Toasted coconut OH MYLANTA! Ok so ice cream is a must- good ice cream- SIGN ME UP! If it was purely the ice cream this would be 5 stars- sadly the service was lack luster and made ya feel like you were intruding- but the ice cream and sweets- convinced the whole group to get some despite it being cold- and no one regretted it- why? Because it was that good! If you see a Kilwins- GET THE TOASTED COCONUT!!!

Great place to grab ice cream by the water! The store sells all kinds of sweets, including fudge and cake and chocolate. We got the raspberry sorbet, which was good but a bit artificial. The serving sizes are generous, and there's a 10% discount for Hopkins staff and students!

These Dubai truffles are a must-try!

The service isn't particularly friendly, and they don't go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience, but the chocolates and ice cream are worth the trip to New Orleans. I wish there were one in Baton Rouge.

I know Kilwins is a chain but I have to give a special shoutout to the service we had here on a little sweet treat date night! The sweet little lady who helped us pick our ice cream flavors was SO adorable and helpful! She offered suggestions on flavors, let us try flavors, AND even made us try some she thought we would like even after we ordered and paid. She made our date night so special and fun for such a simple ice cream stop. They have so many varieties - it can be overwhelming! But she made the experience so fun and easy to navigate.

Key lime pie ice cream was so good! Quick service and the nicest ladies that work there. Good location but not the best parking.

Kilwins is a chocolate & ice cream store I hear a lot of people talking about so I decided to stop by. The ice cream is decent, not as fresh as I wouldn't liked it. Some of the ice cream had a bit of frost bite. Next time I plan to try their Carmel apples.

The moment I got in front of this place, the smells were delicious! I felt like a kid in a candy store walking in, there were plenty of sweets, including fudge, chocolate, candy, and ice cream. When we made our way to the front of the line, we were greeted by a really nice gentleman. He was friendly and even asked us if we would like to try any of the flavors before buying them. I tried butter pecan, Kilwins tracks, Kilwins mud, and the cappuccino chocolate chip. To be honest, the butter pecan ice cream tasted like something I can buy from a grocery store in a quart sized container. Pecans were a bit stale but it was rich. The Kilwins mud ice cream tasted very vanilla-y with some caramel mixed in. There were some chocolate chips in there too, but a little too sweet for my taste. I settled on getting half a scoop of the cappuccino chocolate chip in the Kilwins track, which is basically vanilla flavored ice cream with peanut butter cups, and chocolate fudge swirls. I am a huge peanut butter and coffee flavor lover, so this combination worked really well all this on top of a waffle cone. One thing I want to add - when they handed me the waffle cone, it was warm. They had just made it fresh which was really delicious. It was not too sweet, extremely crispy and light. It was the perfect touch to the ice cream. The coffee flavor was there, and you can't go wrong with peanut butter cups. I had only wished that the ice cream was a little creamier, but overall pretty good. It is a little overpriced, but it is downtown Annapolis so it is to be expected. I would recommend to come here and give them a try. It's not the best but it's pretty good.

$50 for a cup of ice cream, a milk shake and 3 chocolate treats. I'll start by saying I think Kilwins is extremely overpriced. I thought the ice cream flavors looked yummy and creative but nothing special enough to account for $10 ice cream. We walked in after having dinner at DDG, there was a family ordering and then a bunch of people standing everywhere. we got in line however the girl behind the counter decided to help another group that came in after us. We finally get to order and it was as if we were being rushed to order because she didn't want to serve us. I got a toasted coconut and cappuccino chip milkshake which was disappointing, the ice cream was still pretty hard and not really mixed well with the milk. $10 wasted... Overall, I would not recommend coming here...there are plenty of great ice cream shops that don't cost you so much and you would get better service.

I didn't try all! It was my first time. We took caramel apple and ice cream (French Vanilla and chocolate) It was really tasty. I didn't try apply yet (caramel apple) By the way they sell slice of apple, too. Little bit pricey but everything looks fresh and inviting...

Just moved to Fells Point and stopped by tonight with my dog to try out one of the ice cream shops in the area. Amazing ice cream! I got two scoops of the New Orleans Praline and it made me miss home a bit. Cute little shop with lots of ice cream and other sweets to choose from. Brayden, the server, was also really cool. Will be back!

    Can't pick....all super yummy!

Great fudge and ice creamery in one! Ice cream is creamy and delicious; their fudge is even more delectable! What place has Maryland Mud, Superman, and Mackinaw fudge all in one place?! You won't be disappointed!

