What a surprise finding this whole in the wall at midnight on a Sunday night! We were looking for a late bite after a concert and wanted to try something different. The photos don't do it justice but yall got to get this dharma and fries! It hit every note of wanting something hearty, flavorful, and fried. It even came with a drink and side of pickled veggies! I'm so glad I decided to try something new. Come by y'all!

First time here and the shawarma is just perfect taste, so well made, the fries too wow, i give this a 10/10, yall gotta go try it, very clean, great service, great price very nice guy, thank you Kimo !

Little gem, you can smell it from outside. Its tucked away inside Al Baraka Restaurant. Yes it's legit, had both chicken and beef shawarma, comes with tahini, garlic dip, you can sit inside and outside. They were so quick to make and serve our food, the wrap is thin the meat was lean, servers were all helpful. You can also order from both menus, fresh mint tea too.

I've been coming to this spot for a couple of months now and I completely forgot about giving this restaurant a review till now. The food is a 10/10 and easily the best bang for your buck. I remember when I first came to eat the food after finding this spot randomly on google maps, the man running the front was very welcoming and friendly. I remember talking to him and he told me he works every night, so right off the bat I could tell that he is a hard worker who cares about his restaurant. This place is open till after midnight which is something that is quite rare and a blessing. If you're ever in the area or looking for a good place for shawarma then you should definitely check this place out.

This shwarma spot is the definition of a hidden gem. It's tucked on the edge of a restaurant in a busy plaza and is probably the juiciest shawarma I've had in a hot minute. At $17 for a plate it was bit on the pricier side but I think it's worth it due to the generous meat ratio. It's safe to say that I'll for sure be back when in town :) read more

We were looking for a late night snack on a rainy day and saw this place was open! PARKING: It's a plaza with theoretically a lot of parking, but somehow we ran into trouble trying to find spots - all of them were filled on a weekday night! Perhaps there was some event there though. WHAT I ORDERED: Chicken shawarma combo THE FOOD: SO GOOD! It's a pretty good portion - you get two of them along with sauces and pickled veggies. The meat was very well seasoned, the sauces (one was garlic and one was a spicier sauce) were good, and we were full after. SERVICE: The owner was SO nice and you could tell he was proud of his food. It wasn't too long of a wait, but perhaps this was because we came on a rainy weekday night - not sure how long the wait typically is if you go on a weekend. VIBES: This place is inside Al Baraka so there's some seating on their half of the restaurant. Definitely great to go with friends as we did, or with a group/family. BOTTOM LINE: I will be back! Had to look for something to eat right into midnight after leaving an event. Found this place was open till 2am so wanted to give it a shot. You could see the food cooking soon as you pulled up in front. The server was very helpful and friendly and working really hard with 1 disabled leg. Got the lamb combo plate which included a lab shawarma, fries, and a soda for $18. We sat inside at any available table and the food was delivered to us. It was quiet with 2 families eating. The shawarma was tasty but a tad dry and spices were light. However the secret sauce and tahini sauce made up for that difference. Parking was rough in the location as many stores were open late night and was a very small parking lot. Overall it was a convenient food service that reflected itself in its prices. read more

Came here the other day with my fiancé craving a late night meal. We found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. Kimo Shawarma is a stand outside of the Al Baraka Restaurant that served us absolutely delicious food. Our orders were taken quickly and our food was out just as fast. Some of the best shawarma you can eat. Price is very reasonable. He is a little busy after midnight but he still gets order out fast. When you arrive look for the Barakah restaurant, they are the left door to the same place. The chicken shawarma was made quick and was fresh off the grill. Someone nearby us had a birthday, and a group of staff came out with a dessert, blasting a traditional birthday song over the speakers and encouraged the whole restaurant to clap along! Despite the large gatherings, the restaurant is a no-reservation spot. They have a covered patio outside to seat an overflow of customers in case. Thankfully, my boyfriend and I were seated right away. They had a contactless menu, and we scanned a QR code to check our food options, but a server took our order and offered great recommendations once we waved him down.
