I have a huge fear of people touching me and I trusted her on day one! When I came in, I was in so much pain and my body was so tense and spasmed. She sat me down and asked me questions about my body and totally calmed my fears. I had booked my first massage for 90 min and she ended up massaging me for additional time (30-40 min) and didn't charge me! She genuinely wanted to help me feel better. And I have been going to her ever since! Samantha has a gentle presence and is one of the most genuinely authentic people I have ever meet! She's such a doll!! And she's funny too!!!!! When it comes to massage she goes in! Deep tissue? She's your girl?! The way she works to get a knot out is truly magic and I never feel bruised after. When I was in Long Beach last weekend, I missed my usual acupuncture appointment and my neck and shoulders were killing me. My husband kindly treated me to a massage, and I was lucky to snag an appointment with Sam. She's a sweet and friendly person, and inquired about my pain so that she can focus on the target areas. For an hour, I was carted away to a world free of muscle pain and tension, as she meticulously worked on untying my knots created by computer work, stress, driving, housework, and the other perils of modern life. After the blissful session, my neck and shoulders felt looser, freer, as if they were brand-new. Sam is a truly talented healer. I traveled down to Long Beach with my husband for a work conference. The plane ride, the hotel bed on top of a back surgery I recently had had my neck and shoulders kind of a mess. So I gave her a call and explained to her about my back surgery and that I was apprehensive about massage. She really took the time to listen and said we could work on my neck/shoulders only. She also suggested that I could lie on my side for the massage since I am still not able to lie on my back, or belly for that matter, for long periods of time. But it was when she said she could doing some healing energy work on my back that sealed the deal. I was a yoga instructor before my surgery and do a lot of healing work with crystals so I just knew that she would get it. And I was right! It was one of the best massages I've ever had and I've had a lot! Samantha was so sweet and caring. That really came through during the massage! After the massage, she gifted me with a lotion with essential oils for nerve and back pain. I'm a huge lover of essential oils so that was the best gift! She gives the most amazing massage, because she is able to provide both a powerful yet gentle massage at the same time. I have been a member of Massage Envy for years and her massage far surpasses anything I have every experienced at Massage Envy. There is a grace in the way she conducts her massage as she glides through each movement with ease.
