place orders. I texted the hotel to report the issue, yet staff continued trying to call the malfunctioning room phone instead of my cell phone, despite me explaining the situation multiple times. Calling the hotel directly from my mobile phone often resulted in busy signals. The most frustrating part occurred after checkout. I was incorrectly charged nearly the full nightly rate despite having prepaid through American Express. When I called to resolve this, I was placed on hold for nearly 35 minutes after being told it would be brief, and no apology was offered. Although I was told the charge would be reimbursed, the refund was incomplete because my American Express breakfast and amenity credits were not properly applied. I had to call again to request an additional correction. Across their website form and multiple phone calls, I was never initially provided a folio detailing my charges. It wasn't until the third call that I spoke with Sarah, who was exceptionally helpful. She went out of her way to email me a PDF folio and personally coordinate the remaining reimbursement. She was the only team member who truly resolved the situation, and I greatly appreciated her professionalism. This was my first visit to Texas, which I noted in my reservation, and I had hoped for recommendations or guidance from the hotel, especially given the Fine Hotels + Resorts experience, but none were offered. It's genuinely disappointing because the Crescent is a beautiful property with so much potential. However, between the service issues, operational problems, billing errors, and lack of follow-through, this was easily my worst Fine Hotels + Resorts experience to date. Considering the price point and expectations associated with this program, the experience ultimately felt frustrating and not reflective of luxury hospitality standards. I truly wish I could have loved this stay.
