Kicked off the weekend with a staycation. Completely wowed from the moment we pulled up to valet. Greeted with a glass of champagne, check in took just a few minutes- key in hand & up to our room we go! Gorgeous room, mood setting lighting both in the main room & in bathroom (shower in the dark with a hint of pink light? Yes, please!) We dropped our bags & headed downstairs to walk around Sundance Square, steps away you have live music, vendors & quite a few restaurants & bars. Dinner reservations at 9pm @wickedbutcher, so we just snacked light. Came across @hopscotchsundancesquare, grabbed a Tajín Fruit Cup & an aqua Fresca. Checked out the hotel amenities, back to our room to relax a bit and get ready for dinner.

Such a stunning hotel inside and out! From the lobby to the rooftop bar, just beautiful!!! We picked the Sinclair for our honeymoon hotel. We got married downtown at the courthouse and found this gem of spot to take our post wedding pictures, have some champagne and stay a few nights. Our room was very clean, modern, and spacious. We slept comfortably and peacefully. Utilized the Nespresso maker every morning which was much better than brewed coffee. The hotel was super convenient as we did a few things downtown and were able to walk around easily. Would love to return for a few nights!

Really great service from the valets! Helpful and friendly in every way. Hotel was nice. However, very disappointed with no view from room 312. Toilet fills with water very slowly. Room has automated lights and the shower has lights etc., but yet they provide a crappy hair dryer. Liked the coffee maker in the room. Just wish you had stevia. Hall at night could be noisy but I made sure to bring my ear plugs. Bed was not the most comfortable but ok. Cleaning service came so late that we were already back in our room so it did not get cleaned. Brisket & egg tacos were good at Wicked Butcher but restaurant bar wall is filthy. Girls at hostess station were ok but one girl was not nice. Kim was a great server. Sourdough toast was great with butter and jelly!

Anytime I have an opportunity to stay at a hotel within the Autograph Collection, I do so happily knowing they're the among the upper echelon of the (now) Marriott brand. The Sinclair, located in downtown Fort Worth, is one of those hotels that has a little bit of everything: convenience, restaurants, and a posh yet local feel with plenty of amenities to boot. I was extremely happy with how clean everything was. A spotless lobby with that fresh scent permeating the air, excellent public restrooms, a well maintained elevator, and even better rooms. I was also quite pleased with the hotel staff, who aside from checking me in, was able to give me last minute accommodations based on my room preferences. The average rate here fluctuates from $170-350 a night. My room was small, stylish, and had a great view of downtown Fort Worth. I really appreciated the high tech amenities, which included automated curtains, a super nice TV, and a luxurious marble bathroom decked out with a smart mirror, shower, and toilet. More importantly, I loved my bed and the ventilation was perfect during my entire stay. Everything is boutique small, which includes their 24 hour gym and even their conference rooms. They had a seasonal rooftop, but I didn't get a chance to visit. I did also enjoy a visit to their cocktail lounge, Wicked Bar, and their downstairs restaurant, Wicked Butcher. Parking is valet but beware that they've had issues with putting the cars in unauthorized garages that result in parking tickets by the city. Street parking is encouraged if possible, which if staying midweek, shouldn't be too much of a hassle since the downtown area is quiet in the evening. I enjoyed my stay here overall and would happily consider it again. Even if I wasn't a seasoned Bonvoy member, I'd still recommend folks who are looking for a little more of an upscale feel without breaking the bank to consider The Sinclair.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to stay here again! The Sinclair is conveniently located in downtown Fort Worth, and is super close to all the main attractions and restaurants you can think of. The hotel itself is so beautiful. The thought they put behind the decor, design and everything is impeccable. Also, the most fun/impressive thing about my stay was the digital mirror and digital shower! I was so sad to go back home to my regular music-less boring mirror. The staff at the hotel was also super nice, and gave us a couple recommendations for places to go during our stay. Another very important thing is that The Sinclair has one of the best steakhouses in Fort Worth (so yummy); definitely a must during your stay! Last but not least is their breakfast menu. Please do yourself a favor and order one of their breakfast sandwiches during your stay here - they are delicious.

