I have called 5+ times, and every time I've waited 20+ minutes for no one to answer. Doesn't matter what day, what time of hour, there is genuinely no way of contacting the dental office. You website doesn't even list an email to send Xrays to. Inner Harbor better not bill me for an appointment that I've tried to cancel months in advance. Can someone go check and see whether the office is still open? All I see are the Inner Harbor AI chatbots replying to people in Yelp and Google reviews. read more

I was a new customer. Made my appointment in March, the 1st opening was April 23rd. Sounded like the answering service was in India, but got it done. I arrived early at 12:30 for my 1pm appt. because I suspected there would be forms to fill out. They handed me a tablet that needed a charge, but I got it done in low energy mode. There were 2 people before me and 5 came in after me. They were ALL called back before me! So after waiting 45 min. I asked what was going on and they assured me it would just be a few more minutes. 5 minutes later I was ushered back for a series of 13 X-rays that were painful and I'm not a wimp. I have a high tolerance to pain. Then back to the 2nd room and waited another 20 minutes! The tech that came in introduced herself from over my right shoulder. Never saw her face. She put a bib on me and poked around for a minute & looked at my X-rays & said I would need 2 crowns on "3 & 15" but that wouldn't happen today, this would just be a cleaning today. So I waited another 10 minutes. (by now it's 2:50) and another tech comes in to announce (over my right shoulder) that we're out of time so the cleaning will have to wait for the next appt. I said "I think we're done here - raise the chair please." And as I was getting up I was instructed to return to the reception area for check out. I knew this would rob me of another 15minutes so I quietly walked out. My appointment was with Dr. Juan Loyola and I never saw him. All the staff were women - not that there's anything wrong with that but they were over booked and I cannot recommend this practice to ANYONE! read more

I feel guilty recommending this dentist to many coworkers afters seeing what they've become. I suspect management has changed as this is NOT what it used to be when I started 7 years ago. Constant inaccurate billing followed by rude and aggressive staff when questioned about it, hygienists who reek of cigarettes, lack of transparency with what they're performing when it comes to coverage... the list goes on. read more

These people are crooks. They continue to change insurance codes so they can charge me out of pocket for services that "aren't covered". I went in for a simple exam and bitewing xrays, and have been charged a total of $900. They screen my calls whenever I call, and just want to continue using me as an atm at this point. I was sent multiple confirmation texts and emails for my 9:30 am appointment today. I waited 40 minutes before asking about the wait the response I got was " We were just talking about that, they will be out to get you shortly" No one talked to me about a thing so after a 51 minute wait I walked out, giving them the same courtesy of an explanation as I received. I've been going to this dentist since it was further up Charles since 2005. I've increasingly been dissatisfied with the service. It might be time to move on. read more

In the case of forgetting to write a review, I am guilty! I've been a long-standing patient of Inner Harbor Dental and have seen them through the ownership change. Dr. Parekh and his team did not skip a beat I really like Dawn, my hygienist. She really takes her time and educates you along the way. She's also open and knowledgable when you have questions. Also Jamie is an awesome hygienist as well. She's fast, efficient and nice. My visits have always gone smoothly, even during Covid. During Covid, IHD does take temperatures. Additionally, they have other safety precautions in place. If you are a patient, they do offer validated parking. read more

I moved to Baltimore during the pandemic and in my search for a dentist found this gem. There has been a bit of turnover since I started seeing them, but nothing like I experienced at other pandemic-affected places I tried. The entire staff is professional and welcoming and I come away feeling good. They worked with me to find an affordable alternative to braces since I'd lost my retainers a while ago and teeth have shifted a bit. A++ on level of care. read more

I stayed here for several years. To my shock, the last time I went in 2022, the entire office had been overhauled. None of the doctors, hygienists, or secretaries remained. It was incredibly bizarre and my care was not as good. What happened to Dawn, Mary, Indya, and Peggy? I loved Dr. Merritt, but she moved. Also I just requested my most recent note and Dr. Lee had recorded things that were completely untrue - from how often I brush and floss to whether I got fluoride or not (I always do, but it said I didn't). My dentist recently retired so I had to find a new practice. I found Inner Harbor Dental Associates after searching Yelp and other review sites. Today was my first visit. A fantastic experience! Every person I encountered from the employees at the front desk to the hygienist and dentist were very friendly and professional. The hygienist was very through and explained everything as she was doing it. They did a full cleaning, set of X-rays and a 3D imaging scan to show me what my teeth looked like virtually. Loved the technology. Then I met Dr. Parekh. He was very professional and, after examining me, gave me a detailed treatment plan of everything he recommended and the cost breakdown. The prices were very reasonable. Overall, I am very happy with my decision to visit Dr. Parekh and his team. I had been with my previous dentist for 30 years and was not looking forward to finding someone new. Thankfully, Inner Harbor Dental Associates turned out to exceed expectations. read more