I'm not sure how I feel about this place. We randomly stopped in after having lunch near by. I will say that it smells really good in the store. The service: There was no wait around 2 - 3 pm on a Wednesday. The server was nice and answered all our questions. We had many questions about the various flavors we had never seen before. She was really patient with us. The ice cream: The ice cream was just ok. I had the Maryland Mudslide, which was vanilla ice cream with caramel and chocolate chips, with pecan toppings. It was ok. I wouldn't order that flavor again. My daughter had the caramel ripple in a waffle cone. She said she liked it. I think the ice cream was over priced for the amount. The server literally used a scopper and a scale to measure it to ensure it was just the right amount. 1 scope of ice cream was $7 and each topping was an additional $1. I've had better and cheaper ice cream at Cold Stone and Marble Slab Creamery.

We were in the area and came across Kilwins. Upon entering, the smell of chocolate was amazing. They sell all sorts of sweet treats covered in chocolate as well as, ice cream, fudge, toffee, brittle, etc. Employees are friendly and quick. We really enjoyed their ice cream, it was cool, creamy, and not overly sweet. Their dark chocolate cashew turtles were excellent. Their chocolates are a bit pricey, but it's quality chocolate. Overall, a great place to visit if you're in the area and looking for a treat.

Seating: The space is not big enough to host people but there's a table or two for pairs right outside. Vibes: Welcome to Mid-Govans, Baltimore! It's a grit and grind area but definitely a nice local residential spot - a diverse area with some nice local gems. Jinji's shop is pretty nice - small intimate but vibrant! I dig the neo-soul music playing and the see through window so you get a glimpse behind the scenes. FOOD/DRINKS: Date Poppers (Recommend) Dates filled with cacao nibs, honey, sea salt, and dark chocolate. I enjoyed the natural sweetness and the chew texture of the dates. Teh cacao nibs gave a nice crunch with an earthy flavor. Peanut Butter Turkish Figs (Recommend) (3 per person) Figs stuffed with creamy peanut butter ganache and enrobed in rich dark chocolate. I can see why they limited this per person. Soft, chewy, and sweet figs with a nice caramel touch to it. The peanbut btter ganache was smooth and nutty and the dark chcolate helped bring some good balance. CUSTOMER SERVICE: I worked with Guy (father of Jinji). Great guy that was very professional and personable TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. Ooooi! If you're looking for some elevated local chocolate, this is your spot. Yes it's a bit higher than your usual chocolate shop but that's what you pay for. When in Baltimore, do consider visiting this place. I wish Jinji and her business all the best. #SupportBlackOwnedBusinesses TIPS: * Ask about their limited-edition or seasonal bars -- they rotate in creative flavors and specialty pieces. * They got vegan options too!

Hand-making chocolates since 1917, Rheb's is a 4th-generation family business, hidden on Bloomfield since 1950. It's just north of US-1 Wilkens Ave near Caton Ave, in a tiny little stand-alone building with a red tiled roof, a stone-like facade, and a hand-written red neon sign above the white corner-facing door. You'll walk in facing an L-shaped candy counter, with some Maryland-themed products and some pre-packaged treats along the other walls. Take a number by the door if there's a line. We waltzed right up to the counter at noon on a weekday :-) You can buy by-the-piece, or by-the-pound in various size boxes, pre-selected or chosen one or two at a time. We got a boxed half-pound for our friend, one of these, a few of those, plus a handful for ourselves :-), and some Maryland merch. They have so many varieties! We got milk-chocolate, dark-chocolate, white-chocolate. Nut clusters and turtles, chocolate-covered cherries, caramels, creams and buttercreams and truffles, and one "Birthday Cake" vanilla cream with multi-color candy sprinkles over a soft milk-chocolate shell. Each lovingly created original was fresh and more-than-delicious. Now, when you choose your own, you pay by weight, and our box was a little over the pre-made-half-pound $15.60. I promise you, it was worth every penny. (Remember pennies?) Our friend loved her wrapped birthday-box of Rheb's so much that she didnt share a one! She said she finished the half-pound in two days!!! I call that self-control. Our handful of singly selected candies barely made it to our home :-) You pay at the counter where you order. Rheb's Candies is open 9am-4:45pm, closed on Sundays, in the little building on Bloomfield that was originally half of the garage to their home! You can find a classic portrait photo of Louis and Esther Rheb to the left of the candy counter. The chocolates (you can choose from milk, dark,or white for some items) are fresh and made with quality ingredients that keeps folks coming year after year, including me!
