We have enjoyed the pizzas and wings that KillA Pie serves up. Each bite is filled with flavor and satisfies! The style of pizza served, Detroit Style, has found a home in Texas. I hope that KillA Pies will be around as long as I am. I'll rate this place as high as possible. 5 stars, 100%, 10/10, GOLD MEDAL, MVP. Thank you to the proprietor(s) who made this possible, I salute you. read more

Food was amazing . But the service was unbelievable. The workers where either on there phone or hanging out talking when multiple patrons waited for over 10-20 mins for any kinda of service. read more

Some in our family didn't like typical deep dish. But Killa Pie is so good, it's now our go-to for pickup. They've made believers out of our deep dish haters! read more

My favorite pizza spot. High quality and always perfect Detroit style pizza. Good bar as well.

Service was great! Easy to get a seat here and had a good salad but... I was disappointed by the gluten free pizza option. The regular pizzas looked so good that I thought they would be more similar. Everything else was great but I wish GF pizza eaters had tastier options! read more

I had dinner with my wife and two toddlers this evening and we had the most amazing experience. We are regulars here and they have always provided excellent service and the food and atmosphere is always top notch. Tonight was a real show in a business going above and beyond. Everything was going fine as usual during our meal. I never had to ask for a refill on my drink and our server, Alex, made sure we were taken care of with everything else. When it was time to pay our bill they had a very minor issue with one of their payment systems which was no big deal. They right away offered WAY more than what I thought was necessary and when I insisted it was no big deal they would not budge. What they did was a class act on making sure they appreciate their customers. They have earned a loyal customer for life. And we already told our family about the incident who also agreed. This is a really special business and I hope the word spreads! Thank you Killa Pies and Alex! You rock! read more

Their pizza is one of the best I have had since moving here last year. The wings were delicious and the value and service was good!

Good food and good service. Would recommend you give it a try. Restaurant was clean with good ambiance.

This is the best pizza I have had since moving to Texas. I have been here for about 6 years and have had all kinds of different pizzas from all kinds of different places. I am a Chicago Native and never thought I would like pizza this much outside of Chicago Pizza. It was even good getting it delivered from Uber Eats. So I imagine it is even better when eating in the restaurant. I had a large original sausage, and we got a small Pioneer. Both were great. We also had an order of wings. Which were pretty good. I will be a repeat customer whenever I have a taste for pizza. If you haven't tried it you should give it a try. The price is fair and the quality is there. read more

I was looking forward to trying this place based on all the raving reviews. My experience was quite disappointing. We got several different things to try the menu out. 1. Brick bread- too much seasoning 2. lil darling- this was not what I expected. It was not great, but yet the best thing we ordered. 3. Meatballs- they were okay; a little too heavily seasoned 4. Original submarine- not enough cheese 5. Original remodel- tasted like there was nothing but tomato sauce on the pizza 6. Original pig riot - way too heavily seasoned 7. Original pioneer - pepperoni was very light Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience. I'm going to continue looking for that spectacular pizza in Texas. read more

Detroit-style Pizza at this location is DELICIOUS! The Sauce, The Toppings, The Crust, All Tasty! And to make things better the $5 Old Fashioned during Happy Hour coupled with the GREAT SERVICE cannot be beat! My Wife and I will return for more great Pizza! read more

I'm not sure that I knew what Detroit style pizza was before we went here. But now that I do know, I'm so happy we tried it!! This pizza is so fresh, light and airy, I had the cheese bread for my main meal and I don't know what the dipping sauce is but I want to have it injected in my veins! It is so tasty and flavorful. Can't wait to go back and try even more items. read more

Pizzas were great and prepared on time. The staff were nice and friendly and provided a nice greeting.

Legit!!! They nailed the Detroit crust! It's perfect! Highly recommend the imposta for an appetizer and the pioneer. We did pepperoni, fresh mozzarella and it was excellent. The menu is its own language like a Starbucks of pizza but I will be returning as a regular. read more

This was an absolutely amazing place. The environment was very inviting and the staff was wonderful. Sam was a very attentive, friendly and went above and beyond with anything we needed. Has the potential of 5 stars, great crust and flavor. One pizza I had was full of topping and was delicious, the other one was a joke. A sprinkle of chopped salami which few slices didn't have any meat on. For the price of the pizza it's lame to skimp like that. It absolutely did not look like the other yelp pictures. I'm hoping it's probably the employee making the pizza and skimped vs. the restaurant telling them to skimp I hope. read more

