St Paul Meat Shop markets themselves as St Paul's only whole animal butcher shop. One of our favorite items is the pastrami. Their pastrami is amazing! Made and smoked in house. It is sliced thin and makes a great sandwich. They also have turkey which I believe is cooked sous vide. Our last visit we picked up some skirt steak and their juicy lucy burgers. As we were checking out, there was one condiment that we forgot and it didn't appear that they had that. The very nice gentleman was able to locate some for us and helped us out. Since I was not going to use them tell this fall I asked if they would be willing to vacuumed seal them, which they have done in the past for an extra charge. Which I'm fine with. I asked the young man if this was possible. He started to say yes then. The older guy behind the counter, I'm assuming the manager or owner said no we won't do that. Case closed no explanation. Told them to forget it and I walked out. Guess I will have to see if the Apple Valley store treats their customers any better.

They have basic items like eggs, milk, bread, cheese, that kind of stuff, but really, the only reason I go here for is the deli. They have this salmon spread that tastes good on sandwiches, but the one thing I absolutely love here is...THE POTATO SALAD. Oh. My. God. It's. Amazing. They have THE best potato salad I've ever tried in my life. I always come back here and get potato salad and salmon spread. IT'S SO GOOD! :-)
