Seemed like a great place to have a flight

Ocean Beach is a great spot for a beer crawl and this place should be high on your list to include in your tour. Lots of IPAs so only fitting to have a flight for my styles and my brother who was joining me on this beer tour. Loved the outdoor area, perfect spot for a December evening

A lot of bars will have, at best, simple bar games and a few board games, but this one is almost centered around them. They had tones of free ones that were not crowded and most of which I had never seen. The lighting is also fun and unique as well. It is similar to an arcade style without being too jarring. The beer itself was good as well. I got a hazy and it was nice and refreshing on the hot day we got there on. There was some nice outdoor seating that, even with a nice sunset, wasnt too crowded. Overall a nice place with atmosphere that mixes it up from the usual.

I had seen this place either on TikTok or instagram and it immediately caught my attention. A cool ambiance, games, AND beer? Girllll, count me in. We grabbed five different small ones because flights are always fun and they had an interesting variety of flavors. Our favorite beer ended up being the pickle one, we grabbed a four pack on the way out. If this place wasn't two hours away from me, I would be here so often. This is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to whenever I'm in San Diego.

This is the coolest brewery i've ever been to. I recommend going at night because the black lights are so fun. They have 3D glasses you can use to walk around and look at the art work. The deck is very cool too. There are so free games to play while you are there as well as a variety of drinks. They do flights and have options like pickle beer if you want to get adventurous! If you're like me and not a beer drinker, they have cider. But my favorite options are their frozen drinks. Yummy!

Lucky to find parking on the same block. Dog friendly space. Their IPA's were pretty good. They have a few other games besides pinball.

Absolutely, Positively the BEST brewery in the Ocean Beach area. First and foremost the variety of beer is so good that you've got to try as many as you can. I had a flight to start and all of the 5 beers I tried were excellent. I favor dark beers so I went full pour on my absolute favorite, Chocolate Macadamia Stout. The OB Bubble Dubble a dark Belgian Ale was right up there as well. As you take your time drinking your favorite, enjoy the VERY COOL vibe. The blacklight along with posters and artifacts bring out the atmosphere of one FUN place. They've got a lot of games to play as well. On our trip to San Diego, (we stayed near Ocean Beach) we started here as our first stop and then 5 days later we made it our last stop. Just had to have one more of that Chocolate Macadamia Stout. Christie our bartender the first time was just so nice and accommodating in answering all my questions and letting me taste samples. She was just pleasant as pleasant can be. SO, if you're looking for GREAT beer at a brewery with a GREAT vibe with absolutely GREAT bartenders, check out Kilowatt Brewing in Ocean Beach. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Cool spot with a nice outdoor area to enjoy some craft beers in the sun. I enjoyed my IPA and my wife liked her Korean lager. Would def come back again in the future.

My girlfriend took me here, her favorite brewery in town. Great ambiance with great drink. The background lighting is cool and fun to take photos.

Loved the vibe of this spot! Glowing pictures and artwork with black lights, cool. You can even put on 3D glasses to enhance the trippy color vibe! Service was nice and you're able to sample stuff before you get your drink or flight of choice! I'd definitely come back for the awesome vibes, great music and fun selection of beers! Dog friendly :)

Super fun vibe and good beer!! My personal favorite was the S3 Blue Razz sour. They do flights of 8 beer, which allows you to try a wide variety. The decor is really eclectic, with a ton of neon and black light.

A psychadelic neon fest of beer! Kilowatt Brewing is a super cool spot with lots of games, lights, and of course beer. You can't miss the lights from the street as both the outside and inside are extremely colorful. I love how many different games they have too. They have fun group games like a maze and balance game. Plus they have board/card games in the back too that you can use. And next to the games, they have 3-D glasses you can wear to see the bar in a whole other way. We went before dinner on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. I got a flight of beer and I'd say that the ones I got weren't too memorable. I'm not sure what the maximum number is but the bartender said that you can have a flight in any 4/5 (maybe more?). But overall I think Kilowatt is a great place to hang out with friends since there's so much to do and see!