The Killa Pie is good but the bar surprised me. I ordered a pepperoni and chicken pie and it delivered. It was a pick up and once I got it home, the crust was not as crunchy as I would have liked but was probably because I hung out at the bar for a drink. Aside from the lack of crunch, the flavor was spot on. Back to the bar; I met Tristan, the bar manager and he gave me a little history on their concept. He mentioned the full bar and I asked what their "signature" drink would be. He said "That would be our Old Fashion". I am a fan and wanted to try it out. He mentioned that they make their own Bitters so I was intrigued. Grace made one up for me and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It was fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. One of the best I have had. My pizza was ready so had to stop at one but will be back. read more

This business will refuse to process orders to go because of the "pandemic". This is ridiculous. Because of this, they will NEVER have my dine in business. I am now editing my review as there is not an option to respond to the owner. My review is not "caustic or unnecessary". Because you only have a voicemail listing your name and hours, potential customers have no other way to reach you. No one answers the phone. It is an accurate explanation of your current way of doing business. Not having delivery is completely understandable. Not having to go orders defies understanding. Are we to assume that you have no boxes for dine in customers who need to take leftovers home? If so, that is kind of shocking. But I have to assume you have to go boxes. That would naturally lead to being able to fulfill to go orders. Again, not asking for delivery. Just an opportunity to purchase a to go order for taking home. read more

Obligatory I'm from Detroit originally. This pizza is the real deal. 100%. Not only is Detroit style pizza the best pizza, good Detroit style is next level. This is next level, real deal pizza. Service was good despite how wildly busy the restaurant was. Clearly there are a few things rough around the edges that will come with any newly opened restaurant. The check in process was a little chaotic and there were only tiny boxes for taking home leftovers (we had 3 of them lol), but these didn't affect the meal. I'm confident this will get sorted out. The key is the food. And that delivers. I will need to sign up for a gym membership now that this restaurant is so close to my home. Will. Be. Back. read more

Shout out to the owners. Great food, authentic Detroit pies and great service, especially in today's challenging employee environment. Ignore the clueless people banging on you for limiting your opening schedule. Reasonable people get it that a newly trained crew deserved an opportunity to get up to speed. A solid move to build a team committed to delivering a great experience And a negative shout out to you lowlifes who give this business 1 star for how they approached their opening. You deserve 1 star for being those miserable people who no one cares what you think. Do better or go back to California. read more

This is exactly what Prosper needs - a cool place to enjoy a drink and eat some good food. The ambiance here is noisy but entertaining. There are TVs playing the latest sports game, loud music, but it's not annoying. I came here with my family which includes 3 young children and they had a great time people watching. Don't expect to have a quiet, intimate convo with anyone. Pizza is delicious and very filling. Not good for the diet, but good for the soul. The only thing I didn't like - you couldn't tell who was a staff member and who wasn't. There's no uniform or iconic clothing so the waiters look like the customers. read more

Really good pizza!! We got to the restaurant about 4pm which is when they open. We were greeted at the door & seated immediately. Our server was very friendly... wish I remembered her name. She made some recommendations... we ordered the meatballs to start & my daughter got a side Caesar salad... both were really good. Meatballs came with toasted bread sticks which was great to eat the sauce with. We ordered the Celestial Pizza (cheese) for the kiddos with the thinner crust. Hubby & I had the Pig Riot (I think that's what it was called) with the thicker crust... very good. Loved every bite. We also got the dessert bar and split that between the four of us. All very good. Staff was friendly too... several of them came around to make sure we enjoyed our food which we did. We will be back. Love having causal dining places nearby. read more

I moved from Detroit 2 years ago, so was pumped to see this place being built. I went on day 2 of their opening thinking there may be some growing pains.... False. This place is LEGIT. Authentic detroit pizza. Very very good (I was in detroit actually 2 days before this and had buddy's so I have a good comparison - while not buddy's this place is awesome for a local feeling detroit pie). Kudos to the owner for studying and bringing an authentic menu and taste to the detroit pizza Name. You must go!!!!! read more

Don't waste your time. They obviously weren't ready to open and rushed it just to make some quick cash. Open tables, no servers, hostess is clueless, and when you can't get a pizza after an hour wait they won't give you it to go, they basically tell you too bad, go home, you should have called ahead. Oh wait....I did. Multiple times and there's only a recorded message telling their hours and saying they have call ahead seating but nobody actually answers the phone. What a joke. Not that surprising since it's the same owners of MASH'D which has always been terribly managed and a clown show. Another worthless addition to gates of prosper. Lol...all you have to do is look at the owners response to see what type of establishment this place is. Shameful. They could care less about their customers. Another day another dollar is all they care about. And don't worry Shane...my family and friends will happily support other local businesses that actually know what customer service means. Good luck - you will need lots of it. read more

