Nice they have a water fill up station too, even though it's on the smaller side for a co-op. Staff was really nice.

They have all the spices I could think of, as well as their own seasoning mixes for chili, spaghetti, and vegetarian chicken broth. They carry dried fruits, ghee, and locally produced butter, honey, and grass fed organic beef. I believe almost everything they have is non-GMO if not organic. They will gladly tell you what is what, and why. The ladies that run it are very nice and extremely knowledgeable. They can help you make choices that won't disagree with your dietary issues. Not knowing much about lentils, I told her I wanted just enough green and brown lentils to make two batches of soup and in 20 seconds she had them for me in two small baggies. I even got to sample some of the dried fruit and vegetarian bacon bits. They're located on a small street that gets very little traffic. There's plenty of room to park on the street, but you could probably just park right in the street and no one would notice. I believe they are only open Thurs - Sat, but if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.

I enjoy collecting and sampling wide varieties. I am a bit of a fan... Cedar Lake Teas has a decent enough selection of tea whether it be loose leaf or bagged. Their selection is not enough to win me over but it is a good start! They may not offer the largest selection of tea but you can feel the love that has been put into the selection they do offer. I love the ginger peach (even though I hate ginger in most forms) and the hibiscus bliss most. What truly won my heart with Cedar Lake Tea is that I currently reside in New Richmond and they are a local New Richmond based company that has stretched their arms out to surrounding areas. I love going to both local and not so local stores and restaurants only to spot Cedar Lake Teas on the menu. It gives me the warm fuzzies. Another great reason to support this company is the fact that you can call up their Warehouse and place an order directly through them to pick up! The staff members have always been courteous and enjoyable to speak with. I hope this company continues to grow and expand. Came to Winona to ice climb for a few days with a pal. A quick search led us to the co-op. Their website has the daily menu posted which was extremely helpful (and tantalizing!) Their hours were reasonable given the season and the options plentiful. Both days of chilly, cold climbing ended with trips to the co-op for fresh organic veggies, fruit, as well as chocolate and snacks. But also with a HOT MEAL which was so appreciated by us. We took everything to our hotel room and feasted. Everything was delicious and the staff was so friendly and wonderful. The kitchen space (which was open and visible) was clean, organized and smelled great. The soups were awesome also and the leftovers from the day prior were available to take home and heat (so we were able to try one we thought we missed from the day prior - lucky us!) We enjoyed everything and love the prepackaged salads and desserts as well as the mains. The whole place was easy to navigate and had wonderful options. We know we have a good option for healthy, organic, and plant-based food during our next visit to Winona to climb which we are already looking forward to. Kudos to the staff of this co-op and to the community for supporting such a wonderful establishment. Winona is an impressive little community that should continue to support the outdoor activities year round it can host. We were glad to bring our dollars and our business to the community thanks to the folks running the ice climbing park and this awesome co-op.
