There was no call or text in advance to confirm the appt so I called 4 days in advance to confirm my appt. We arrived 6 min late, and they said they will have to dock 15 min from our massage time. I don't understand the math but ok. Then, they said we have to wait for the therapist who is running late. I don't understand why we are getting docked in time when the therapist isn't even here yet, and we didn't get a call or apology in advance of our massage time that their therapist was running late. Then we ask, how late is this therapist. The receptionist says the therapist has a flat and is getting it fixed. They couldn't call someone else to come in? Are they expecting us to wait? We asked to reschedule the massage since we already booked the Groupon so we have to use it. Pretty annoyed since we wasted over one hour to get there and back after waiting a whole month for the appointment. We rebooked it for the next day same time. Came back the next day and ten minutes early this time. We were asked to leave our shoes in the front and wear the provided slippers. They took us to our room that had two beds side by side. They provided a nice soft fluffy blanket which felt so warm and comfortable. The massage itself was amazing. My therapist, Hannah, started with my back and worked through my knots and stretched my arms and legs. She used a generous amount of oil and washed it off with a hot towel. The head and face massage was probably better than the more expensive day spas. I was left feeling so relaxed. It's a no frills massage place and their prices are more than reasonable. Located upstairs and turn right. Parking on the street or in the back behind the building. Their massages are so good and totally worth it. And you didn't massage my scalp, neck or shoulders I was just here yesterday and you serviced us, I know what this service entails. The lady then rudely was like "no, done I did 60 mins". Can't lie to me, I had my phone in my hand. I clearly showed her it was 5:11pm. She then said oh you come in 4:15pm. Complete lie. Seriously, don't sell a service and then cheat someone out of it. We paid $100 cash for 2 people the first day with $30 tip. The second day, $100 cash, no tip deserved. I have no point of reference for this, because I have never had one before and specifically was looking for a facial that did not include one, but it was very quick (maybe 5 minutes for my whole face) and did not feel thorough. In between each product, she placed a nice steam towel around my face, and then used it to RUB the product around and off my face, causing irritation. -1 point for technique. This is not what I expect from a facial. It was not relaxing, my skin does not feel fresh, plump, or rejuvenated. By the end of the day, my skin does feel smoother, but I do not think it excuses the lack of professionalism during this service. And I am not convinced that I couldn't have achieved these results on my own with a home dermabrasion tool and my usual products. -1 more point for overall experience. To the customer who complained of cigarette smell, I smelled it as well. She finds a way to balance the whole body while focusing on the areas that she finds her particularly tight. She's a combination of typical deep tissue massage along with guasha scraping and cupping. She also provides a warm towel for your hands after finishing your session. I don't know what else to say. I've had nothing but great experiences. She has recently taking the location from Samantha's serenity holistic massage due to her retiring for her family, So if you missed seeing Samantha. I think Dalila is just as good if not better than her. I believe Dalila does offer more than deep tissue massage but that's just what I personally get.