Beautiful place. Sweet staff except for when someone dropped the ball on communication in that we were granted a 5pm checkout due to our Ambassador status yet we had to explain 2 times and argue once with the person that just came in the clock that kept saying we had a 2pm checkout which was never the case. Housekeeping knocked on our door twice and likely ran and told them to kick us out so get your marbles lined up there. Other than the staff the room was gorgeous and a nice view of Main St. across the street from Mi Cocina which is where we ate and walked around the corner to CVS to get more wine. Great bar here too but not a great wine selection.

Overall a good place to hangout and stay for a night. The beds and pillows are so damn uncomfortable I wouldn't risk your back or sanity any longer. Everything in the room is smart from the lights, windows, shower and mirror. Art Deco and mid century modern is the design and all floors are so heavily perfumed the my can compete with those sections in dept stores. Rooftop bar with views of the Ft Worth skyline and an effin delicious restaurant "Whisky Butcher" in the basement.

    17th floor rooftop bar view.

Lovely hotel downtown Ft Worth. Staff was super courteous and hotel clean and comfortable. Luxurious feel without the price tag! Also, it is literally walking distance to most downtown attractions. Rooftop bar with beautiful skyline view!

With a few new Hotels opening in Fort Worth since covid began, we opted to do a staycation and spend a night at The Sinclair. The Sinclair is truly one of Fort Worth's most unique hotels. The namesake of the hotel is for the 30's art-deco building which was built by the Sinclair Corporation and due to these stylish roots, it is a bit of a time capsule. Locked away from public eyes due to its function as an office space for decades, we see now this beautifully preserved hotel in all its art-deco splendor, metal fixtures, granite and all. One thing I found striking about the hotel was that while the hallways and foyer looked relatively untouched from the 30's, once inside your room, everything is modern and high-tech. A fun juxtaposition, mixing the old and the new as in your room you have smart switches to manage your lighting and even the lighting and water temp in your bathroom, which also has a display behind the mirror to show you the weather. The Sinclair also features one of Fort Worth's few downtown rooftop bars and the view here is second-to-none (especially with Reata potentially moving) and warrants a visit just for a drink. Given its close proximity to Sundance Square, I think The Sinclair definitely warrants a visit for tourists and locals alike and provides an atmosphere that most hotels here simply cannot replicate.

The condom wrapper. I would have been annoyed but moved on if my 4 and 6 year old daughters hadn't found it!

I wanted to rate this hotel higher. It's in a perfect location, the beds are comfy, and the high-tech features (bathroom mirror is basically a computer, you can choose LED backlighting for the shower) are unique. HOWEVER - we came on a mini vacation with our two young girls. Our hotel room had poop smeared on the inside of the toilet, there was debris in the corners of the bathroom, and worst of all -- my girls were playing with their toys on the floor between the two beds and FOUND A CONDOM WRAPPER. Completely unacceptable!!! I went downstairs and showed the employee the picture of the condom wrapper on the floor and requested a deep clean of the room or a new room, and asked to speak with the manager. She was very very nice about it, said the situation was unacceptable. A few hours later we came back up to the room and the room had been cleaned but not deep cleaned. The poop was still in the toilet! I was so disappointed. The next day we checked out and the person checking us out didn't mention the incident or offer any apologies, discounts, etc. I had to mention it and they took valet parking off but said since we prepaid on a credit card they couldn't adjust the price. She said she'd have the manager contact me about the experience so we'll see what happens. I don't think I'll adjust the stars even if they end up comping a night - I get that bad things happen and I don't expect a perfect experience every time I go somewhere. I DO expect management to care and react promptly. Their lackadaisical response shows me they don't need customers like me in the future

Such a charming boutique hotel! Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. They do offer valet parking for some sort of crazy $35 a night or something. The people working their reception are were very welcoming. So many old details in this hotel that make it charming! In the halls on the room floors where there used to be water fountains they made them into phones. Our room was clean and crisp. With very minimal modern decor. My favorite experience of this hotel was the shower! On the mirrors by the sinks were music channels you can personalize that also showed weather etc. the actual shower itself had temperature controlled water allowing you to adjust to your perfect fit! Different colors to set your mood i think i chose blue on mine then lastly you can have regular overhead where the water comes out or rainfall option! Their blackout curtains work like a charm let me tell you i never sleep in but did here!

