In a walkable location in Fell's Point which makes it ripe for foot traffic, but otherwise a little challenging to get to. Worth it, though! The moment I got in front of this place, the smells were delicious! I felt like a kid in a candy store walking in, there were plenty of sweets, including fudge, chocolate, candy, and ice cream. When we made our way to the front of the line, we were greeted by a really nice gentleman. He was friendly and even asked us if we would like to try any of the flavors before buying them. I tried butter pecan, Kilwins tracks, Kilwins mud, and the cappuccino chocolate chip. To be honest, the butter pecan ice cream tasted like something I can buy from a grocery store in a quart sized container. Pecans were a bit stale but it was rich. The Kilwins mud ice cream tasted very vanilla-y with some caramel mixed in. There were some chocolate chips in there too, but a little too sweet for my taste. I settled on getting half a scoop of the cappuccino chocolate chip in the Kilwins track, which is basically vanilla flavored ice cream with peanut butter cups, and chocolate fudge swirls. I am a huge peanut butter and coffee flavor lover, so this combination worked really well all this on top of a waffle cone. One thing I want to add - when they handed me the waffle cone, it was warm. They had just made it fresh which was really delicious. It was not too sweet, extremely crispy and light. It was the perfect touch to the ice cream. The coffee flavor was there, and you can't go wrong with peanut butter cups. I had only wished that the ice cream was a little creamier, but overall pretty good. It is a little overpriced, but it is downtown Annapolis so it is to be expected. I would recommend to come here and give them a try. It's not the best but it's pretty good. read more

We walked in after having dinner at DDG, there was a family ordering and then a bunch of people standing everywhere. we got in line however the girl behind the counter decided to help another group that came in after us. We finally get to order and it was as if we were being rushed to order because she didn't want to serve us. I got a toasted coconut and cappuccino chip milkshake which was disappointing, the ice cream was still pretty hard and not really mixed well with the milk. $10 wasted... I ordered the turtle truffle cheesecake with chocolate, my bf ordered either Oreo brownie or chocolate brownie with vanilla. He kept tryna get candy but I told him put it back his sugar level will be ridiculous. The ambiance is very colorful very white chocolate background with chocolate designs on the walls and ice cream murals very welcoming. Fought the urge to press my nose to the glass and stare wantonly. You can literally see them dipping apples and making the treats for the next day. Promised myself to be back when they opened @11:00. Worth it! It did not disappoint. The caramel is made with tiny bits of sea salt, that adds a wonderful texture and balanced out the sweetness of the caramel perfectly. They also have chocolate covered caramels with sea salt from around the world e.g. black Hawaiian sea salt, Mexico, etc. Shout out to Brae who assisted me. I didn't realize they don't take Amex. I did have some cash in hand, so we figured out what I could purchase before heading back to my hotel. He could have made me feel awkward, but instead he worked with me to ensure I had a good stash to share and bring back some of the goodness to my hotel and friends for the evening. Would highly recommend not only for the sweets, but for the excellence in customer service. Without a doubt, this place makes me feel like I'm at Willy Wonka! It's a quaint little store that offers a display case full of caramel apples, fudge, truffles, and ice creams. There is a whole wall covered with treats like chocolate almonds, raisins, and cacao beans. The scoop barely filled half of the cone so it was definitely a rip off. We all got waffle cones (they are homemade and were still hot when we got them filled with our ice cream) with single scoops. 4/27/14 If you have a sweet tooth this is SO the place for you!! After a fabulous brunch with my boyfriend we decided to walk around Fells since it was such a beautiful day! As we venture down Thames Street we saw another couple eating some delicious looking ice cream so we asked where they got it from and they pointed across the street. So we decided to walk some more since we just ate brunch and stop through on our way back to the bond street wharf to sit for a bit by the water. When we walked back and got to the shop I was so excited. Like a little kid literally! Just looking in the glass windows and seeing all the goodies gets you before you even walk in. But oh how glorious it is when you enter in! I feel like they have everything you can think of for a person that loves sweets. Candy apples, cakes, chocolates, etc. I made a b-line to the ice cream! So much to choose from. The amazing manager, who even let me take a fun pic of him for my Yelp review, let me try the cake batter ice cream.....OMG!!!!! I am in love. It has chunks of baked cake in the mix! SOOOO GOOD!!! Even my boyfriend loved it and he doesn't like sweets. Of course I got a scoop of that. I should have tried other flavors but I was sold on this one. I'll just have to venture back to try other ones another time. The prices are really decent to for original recipe, fresh, flavorful ice cream. As we were heading out after paying we noticed the waffle iron in another section near the door. Curse you Kilwin's! Ruining my New Year's resolution so quickly. Why, oh why, is your store so pretty and filled with so many gooey sweet confections and why must you be located so conveniently to the bars I frequent? You make it so easy for me to say, "Let's just pop in for ONE truffle!" It never fails that we leave with enough dessert to satisfy 47 pregnant women. The staff is always smiley and patient as we dance from display case to LED backlit display case. I can never leave there without at least one apple (for now and another apple for tomorrow.) Did you know that you can have them cut up your "for now" apple and leave your "tomorrow" apple whole; just put it in the fridge and it'll keep overnight. IF you make it that long. Sad to say, we haven't tried the ice cream here, although they seem to always be making fresh waffle cones. If we're in the mood for frozen treats we tend to hit up the gelato place around the corner, who seems to have a better selection. That's okay.
