I don't usually write reviews, but I had my wisdom teeth removed here. Let me just say... WOW. The staff is super friendly and walked me through step-by-step of what would happen and prescribed the appropriate medication. The consolation alone took an hour but they were extremely thorough and offered a peppermint wash kit which absolutely helped with the swelling! When it came to removal day (I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out) they were super reassuring and I don't even remember when they put the IV in and took it out! The healing process took about a week in terms of stitches dissolving. The only thing that really hurt the most was my jaw, but that heals over time like any other muscle. They even had me book an appointment a week later to check on everything. This team knows what they are doing and are super friendly! If anyone needs their wisdom teeth removed I couldn't suggest a better dentist than this place! Thank you!! read more

I was the designated driver for my best friend when I visited this business. The staff is extremely friendly and the waiting room is comfortable. A comfort menu is available for patients and guests and the decor has a lovely sea glass spa feel. Parking is available and the fee is reasonable. Today was my first visit go Waterfront Dental and I believe this is the dental office for me. I came in after getting no real answers on why I was in pain and blindly sent out for a root canal at another dentist. I called yesterday and was able to be seen today with no issues. My temperature was checked when I walked in and I was given hand sanitizer. Jonica is a rockstar BTW because she was on it with everything from my phone call to my check-in. My hygienist (and I'm sorry I can't remember her name right now) was very nice and cares about my comfort while getting my x-rays. She relayed my concerns to Dr. M perfectly. I appreciated being listened to and educated on why one might need certain procedures. We did some testing today on my problem area to determine next best steps and I like the approach. I was also educated on what would need to happen if I chose to do something about another tooth that isn't bothering me. So far, I appreciate the time, transparency, and care taken to ensure longevity of my teeth. The timeline for my procedure was given and I am scheduled. I've been going here about 4 years now. Dr. M and all of the staff are very nice, professional, and friendly. Dr. M always explains things clearly. I was a few years behind on routine dental care when I first saw her, and she got my teeth and gums back in good shape with an intensified cleaning schedule. Made me feel really at ease. When they offer things that are optional (e.g. fancy new imaging techniques, fluoride treatments, etc), they are very transparent about price prior to treatment, which I appreciate. Easy to schedule appointments. The appointment reminder texts and emails are a bit excessive, but I assume it's because people no show frequently. Overall, great dental office! read more

Dr. Merguerian is the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. M and her team are phenomenal, especially Kelly, and I'm so glad I took my time to find the right dental practice for me. I have had teeth cleaning, extractions, a root canal, a bridge, and we're finishing up 2 implants in the coming months! I'm so excited to have my smile back after years of dental issues. I have severe dental anxiety and Dr. M and her team put me at ease. I've had sedation therapy 3 times and it's well worth the price. I recommend Waterfront Dental to all of my friends. One friend was convinced she would need sedation therapy for her work. Dr. M and her team were able to put her at such ease she didn't need it. They also offer other comfort measures such as weighted blankets, music, and they provide a comforting environment. I have sensory issues and they are very cognizant of my sensory needs. Going as far as shutting the music off, offering me end of day appointment spots when it's quieter, and checking in every step of the way during procedures especially when introducing different textures from supplies used (gauze and I are not friends). Dr. M, as a person, is an amazing individual. I let my anxiety get the best of me and left her practice after something happened that was completely out of her control. She graciously welcomed me back as a patient even after I used some choice words in an unfair negative review (I have since deleted). About 6 months later my tooth pain lead me to go elsewhere and the dentist talked negatively about me. She (other dentist) made fun of my sensory issues in the hallway where I could hear her. Dr. M was appalled that this happened to me. Dr. M and her team went out of their way to welcome me back and lead by example that everyone deserves respect as a patient despite their anxieties or other diagnoses. I will forever be grateful and humbled by being welcomed back to her practice. TL/DR you won't find a better dentist if you have dental anxiety or sensory issues. read more

