Bagel Time: Where My Self-Control Goes to Die If you're…read morelooking for a light, calorie-conscious snack, keep walking. But if you want a bagel so fresh it practically still has a pulse, you've hit the motherlode. Here is the breakdown of my experience: The Bagel: I ordered a "regular" bagel, but what I received was a delicious, doughy life raft. It was roughly the size of a toddler's head and had more structural integrity than my last three relationships. The Schmear: Most places treat cream cheese like a precious resource. Not Bagel Time. They apply it with a masonry trowel. I'm pretty sure I could use this bagel to insulate a small shed. The Vibe: It's chaotic, it's loud, and it smells like heaven's bakery. You will stand in line, you will be overwhelmed by the 47 different types of cream cheese, and you will leave happier than you arrived. The Verdict 5/5 Stars. I came for a quick breakfast and left needing a nap and a larger pair of pants. My doctor might disagree with my choices, but my soul is at peace. Pro-Tip: If you can't decide on a flavor, just get the Everything Bagel. It has enough garlic to keep vampires away for a minimum of three business days.

There is also a kiosk you can use if you don't have the app. The roads in this area can be a bit challenging to navigate. If it's a nice day, just walk over. The interior is very high energy. I love the metal musician sculptures. The huge diorama by one of the entrances shows this spot in Worcester when the canal was the main source of traffic for goods. This is after all The Canal District. Today the canal is under the street just outside that door. Times they do change things. I very much appreciate these types of eating venues. Where everyone can get what they want. Sushi, Cuban, Burgers, Italian ice, Boba, Cookies. Options. For shopping you'll find a wine merchant, The Market Pantry sells loose teas, oils, spices and kitchen goods and an Irish goods store, Erin gift shop, sells beautiful Aran Island sweaters, Muckross brand hats and purses along with other Irish inspired items. A few high tops are located along one wall in a hallway toward the back. We found one larger table in a small alcove nearby the high-tops and then there is an open area at the front that hold about twenty tables or so. A microbrewery is attached to the market too. All the vendors we spoke with were very friendly. Definitely could have walked away with so much food and loose teas and gifts. I got the spicy ramen and my partner got the chicken non spicy one, please refer to pics as I forgot the name... highly recommend getting the chicken ramen, the broth is light and savory, additionally lots of protein and veggies to make it the perfect ramen bowl. The spicy ramen was okay, I love spice but this one was a bit starchy as if too much starch was used to thicken the broth. The noodles were also way too soft; and there's very little protein. I got beansprout as an add on and that was $2; a bit much if added onto the bowl.

Our food arrived fairly quickly as well. All of the staff are very friendly & attentive. The space is cool, very relaxing & open. As for the food, it was very, very SALTY. The mussels were good but once you reach the bottom of the bowl it was salty. The flavor of the wings were good but also salty. The ramen was also extremely salty as well so it seems like everything they make here is just overall on the salty side. If they just lessened every dish on that part, it would be perfect. But especially the ramen was very hard to eat without drinking 5 cups of water. The shirley temple was delicious tho! Food is 3/5 but service is a 5/5. So I will say the service definitely saved the rating from 3 stars.

Once inside, the lighting shifts to a nicely dimmed atmosphere that still feels comfortable and easy to navigate. We had a separate area for our group, and it was spacious enough to move around and mingle without feeling cramped, which I really appreciated. We had a three-course, set menu, and I started with the chicken soup. It was light and comforting, a great way to warm up the palate, especially since it was cold out that night. For my entrée, I chose the chicken parmesan. The chicken itself was crispy and not overly breaded, which I liked. I did wish there was a bit more sauce on the pasta, but overall it was still a solid dish. Dessert was cheesecake, which was nicely moist and topped with fresh berries. Our dinner also included complimentary drinks, and the service throughout the evening was very good. The staff was attentive and answered questions easily which was great for this larger dinner. Overall, Via Italian Table is a great option for company dinners or group events, but I'd also stop back in on my own even if just for a light drink at the bar.

Unfortunately that's were the positives end. The restaurant in unbearably loud. They start you off with bread and unseasoned oil which is weird, no parmesean, chili flakes, oregano? Nothing, just olive oil. We started with calamari, which was mostly tenticles, I don't mind this, but my wife only likes the rings. My wife ordered the surf and turf, I ordered the FraDiavlo. The food came out in decent time. Which can be added to the good column. Upon delivery the first thing we noticed is that the chef cut the steak in half. This caused the juices to run out leaving it dry, the surf was 3 shrimp, which seemed like they are precooked and used for either cocktail or this dish as they were chewy. My guess is they are precooked, chilled and brushed with oil and herbs before broiling to warm them up. The FraDiavlo lacked any hint of chili pepper and I had to request chili flakes just to make it edible. It consisted of 2 scallops, 4 shrimp and 2 chick lobster pincher claws. In summary, under seasoned, over cooked food in a place where you can't hear yourself think. Plans on spending upwards of $200 if you want wine or dessert. We won't be returning as there are far better restaurants in the area.

We went today and ordered Pho Ga (chicken) We noticed that…read morethe menu had changed as they usually had just Pho and a size of the bowl..this time no size.... just one size, so I am guessing that there could be new owners or new management?? We ordered hot tea, but the teak cam in water drinking glasses which were really hot to pick up (not so good!) While sitting there, we noticed this woman with black hair with bare feet as she had taken off her shoes in the restaurant. Not so appetizing!! Our soup finally arrived at the table and the smell was that of fish. Yuk. It was supposed to be chicken but chicken doesn't smell like FISH. I took a little taste and sure enough it tasted like FISH. We asked the waiter "is this supposed to taste like fish?" and he said " there is no fish in it". We advised that the soup tasted like fish and was not good. After that, we decided not to stay but also not to pay for the FISH soup that was supposed to be chicken and just pay for our drinks. We then paid for the drinks and left the place. Beware. if you go there, don't order ANY of their soups, it is really disgusting and could make you sick. If this is a new owner, maybe you need to take a cooking class??? And then maybe tell people to keep their shoes on in your restaurant!

Seafood Phoever was very good. It didn't have the hand made fish balls that Hien Vuong is known for but beggars can't be choosers. This is my new spot and I will be coming here often. You order and they deliver the food to you. Each table has a pull out drawer for napkins and utensils (it's quiet genius). Place is clean and has only been open just over a year. I hope they stay in business for a long time.
