I am from a family of contractors, so, I can confidently say that I am familiar with the habits of…read moregood contractors and bad. John Rosa is a contractor that you will want to work with. We struggled even getting people out to come give us bids on our project. We needed to turn an old cattle barn into a horse barn and it was going to involve concrete work, demolition, and construction. John immediately returned my call, arrived to do the bid on time, and was a pleasure to work with from there on out. After meeting the other guys that came out to do bids, we knew as soon as we met John that we'd use him to get the work done. John gave us a bid for a huge project and actually came in under budget when the thing was done. He helped me work with the stall door company to figure out what we needed and what would be the best use of our budget. Even the stall door company was impressed and told me they were happy I was using him since he told them he always read the directions! One thing I cannot stress enough is how efficient these guys were. The subcontractors were phenomenal. Dennis did the concrete and knocked out 80' worth of concrete stantion feeders in a day. (Full apologies to Dennis AGAIN for not moving the stall mats beforehand. He was a gent and did it for us.) The demo folks came out and knocked out a garage that was built into the barn in just over a day. A GARAGE - I'm talking walls and a full set of stairs to access overhead storage. Then there was John and JT. We had five 10' x 16' stalls that were put up in less than ten days. When the stall door company ultimately caused delays and problems in keeping the project on time, John was completely understanding and worked with us to keep us on track to have stalls before the rain came. Every day we came home, serious progress had been made towards the end result. It turned the project into something to be excited about rather than something to stress over. And here's the other thing - I have animals. Lots of them. It's a serious concern for me to have people out at our property when I'm not there to manage our herd of minor and major livestock. John and JT not only kept a watchful eye on my horses (temporarily housed just outside the construction), but even developed a lasting friendship with our resident chicken. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to work on your project and around your family. This a straight-laced, professional operation. If you've got any kind of job you need done, don't waste your time with anyone else. Just call John. We're already calling them back to do additional work!

The initial consult was professionally conducted, and we were happy to sign right then and there to get things moving. Everything, start to finish, went like clockwork. Communication was good, cleanliness was maintained from demo to last touches, and the employees were top of the line in their professionalism. We had Aleksei Alaev do the construction and installation work and he was just the best. Handled everything really well, and his work is top shelf. Clean lines everywhere, nothing rushed or half-done. Highly recommend anyone thinking of a bathroom remodel - call Rose! Edited to add photograph and also add that we did the painting ourselves, after Rose's team were done. So any imperfections in the paint are on us! LOL PS: We call this room the Bath Cave because it was built into one part of a framed in porch on our very old (1890) house. The window is just for light and will be covered with a privacy film too.

Super disappointed to leave this review but this company did exactly what I told them face to face…read moreat the home show - I didn't like about other companies I've recently experienced- they come out, take measurements, sell you on what they offer and then ghost you! Would not recommend Rose Remodeling - we met with this company at the Home show and set up an appointment- the sales rep (Eric) came out on the 4th in the evening, took measurements, we went over what we wanted and he said he would get us an estimate - haven't heard a peep - don't waste your time as they will waste yours and not communicate - he also kept saying "this is going to be expensive" without even knowing our budget. My husband was concerned that the sales guy didnt act like he knew what he was doing when talking through what we wanted, measuring - then we sat our our table for 15 minutes while he scrolled home depot site showing us shower heads -- I told him he could just send us something as I was losing patience -- so he said he would send us an estimate and left - that was 10 days ago - not an email saying working on it, not a can't do it -- nothing. I appreciate small businesses and want to support them but not to my time and expense. I also understand (from my past experince being a home show participant) that there may be an influx of sales calls, etc..however that is not an excuse for zero communcations after an inperson sales meeting. Poor leadership, sales and attention to detail which unfortunately for the team doing the work could cause more problems. Recommend to owners to be honest - if your sales team doesn't want to do the work or can't - just say so - don't say you're going to do something and never deliver!!! Also, why waste your money at the home show if this is how your sales team operates? If they don't communicate before the project, imagine the lack of communication during the project!!! RED FLAGS! I'm leaving two stars as the sales rep did provide a good picture of work Rose has done in the past that now I can use to show other companies what I want.