It has taken me a long time to write this review, but after many years here it goes. If I could rate in negatives I would do so without hesitation. In 2013 I went to Inner Harbor Dental (IHD) for orthodontic treatment. After speaking to Donna Querido about my one year treatment plan I made my deposit and was (what I believed at the time) on my way to fixing a crossbite. I spent almost 3 years of "treatment" from both Donna and David Querido and left still needing orthodontic treatment - About 1.5 years of Invisalign, and then another 1.5 years of braces - and overall a little more than 2 years with Donna, and about a half a year with David. My frustration began to grow during my second year of this "treatment" plan, and especially when Donna on or about November 2015 wanted to remove my braces and told me that my teeth were going to fix themselves with a permanent retainer. When I went in for this removal, I told her to please make sure that her assessment is correct because I didn't want to go through orthodontic treatment again, at which time she "pondered" and then said something to the effect of 'on second thought we should leave the braces on.' Unbeknownst to me, IHD which was built by both Donna and David, was in the middle of being sold to a national dentistry corporation. In hindsight and in my opinion, she wanted to remove my braces because she wanted me off the books as a liability for the new owner. She retired at the end of 2015 and my treatment was transferred to David. Moving forward, one day, under the "care" of David I asked him how much longer my treatment would be because I was approaching the 3 year mark and he said something to the effect of "you were under the care of Donna not me so I don't know how much longer..." It was at this point that I questioned him about getting my money back and going somewhere else to finish the mess they had done to my teeth and then he yelled at me and slurred some curse words and kicked me out of the office - this incident occurred around May 2016. He even went so far as to call the cops on me, a patron and patient of his practice. Please keep in mind that at the time of this occurrence I had fully paid for my treatment. It has taken me this long to write this message because I just began new orthodontic treatment in DC, yes after 4 years of this crazy escapade with both David and Donna, and almost 7 years since I first sought their professional guidance. I'm finally at a point where I can trust another dentist and want to move forward and end this chapter of my life that I commenced in summer of 2013. If David is still practicing (I know Donna retired) please be advised of his "care and attitude towards patients." You both attempted to stop me from smiling, but guess what, I've been smiling since September of 1988 and will continue to do so regardless of everything that I went through under your "professional guidance." 09/2023 - Very negative experience. I will not be returning again. Must have been a change in ownership / management. I was yelled at by the "office manager" for neglecting my bill. I was approved for a cleaning through my dental insurance. 6 months later I get a $175 bill for the cleaning. I called the office to sort things out. I never received a call or emailed statement prior to my call. The office manager called me a week after my call and was extremely rude and hostile. She claimed SHE KNOWS I've opened my bills. All emails received were promotional emails except the one received a few days prior to the office manager call and AFTER I called them and asked what was going on. Why would they approve me to be seen if my insurance did not cover that service? That should have been something I was informed of PRIOR TO BEING SEEN. I've never experienced such poor service from a manager before. Had she been respectful and professional this matter wouldnt be such a big deal. Instead she made threats and accusations. She kept saying ARE YOU GOING TO PAY THIS OR SHOULD I SEND IT TO COLLECTIONS??? like are you kidding me? I've just NOW been informed that this service isn't covered under my dental insurance yet the front desk claimed it was prior to receiving the cleaning. I went to inner harbor dental in February 2022, they are the most incompetent people I have ever encountered. I made an appointment was told eventhough it was for 7:30 am I needed to be there by 7 which I was, but they were not. They proceeded to ask me what I wanted done which I was told would be cheaper out of pocket. I was given a figure which was short fifty dollars for the evaluation. Next time I went for my appointment got there they didn't remember I had an appointment. They saw me I tried to get ahead of the payments so I took instead of 850.00 I took 1000. Of course I was told they hadn't figured in the lab so they needed an additional 250. This continued practically every appointment I had. I'd get there my appointment wasn't listed the computer didn't lock it in. So after going there I had to have my ride come get me and take me home. The first thing they did was asked what I wanted they showed me a snap on smile you can get on Amazon, then they showed a picture of something that looked like a partial plate which I opted for. They fixed my front teeth after putting in a ton of novicane which I figured was for the snap on smile to fit. This was I thought to extract roots in my mouth. Then they decided to take my blood pressure which was high, which kept me from getting the rest of the work done. Now if this was an issue why didn't they take it before giving me noviocain the first time. Then the next time the teeth weren't there the real reason the dentist had covid. I will be here all day if I related everything they did. But one thing I noticed they always "under charged" me so they would have to come back for more money. Oh and as far as the snap on smile is concerned I wouldn't wear it to a dog show. They know I grind my teeth and didn't advise me to wear a tooth guard at night. I have a tooth that it almost cracked completely in the middle that they didn't think needed to be addressed. read more

No problem. You should tell your patients about the antibiotics that you prescribe though. They gave me severe SIBO and months later I still haven't gotten rid of it. I may have this for life now because of those things. So please warn your patients first before prescribing it to them. read more

