She is great. Very thorough. Took the time to explain everything and check everything. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes.

I had chosen Valley Eye Associates because they were listed in my insurance plan. The reason for my…read morevisit though, was because I had had been examined at an office that did not have an Optometrist and needed new pair of glasses. In brief, Valley Eye Assoc. filled the script for the new glasses. Apparently the script was not correct (this was not Valley Eye Associates fault). I returned to the original doc to re-examine and received a new script. I wasn't comfortable with the manner with which this office performed the exam. I had Dr Lee at Valley Eye re-examine me. His exam found that the second script, from my first doc, was not accurate either. I then was passed on to John, Optometrist at Valley Eye. John took the time to explain the rationale for each step of the progressive lens process. Can't say enough good things regarding the folks at Valley Eye Associates. Thanks you.

I am so glad I decided to visit with Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee was patient, helpful, and had excellent bedside manner. Dr. Lee is an exemplary model of how every doctor should interact with patients they're treating, I truly can't remember the last time I had such a pleasant visit to a doctor's office. I felt that my concerns and safety were completely prioritized during my exam. I cannot recommend this location enough.

I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes performed by Dr. Fishkin. At 79 years old, I have been…read moretreated by many doctors in several countries throughout my lifetime, and I can honestly say that I have never experienced such a professional, smooth, and error-free process. From the initial consultation to the surgeries and follow-up care, every aspect of the experience was handled with exceptional skill, efficiency, and attention to detail. Dr. Fishkin and his entire team exemplify the highest standards of medical care and administrative excellence. If the world operated the way Dr. Fishkin and his staff do, we would all be walking on clouds. Their professionalism, organization, and patient-centered approach should be taught in medical schools as a model of excellence. I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for Dr. Fishkin and his team. I highly recommend them to anyone considering cataract surgery or seeking outstanding eye care.

Dr. Fishkin's office schedules numerous appointments before and after the surgery; he and his staff make the patient feel welcome and well-cared for. Dr. Fishkin carefully explains the surgery and what to expect. He calls the night before the surgery, the night the surgery occurred, and the night after. As for the surgery itself, Dr. Fishkin sees the patient before and after. During the surgery, the patient feels confident and reassured as Dr. Fishkin says, "You're doing great," and explains each step. I recommend him to everyone needing eye care. We are so lucky to have this amazing doctor practicing in New Jersey.

I went in to get my eyes checked to get new glasses and after the refraction exam, he gave me a…read morecomputerized test that analyzed my eyes without asking me if I wanted the test. He then said that my optic nerve looked strange using this machine, and asked me to return the next week so that he could further analyze my optic nerve using some newfangled equipment, which was on loan to another doctor at the moment. So, I returned and the technician (his son-in-law), conducted the computerized test. Ross then said that my optic nerve still looked swollen and advised me to return in a few months because it was likely that the swelling was caused by some medications that I was taking. So, I asked him to give me a printout of what he saw in his computerized machine and write down what he thought the problem was - he wrote "papillodema" with 3 question marks at the end. Papillodema as I discovered on the internet, is swelling in the brain, indicating a very serious illness (MS or a brain tumor)!!! I then brought this to a real MD who asked me if my pupils had been dilated (which they hadn't), so he did so. The dialation indicated that my optic nerve was healthy and pink and not swollen. I showed him the printout that I received from Dr. Ross and he just said,"what am I supposed to do with this?" So, be very wary of this so-called Doctor. He evidently bought some very expensive machinery which he is trying to pay-off at the expense of unnecessarily alarming his patients. Furthermore, he should have just dialated my pupils himself, instead of scaring me.