What a place! Not only are they a brewery but they are a place where your imagination and sense of competition can go wild! They have lots of games to play, 3D glasses and infinity mirrors! Not to mention the art! Neither my wife nor I drink beer which was no problem at this neon gem! They had 3-4 seltzer or malt liquor based drinks some of which were brightly colored alcoholic slushies! We sipped on the watermelon seltzer and took in the sights of all the cute dogs coming and going on a Sunday afternoon. It was truly a perfect random stop. The guy who helped us out had vibes just as chill as the spot he worked in! This place lights me up with 1000 Kilowatts of coolness!

Trust and believe... it's a $4 shot, ain't gonna be some quality drank! However, it got the job done. The service was awesome! Our waiter was cool, he was attentive, didn't make us feel rushed, and did a good job servicing our table. Keep in mind, I had two kids that couldn't stay still. He handled it well. The food, was ok. We ordered the BBQ plater for two, a classic cheese burger, got the kids a cheese burger, and chicken tenders. The burgers were good! Good classic burger, seasoned well and came out hot. The fries were nice and crispy, could have used a little more salt, but I do like my fries extra salted, The chicken tenders... honestly... was the best dish that we had, it was the kids meal, but you know... I gotta pick at my kids food lol came out piping hot, well seasoned, great texture... and sauced down with their BBQ sauce... fire Now for the actual BBQ platter, I was disappointed in it... we got it with brisket, chicken, and tri-tip (we replaced the pulled pork for tri-tip, an $8 dollar upgrade). Our sides were Mexican corn, fries, & Mac n cheese. The proteins came out kinda cold, they had no smoke taste at all, tasted oven made, and not actual BBQ. The tri-tip was over cooked, and chewy to eat, it's a lean piece of meat, and is easy to over cook, I had to sauce the heck out of it. The brisket had a good texture, was under seasoned in my opinion (I like heavy pepper and salt on my brisket) but it didn't have any bark. I'm use to my bbq have a nice smoke ring and a good bark. The chicken was sauced, and was mid. The sides were aiiight. The Mac n cheese was the best side, the mexican corn was served in a cup, and was just ok. I'm use to Mexican corn being on the cob, rolled in mayo and cotija... with hot sauce! Messy and stuck in my grill. The BBQ sauce carried the whole dish... Overall it was a great experience! I would definitely return here for the vibes, burgers, and those bomb chicken tenders! Not for the bbq.

I ordered the Margherita and it was incredibly flavorful, not bland at all like some places tend to be. The crust was perfection: crispy on the very thin outside, soft and airy on the inside and tasty, with that subtle sea salt coming through in every bite. It's honestly hard to explain, but the pizza just tastes phenomenal. You can tell real care goes into it. This place is a must-try, and I'll definitely be back.

As soon as that bartender helped me it went through. I went during their happy hour, and I got their blonde. The glass that I was served in had this egg like smell - that threw off my pallet a bit by the time I received my food. For food, I ordered the pizza munchkins. Which was basically just like a little round breadsticks with Parmesan cheese on top and on the side it came with spiced shakshuka sauce, poached egg and cilantro. The bread was very tasty. It was warm. You can tell that it was fresh. I felt like the sauce needed a bit more acid and salt. Especially the poached egg. I felt like it needed some salt. And I could tell that they had just poached the egg and they were keeping it in warm water because it was really firm. Texture wise the bread was tasty. I wasn't a fan of the egg or sauce. The ambience it seems like there's a lot of seating once you walk in. It was pretty empty when I got there, but by the time I received my food, it filled up pretty quickly. And there's even an area for families to dine in the back area where the coffee shop normally is. I wasn't that impressed but I'm gonna try and come through one of these days for the coffee and see if I have a better experience.

Then my friend noted that they are fire roasted, and the second batch wasn't as burnt but they just were overcooked tough wings lol. I know this bc this is how my mom liked her chicken so if you're like my mom, get those chicken wings! They're probably fire but not for people that don't like drier wings.