I have been coming to this dental office for a few years now, ever since I first moved to Baltimore, and I can't believe I haven't yet reviewed it! This place is a hidden gem, quite literally, as the offices are tucked away in the corner of N. Charles and Baltimore Streets, but once you find the doors, you're set! The front desk ladies are all super competent and friendly; they seem to always have all your information up to date, and if there's anything you need to change, they're very good about that, too. I have never waited too long to see my hygienist or dentist, though the waiting area (and entire office) is very clean and bright, so it's not that big of a deal anyway. My hygienist, Mary, is the best. She makes every cleaning fun and informative. I actually love going to see her because she's gentle on the teeth but still gets them sparkling clean, and I always learn a bit of dental trivia and/or real-life trivia when I'm with her. She has the best tidbits on how to keep my chompers fresh. I also actually enjoy going to the dentist's because of Dr. Parekh, who's got incredible bedside manner. He's positive, down-to-earth, and such a professional. I feel lucky to have such a capable team in charge of my dental needs. To top it off: they give the best swag after each cleaning. I had made an appointment through their website, and checked the box saying to communicate to me via email only, because I knew I would be unavailable for phone calls. They then sent me an email asking to confirm my appointment, and I did via email. On the day of the appointment, the receptionist greeted me by saying they didn't think I was coming, because I didn't pick up their calls. She also stated she left 2 voice mails, which I checked for afterwards and that definitely never happened. I apologized several times for not picking up, even though I had clearly stated to contact me by email only (if email communication doesn't work, then that shouldn't have been an option in the first place). She proceeded to go on about it for another minute or so. (Like seriously, I got it the first time). She then said I would have to wait, as the doctor was super busy and that, of course, they weren't expecting me even though I scheduled AND confirmed the appointment via website and email, respectively. As a new patient who was there for the first time, I felt unwelcome. The dentist was clearly in a rush (even said so himself "I'm trying to keep things moving along here") and didn't give me any info until I asked for it. I felt like I was pulling teeth (no pun intended). As for the hygienist, I asked what a root canal procedure was and I received a one-sentence, rather inadequate response. Overall, I understand that I may have come in during rush hour and that it's that weird time between Christmas and New Year's and everyone was probably exhausted, but really, the whole experience was unpleasant for me. read more

I have been going to this Dentist office for years and I must say that I love it!! I have always had a wonderful experience. I usually have Dawn for my hygentist but I saw Mary today and they are both thorough, friendly and informative. My dentist, Dr. Querido is awesome! He has done all of the dental work that I have had done. The receptionist are very nice and they do a wonderful job greeting patients and getting us in to have service done. I strongly recommend them to anyone who is in need of great dental care. The facility is clean with a welcoming atmosphere. As a healthcare provider myself, I have to give props to Inner Harbor Dental. Everyone is so kind and friendly, from the dentists and the hygienists to the receptionists; everyone greeted me with a smile. Unfortunately, I have had to visit the establishment more frequently than I'd like, and each experience (5x's so far) has gone smoothly. I had taken a few years off from the dentist (to put it nicely) and they did not judge me for that. If you are afraid of novocaine injections, they will treat you very compassionately and work with you. Great customer service and a patient first mentality make this an excellent practice. read more

Today, @ Inner Harbor Dental Associates not only were my teeth and gums thoroughly cleaned but it was very nice to be in the company of my hygienist, Mart. My hygienist, did a really thorough job with my teeth and gums.....they're still "tingling" and she explained how very important it is to visit your dentist, floss daily, and perhaps rinse. Mary also said Inner Harbor Dental Associates keeps up with the latest technology to keep your health up to par. My dentist, Dr. Parehk, then comes in to assess my cleaning and confers with my hygienist and a treatment plan is then set up for me to achieve my goals. My dentist is sooo wonderful...he insists on going the extra mile for his patients and all the office staff like Ms. Terry and Ms. Fern are so customer friendly and accommodating. My first experience with (two fillings and an extraction) them was kinda okay. My second visit (three more fillings) was bad. I arrived in time for my appointment and was made to wait for 1 whole hour, before the doctor actually came to see me. Then after being late herself, she was rushing to finish up my fillings, as if it was my fault that she came late!! She was rough, and not quite professional! I went to Inner Harbor Dental for orthodontia. After asking if I had any problems with my bite or jaw pain, to which I answered no, Drs. Querido assured me they could fix my smile. After three years of braces and $4,000, my teeth don't meet on the left side. When I told David Querido, he said the bite would "settle." After a year of waiting for the teeth to "settle," and after the permanent retainer became disconnected, I went to an actual orthodontist who has treated my friend's four kids. I told him how my teeth were painful and literally loose every morning. Of course, he advised me to stop wearing the retainer. He says he can correct my bite in 15 months, that my teeth are compromised and could start falling out in my 50's (I am 46). He told me his goal is to make sure his patients have a healthy bite. Yes their teeth look good after wearing braces, but the cosmetic effects are just a side benefit. He also said there are many dishonest dentists like the Queridos. I won't go into details of how I was treated personally, how a misplaced and unusually painful shot of novocaine caused my eye to remain temporarily open and unable to blink, or how Donna Querido gave me an unnecessary filling that resulted in a root canal. read more