If you like waiting weeks for an appointment and doing your own insurance investigation/pre-determination, paying upfront for everything, and trying to get reimbursements from the insurance company, then Waterfront is the place to go. Sure, the office looks nice, but I don't trust them - especially when they pass the administrative costs (time and energy) of finding out whether and how much of a procedure is covered by insurance on to their patients, who are already stressed enough dealing with the pain and anxiety associated with said procedures. Spend the money to hire or train staff to do the hardest part of medicine: billing and insurance, don't make the patient do that. That's a questionable business practice, at best - malpractice, at worst. read more

Shout out to this highly professional, top tier, woman owned and women ran practice!! This field is typically saturated with male dominance but Waterfront Dental is here changing the narrative. I love everything about this place and the staff. Hospitality is phenomenal! Covid safety measures are superb. That alone would be enough but to add the cherry on top, my experience at every appointment so far has been honest, preventative, and transparent. Usually dentists work quietly noting the things they need to do in the future...not at Waterfront Dental! They show you live video footage of your mouth while talking with you about the things the see before discussing treatment plans and beyond. I really don't see myself finding a new dentist any time soon! read more

This is legit the worlds best dentist. I've always been afraid of the dentist but now I actually enjoy going because waterfront is so nice. They have a whole comfort menu with snacks, blankets, etc. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They also offer sedation which is really nice. Dr. M is super cool too. read more

Dr. Merguerian is a talented and thoughtful dentist. I became a patient when I had a dental emergency and she was able to see me the next day. She is a very warm dentist who makes sure that you're not in any discomfort and explains everything she's doing while under her care. She won't make you feel rushed, she takes her time with you and always asks if you have any questions. She even offered to give me my dental imprints as souvenirs after my procedure. Score! She follows up with an email after a few days/weeks to make sure everything is going well. The one time I did have an issue, I was quickly scheduled to come back in for an adjustment and it was at no cost to me. I appreciate her dedication to my oral health and making sure I was happy with her services. I've since gone back for my routine cleanings and have recommended her to several others in need of a great dentist. When going to Dr. Merguerian, I don't have the same anxieties as other dentists. She truly is talented in what she does and tries her best to get you comfortable. Waterfront Dental was the best dental experience I ever had in the Baltimore area. The staff is so friendly, the professionals are great and well-trained. I have been to many dentists before, but Waterfront Dental is by far the best one. Dr. Merguerian was super calm, she explained the procedure to me, and made sure that I was comfortable and confident. The facility is extremely clean and well-maintained. High-tech equipment. Highly recommended. The only con is that they announced that they are going out of network with my Dental Insurance provider, which made me sad. read more

She clearly explains each step of the exam and cleaning and uses technology to make the experience transparent and stress-free. Really really great experience. I absolutely hate dentists and this is the best appointment I ever had. They were punctual and THOROUGH and cared about your experience. I've never had a dentist give me a tool to hold my jaw open so it would get tired or show me my x-rays on a screen above my head and actually go through causes and whatnot with me. Highly recommend! I have been seeing Dr Merguerian, since November. I have been hearing about her work, for about a decade. And, finally, I have insurance that will cover her work. First off, I have had a lot of dental trauma. I had a lot of bad work done in my twenties. Now that I'm in my forties, I have had a lot of structural breakdown, of those fillings/crowns. I have now had 1 cleaning, and two crown preps performed. I've had a total of 6 visits. I LOVE the work. I feel very little anxiety, about it, which is not my usual. I am welcomed by Day when I arrive. I am tended to, and reassured. I trust the doctor, and I do not feel that I would ever be taken advantage of. She is thorough and explains things well. The assistant, the tech, and hygienist, have all be wonderful. If I ever lose my insurance, and I can afford to, I will pay out-of-pocket. Never thought I would rave about a dentist. Also, Dr M is just plain cool. I always dig the soundtrack, they play actual music and are not afraid to put on interesting tunes. read more

Everyone was so nice, from the front desk, the dental assistant, to the dentist herself. I felt very comfortable the entire time. Extremity poor dental office, operated incompetently....took one month to get scheduled initial visit after call 3 calls. Canceled for not acceptable reason and refused to rescheduled. Made false porcedure promise and never had the intention to fulfill. Billed after Dawn M. agreed not to bill for fall below standard service. Fraudulently bill twice as it should not bill at first place. Stay away.... read more
