His office staff is very professional. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. A little over a year ago, I had an infection and the pain was unbearable. I called his office for an emergency appointment. He was out of town, however, his receptionist told me she would try to reach him and call me back. I just knew she was going to tell me to go to the ER or Urgent Care. He called himself within 30 minutes and asked me to describe my symptoms. He called in an antibiotic and told me to come in when he returned. That's a winner for me

I ended up getting a second opinion, and the other dentist confirmed that my diagnosis was significantly overblown. They also discovered that a crown I had done here wasn't fitted properly. There was another negative review by someone else about Dr. Adams and his use of the DNA appliance, and that also appears to have been removed. I hope people don't rely solely on Google reviews. According to another reviewer, her negative review was removed there and followed immediately by a stellar review. Here, again, is my review. I was oversold on the DNA appliance by Dr. Gary Adams. It cost $10K, and made no visible change -- which is what I came to him for. My back teeth are somewhat better aligned, but I never would have paid for that since I had no functional issues. He never told me that this appliance is used exclusively for people with sleep apnea and TMJ, neither of which I have. (His website at the time I sought treatment didn't indicate this either; it focused on the appliance's ability to grow bone.) I used the appliance exactly as prescribed -- I was trying to correct a slight underbite -- and it did absolutely nothing. My smile and bite look exactly like they did before. I hope this review keeps other people from making the same mistake I did.

As you can see in the right photo, my smile is much wider and less "gummy" looking. Another thing I've noticed is that my voice has gotten deeper and and my vocal range broader (I'm a singer) since wearing it...Of course I can't say for sure it's the appliance, but I've heard of similar results in other people. When scheduling my wisdom tooth removal I was told I would be under Anastasia and as well as when I…read moregot there on the day my tooth was going to be removed. About an hour before my removal they bring in pills and say this is a pill form of anesthesia (that is not a thing). My body doesn't take medicine very well and I always need a high dose of any medication I take and after the first set of meds he gave me didn't work and I was still completely awake he brings in more. Was not told the name of anything but was told it's Anastasia in pill form. I was awake for all of it because I was not giving any form of Anastasia and was given sleeping medicine. I am on sleeping medicine because I have ADHD and it take forever for me to sleep at night. The dr that prescribes my sleeping medicine stopped it and told me it sounds like you where actually overdosed on what ever medication they gave you and now my body goes back into that state of shock when I take any form of sleeping medicin. I called about 4 days after the surgery saying sum is wrong and was guilt tripped for 45 minutes. I can't drink Gatorade with the stomach issues and GERD I have. I went to the hospital for throwing up for three days straight and popping my stitches and the dentist said drink Gatorade. It settles Your stomach because of the surgery drink it is. Explaining I can't drink dyed drinks of any kind and especially not red he just kept saying drink Gatorade. Trying to word it differently and doing anything I could go maybe get him to understand I can't he just kept talking over me. Also later on told me it was sleeping medicine I was given and not what I paid for. In the parking lot the day I got my tooth out the receptionist was very rough and mad my wife needed help and more gauze because I threw up and grabbed my face n jammed my jaw shut. When my wife talked to her to ask a question she walked away and wouldn't answer her question if they have a throw up bag for the ride home. Terrible place and terrible owner.

But I got a second opinion and that dentist, doing further tests, confirmed that the cavity could be filled. Left me wondering why this dentist did not do the additional tests, which consisted of an x-ray and a cold test - nothing fancy - before concluding that the tooth needed to be pulled and replaced with an implant.

Afterwards, Dr. Fishman had an adjustment to make in her routine that will save time and effort in the future. Before my retirement I had occasion to observe many "busy professionals" criticize assistants. I was so impressed how, in the most gentle, polite yet serious and non-intimidating manner Dr. Fishman accomplished this, that I felt compelled to mention it here. In 2020, I received major dental work here and Dr. Nicholas and the dental team did a good job…read more Because they did a good job the first time, I maxed out my dental benefits for the whole year with them. Fine. Somehow, the insurance company did not pay them directly (has never happened in 5 years Ive had this insurance) and so I ended up owing them $651. Due to the pandemic I ended up experiencing a financial hardship but I scrounged to pay them what I could which was $600 (the business manager who contacted me was super rude but whatever). Last month, without receiving any reminders about the remaining bill they sent the $51 to collections. Imagine that: After getting at least $4,000 from me, they send a $51 bill to collections during a pandemic when folks like me are still recovering. They are good in dental work but a little ruthless in business.
