Top notch service! Mom broke her glasses. Quickly found a great pair and got them ordered quickly.

Love, love, love how thorough, kind, and transparent Dr. Debbie Kim and her staff are!…read more They can speak both English and Korean if one or other is more comfortable for you. I do not have vision insurance, so they made sure to let me know that a contact lens exam was not covered by my general health insurance. They also offer a rebate for contact lenses if you purchase through them. If you are a first time patient, they recommend you fill out their new patient form either online and send through email or print it out and bring it in for your appointment. This helps get you in and out quickly if you're uncomfortable with being out due to the pandemic. All staff are also masked, and there is a glass partition between the reception and the waiting room. I noticed Dr. Debbie Kim also held up a piece of transparent plastic between herself and me when she had to lean in closely to examine my eyes. I truly appreciate how thorough Dr. Debbie Kim is. She is the most detail-oriented optometrist I've ever had. She is mindful of small details like your mask potentially creating condensation on the examination tools, which could inhibit the accuracy of the exam. She really takes her time to make sure that your vision is checked accurately. I've had optometrists in the past who rush me through the exam and leave me with an inaccurate glasses prescription. So I'm happy with how calm and precise she is. After my exam was done, and I had gone home, I realized I forgot to ask for a copy of my glasses and contact lens prescription. I emailed them the same day of the exam, and they got back to me the day of with a copy of my prescription. The entire process was so smooth. I highly recommend Dr. Debbie Kim's office for vision care.

Adrien was extremely helpful in finding me prescription sunglasses. I never felt rushed and he found me a pair that really worked. Additionally, when I went to pick them up the prescription seemed off. After double-checking he confirmed that the prescription was the one ordered. He encouraged me to go back to the original place and said he would work with me if the prescription changed. Great customer service! I'll be back and will bring my husband also.

Wow. Never thought I would say that about an eye exam and…read moreeyeglass shopping experience but allow me to explain. This lovely shop/office was suggested through my insurance so I made an appointment. I'd been having vision issues in my left eye for a few months and had been wearing readers from a high-end online store that I thought were pretty fashionable. As soon as I walked into Eyes on Hudson, I realized that this was going to be a VERY SPECIAL experience. The shop itself is beautiful. Gorgeous glasses of all types line the shelves as well as accessories you simply do not see anywhere else. Sweet Tina at the front desk whisked me into my first examining room with a thorough question and answer session that prepared me for my best ever (and I'm NOT YOUNG) eye exam with Dr. Rogerson. Thorough does not even begin to describe the process by which she diagnosed my astigmatism in one eye that had gone unnoticed at previous appointments with other doctors! As if that wasn't enough, it was time to select a pair of glasses. Peering at all of the gorgeous options, I asked the very stylish optician Justin for help. From across the room he appears with a stunning pair of Hunter green frames that I would have never selected on my own-- but look PERFECT on me and I'm not a vain person! How did he do that? I'm never going anywhere else for glasses EVER! When I went to pick up my frames, I also was fitted for contact lenses which was another awesome experience. Thank you Santiago for your assistance in selecting the coral chain--you were right--the yellow was too sallow! The entire team at Eyes on Hudson is just EPIC. Don't change one thing. And thanks everyone!

(I brought my own frames.) When I received the glasses and I couldn't see out of them, I found out from a subsequent visit to my orthoptist and another optician that both pair of glasses we made incorrectly and that the prescription in one pair was way off. When I contacted Eyes on Hudson about the issues, my concerns were met with exasperation and an overall unwillingness to work with me. I have since gone to another optician who specializes in difficult prescriptions. Perhaps Eyes on Hudson is very good for general glasses. But I would not recommend the business if one has any special needs.

I had chosen Valley Eye Associates because they were listed in my insurance plan. The reason for my…read morevisit though, was because I had had been examined at an office that did not have an Optometrist and needed new pair of glasses. In brief, Valley Eye Assoc. filled the script for the new glasses. Apparently the script was not correct (this was not Valley Eye Associates fault). I returned to the original doc to re-examine and received a new script. I wasn't comfortable with the manner with which this office performed the exam. I had Dr Lee at Valley Eye re-examine me. His exam found that the second script, from my first doc, was not accurate either. I then was passed on to John, Optometrist at Valley Eye. John took the time to explain the rationale for each step of the progressive lens process. Can't say enough good things regarding the folks at Valley Eye Associates. Thanks you.

I am so glad I decided to visit with Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee was patient, helpful, and had excellent bedside manner. Dr. Lee is an exemplary model of how every doctor should interact with patients they're treating, I truly can't remember the last time I had such a pleasant visit to a doctor's office. I felt that my concerns and safety were completely prioritized during my exam. I cannot recommend this location enough.

I went in to get my eyes checked to get new glasses and after the refraction exam, he gave me a…read morecomputerized test that analyzed my eyes without asking me if I wanted the test. He then said that my optic nerve looked strange using this machine, and asked me to return the next week so that he could further analyze my optic nerve using some newfangled equipment, which was on loan to another doctor at the moment. So, I returned and the technician (his son-in-law), conducted the computerized test. Ross then said that my optic nerve still looked swollen and advised me to return in a few months because it was likely that the swelling was caused by some medications that I was taking. So, I asked him to give me a printout of what he saw in his computerized machine and write down what he thought the problem was - he wrote "papillodema" with 3 question marks at the end. Papillodema as I discovered on the internet, is swelling in the brain, indicating a very serious illness (MS or a brain tumor)!!! I then brought this to a real MD who asked me if my pupils had been dilated (which they hadn't), so he did so. The dialation indicated that my optic nerve was healthy and pink and not swollen. I showed him the printout that I received from Dr. Ross and he just said,"what am I supposed to do with this?" So, be very wary of this so-called Doctor. He evidently bought some very expensive machinery which he is trying to pay-off at the expense of unnecessarily alarming his patients. Furthermore, he should have just dialated my pupils himself, instead of scaring me.