New location and already Overall love this place... I would give 5 stars but today our order we paid for extra pepperoni and seem to have gotten less pepperoni than the "normal" amount we got when ordering last week... and the pizza was actually somewhat cold even though we picked it up immediately... again, new location and Willing to forgive though and last week our experience was stellar. Look forward to more consistency over time! Update- I just saw the review by Kimberly S (aka "Karen") and am giving you the 5th star for free. Some people are absurd. read more

Absolutely amazing food and the waiter was awesome! I have been wanting to try this place since it opened and sadly we are about to move to Rockwall and won't be close by. Delicious pizza - not quite Detroit style pizza but close enough to satisfy this Michigan transplant. I ordered online and picked up my food at the promised time. Staff opened the door for me upon my arrival and the hostess greeted me promptly and warmly. We enjoyed a Pig Riot and Pioneer, I enjoyed both but prefer the Pioneer. My only regret is that I wish my introduction to Killa Pie had been a dine in experience because a) the staff at the restaurant is awesome and b) I am very curious about several items on the menu and would love to learn more about their interesting options. Thanks, Killa Pie - we will return soon! read more

Unbelievably excellent Detroit style pizza. Mind blowing! Excellent service from Braydon! Fantastic place BUT for the choice of music. It would be such an improvement if it was perhaps more Motown and not so darned loud. Nobody wants to feel they're eating in a nightclub or at a rave. Otherwise, perfection. read more

The restaurant is very clean and the staff were all very attentive, greeted us the moment we walked in, and answered all of our questions. The pizza was just not our taste, which doesn't deserve a bad review. It was the EXTREME greasiness that I'm certain is not usual. The garlic cheese bread completely saturated the box by the time we got home (10 minutes). The box was soggy and 100% saturated with grease/oil. The pizzas were about the same, not quite as bad as the cheese bread, but so much so that we had to store the leftovers in a different container. We won't be back because of this, but if you're looking for fresh pizza in a cool atmosphere, you found your place. read more

Really good pizza place. I was hoping it would be since I had to drive to basically Oklahoma, but it was worth the trip and I'll do it again. Caesar salad and the kale salad are both really really good. Pizzas are solid. I like they have a 4 piece option so you can get a couple of different pizzas. The remodel was good with the peppers. It wasn't really spicy, but had a nice flavor. The pioneer was good as I liked the brick cheese. Sauce was sweet but not too sweet. read more

If you visit here, you will NEVER again choose delivery pizza or any other pizza for that matter. We are from Detroit. I do not even remember Detroit pizza being this good (Buddy's was the standard growing up). This is the REAL DEAL!!!!! But Buddy's definitely did not have toppings like garlic corn, soppresseta, whole milk mozz, kobe beef, umami oil, and siracha ranch just to name call a few... We arrived at 5:00 pm on a Saturday, and they were already busy. But they seated us immediately and our server really knew her stuff right down to the 48-hour dough rising process. What did we love? Everything! What did we order? The Imposter app, the Ugly Duckling salad (salivating just thinking about the mix of artichokes, avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, feta, pumpkin seeds, corn and a hint of dressing), and for pizzas we got The Remodel, The Pig Riot (a meat lover's dream), The Mucho Gusto (the table fighting over the Dorito spears), and for the waist watcher in the group, the Slender Crust Prom Night (yummmmm). They respect their salads...their appetizers...even their drinks! They know their food science. In summary, this place is EPIC! P.S. Add Vernors to the menu and the whole picture will be complete :) read more

Love your Caesar Salad with your amazing chicken!! and I added to my order your half brick bread!! Fantastic!

Good: Fast Seating, friendly staff Bad: Food Overall: Not for me. I visited with my wife and daughter. We ordered a plain pizza for my daughter, a pizza and salad for my wife, and bread sticks for me. The cheese was unpleasant. My daughter and I could not eat most of what we had. My wife that it was ok. However at $46 I was not impressed with my experience. I also ordered a Diet Coke and I'm pretty sure I got a Coke Zero. If you're a fan it may be preferable, but I am not a fan. I was optimistic that this would be another option, but I will not be back again. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine. read more
