The dental hygienist, (whose name I cannot remember), did the most thorough cleaning I had ever had. She was also very compassionate, understanding that I had a lot of anxiety. She was also very pleasant and engaged me in conversation. That helped to take my mind off of what she was doing. What I was most happy with was the results of the thorough dental exam. The dentist I had recently seen gave a thorough exam and a $10,000 treatment plan! Yes, a $10,000 treatment plan. Most of the "issues" on the plan were bogus, and I knew it. I have very good oral hygiene and not issues with my mouth, smile, etc. There was one issue that Dr. Joshi said needs to be monitored. Their techniques and machinery are state-of-the-art and they even have cable-tv so you can watch while you're in the chair! I have been for the sedation dentistry, regular cleanings and ZOOM! teeth whitening and I now can say I am totally comfortable with going to dentist! I love the way my teeth look and feel and I really like everyone that works there. They also are going to help my fiance out with a mouth-guard to help with sleep-apnea in the near future. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction.