I love this hotel! It's part of the autograph collection of Marriott Bonvoy. And if there's something I learned is that when you're in doubt on which hotel to choose, choose one from the Autograph collection. This is art deco meets luxury. The modern ambiance accentuated by mood lighting in the bathroom/ shower, digital control for the shower temperature and window blinds that you can program for ambient/romantic setting or sunrise.

There is a small seating area, Starbucks vendor with some snacks, and is connected to a restaurant. Checking into the room was very quick too. The fitness center is very nice with a variety of cardio machines (and a Peloton!), weight rack, and cable machine. There are also yoga mats, water, and towels available inside. The buffet breakfast was very good too. They had a ton of options and a rotating selection of foods. There is also a chef available to prepare omelettes, breakfast bowls, pancakes, bacon, and a bunch of other things! The rooms are very spacious. I do like that the bedroom is completely separated from the living area. There are TVs in both spaces and it's pretty sound proof between the two. In the living area, there is a large desk and chair, couch, padded chair, sink, mini fridge, and microwave. Our room has two queen beds which were comfortable. The comforters were a little thin but nothing intolerable. The AC units were easy to use and adjusted to temperature changes quickly. I was happy to find some extra pillows in the wardrobe. The only strange thing about the room setup that I wasn't fond of was the bathroom sink. The sink was inside of the bedroom instead of the bathroom itself. You couldn't really do anything at the sink without disturbing someone who is sleeping since the lights shine directly at the bed. I was a bit disappointed with the parking situation. It is valet only. It is a little difficult to get situated with the parking since the valet location is on a one-way street. If you're using GPS to get there, you may need to spin the block a few times to get on the right side of the hotel. I did like, however, that the valet service provided a card where we can virtually request the car to be pulled out whenever we'd like. I would definitely stay here again!

They had us sit in the lobby of the hotel for a few minutes while they finished setting up the tables, which was a little odd. Eventually, we were all called up by individual parties and seated. There was only one server, so things moved very slowly, although she was hustling as much as she could. The food was hit or miss, but I did appreciate that they could accommodate with vegetarian options, even if they weren't all particularly excellent. You are served one small pot of tea each and expected to make that last through the entire event. I thought this was especially stingy and was very disappointed that they did not refill your pot. The ambience was also just okay. We were all kept in close quarters, which meant that the loud party next to us was pretty disruptive. I wish that they had spaced out all out a little more to give everyone some room. Overall, I think the price is too high for the quality of the experience. As someone who has done high tea across the globe, the Ashton's ranks pretty low on my list. For the cost per person, I was expecting a little more of a luxe experience.

From the moment we arrived we had the absolute best from their amazing and friendly staff. Brian the valet greeted us before we had even brought the car to a stop (more on him in just a bit) and had a luggage cart brought over to us immediately. From there we were greeted with the biggest warmest smile from Cassius, the bellhop, within the 20 steps we took from valet to the front desk we witnessed 3 guests who were departing either shake his hand or hug him to tell him thank you for making their experience so enjoyable. By the end of our stay we would feel the exact same way. Anytime we had the pleasure of running into Cassius he always kept that contagious smile on his face, remembered what the purpose of our trip was, and answered any questions we had with excitement and thoughtfulness in his answers. Our room, a suite, was extremely clean, had a great layout and wonderful amenities. Our bed was comfortable, linens were soft, pillows felt new, and the showers water pressure was adequate. The main things we look for when staying somewhere. After unpacking we went downstairs to meet friends at the bar who were also staying in town for the weekend. Our bartender Vince and our waitress Mia were awesome. We all had such a great experience with them we spent the rest of our evenings during our stay there enjoying cocktails rather than going out as we had previously planned. Cassius had made us aware of the car service during one of our conversations but we didn't expect much as most hotels "offer" the same service but never seem to have availability when needed. Not the case at the Crescent! As we stepped out for dinner we were about to summon an uber when Brian came jogging up, Brian is never standing still and always moving at a brisk pace, he asked if we were heading out for the evening and would we be needing the hotel transportation. I told him we already had reservations so I didn't think we would have time. He was on the phone before I could finish my sentence and quickly made us aware a car would be showing up momentarily to take us. When the car arrived a young man by the name of Momen, forgive me if I spelled that incorrectly, hopped out to greet us. From there on out Momen dropped us off and picked us up from every event we had planned for the entirety of our stay. Momen was very soft spoken, well mannered, and never let anything get under his skin while hauling us all over downtown on a busy stock show weekend. The Crescent should be proud of their beautiful building, great location, wonderful rooms but should be more proud of accomplishing something that very few hotels ever do, a wonderful team of employees. Not one employee ever showed an ounce of displeasure in doing their jobs, that is something I have never witnessed in all my travels. Cassius, Brian, Momen, Vince, Mia, and the rest of your staff is what has earned my business along with I'm sure many more other guests. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend of laughs and memories!

I booked my stay at the Crescent Hotel in Fort Worth through the American Express Fine Hotels +…read moreResorts program and had very high expectations. Unfortunately, while the property itself is beautiful, my overall experience was deeply disappointing. Check-in started on a positive note. I was greeted with a glass of champagne and the front desk staff were warm and welcoming. However, things quickly went downhill from there. I was never provided a welcome letter outlining my Fine Hotels + Resorts benefits or basic hotel information. I didn't realize this until I reached my room and wanted to use some of the amenities. When I returned to the front desk to request one, I was told none were available and was directed to scan a QR code instead. The QR code only linked to the in-room dining menu and restaurant reservation pages, which was not a substitute for the information typically provided with an FHR stay. Upon arrival at my room, the staff member assisting with my luggage repeatedly called me by the wrong last name and made multiple comments about my ethnicity, including saying my name sounded Indian but that I "didn't look Indian," followed by personal questions about my background. While I believe the intent may have been friendly, it felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. The room and property are undeniably stunning, but several functional issues made the stay frustrating. All of the lights, including those in both bathrooms, appeared to be controlled by motion sensors or timers that could not be adjusted. While getting ready, the lights repeatedly turned off, forcing me to stop styling my hair and walk around the room just to trigger the sensors. This became extremely disruptive and inconvenient. Additionally, the main desk in the living room, which was the primary power source in the suite, did not work at all. After attempting to troubleshoot myself, it appeared to be broken entirely. Because this was one of the only areas with multiple outlets, I had to charge devices in random locations throughout the room. Communication with the hotel was also extremely difficult. The in-room phone repeatedly lost connectivity and died while I was attempting to place orders. I texted the hotel to report the issue, yet staff continued trying to call the malfunctioning room phone instead of my cell phone, despite me explaining the situation multiple times. Calling the hotel directly from my mobile phone often resulted in busy signals. The most frustrating part occurred after checkout. I was incorrectly charged nearly the full nightly rate despite having prepaid through American Express. When I called to resolve this, I was placed on hold for nearly 35 minutes after being told it would be brief, and no apology was offered. Although I was told the charge would be reimbursed, the refund was incomplete because my American Express breakfast and amenity credits were not properly applied. I had to call again to request an additional correction. Across their website form and multiple phone calls, I was never initially provided a folio detailing my charges. It wasn't until the third call that I spoke with Sarah, who was exceptionally helpful. She went out of her way to email me a PDF folio and personally coordinate the remaining reimbursement. She was the only team member who truly resolved the situation, and I greatly appreciated her professionalism. This was my first visit to Texas, which I noted in my reservation, and I had hoped for recommendations or guidance from the hotel, especially given the Fine Hotels + Resorts experience, but none were offered. It's genuinely disappointing because the Crescent is a beautiful property with so much potential. However, between the service issues, operational problems, billing errors, and lack of follow-through, this was easily my worst Fine Hotels + Resorts experience to date. Considering the price point and expectations associated with this program, the experience ultimately felt frustrating and not reflective of luxury hospitality standards. I truly wish I could have loved this stay.
