The customer service is terrible. I have used Kiker twice and both times the communication has been terrible. Two years ago, I needed a motor installed, I had to keep reaching out to find out when they were coming, I then didn't get the invoice for over two months. Now, I need another motor already, I was told the lightening must have fried it. I called and ordered the motor with them and asked to get put on the schedule. Now, going on 4 weeks and nothing has happened. I keep having to reach out to them and ask when will the motor be installed. Over a week ago was their last response, I asked and was told the motor "Should have been on the truck yesterday", and then no further response. I have left voicemails and text messages, with no response. They simply do not care. read more

4 years in and have continued to have good service from Kiker. They just helped me replace my salt cell, which I didn't even know was still under warranty , no issues at all. Special thank to Sarah who still answers any question I send her. read more

I do not recommend this place. The manager Bridget was so rude when I went to get chemicals for my pool that they opened and they dumped algae, leaves, and a bunch of dirty water into the pool. They were mad that I told them about their guys work. I was super calm and had to ask her to stop yelling and raising her voice to me in front of my children. My husband had to take my children away from the situation because she wanted to continue to be unprofessional. A gentleman who was another customer in the store came over to us afterwards and apologized to us and said he couldn't believe how she acted in front of my kids. He said they're lucky it wasn't his family. I told them I just wanted to partner with her and a manager and another rude lady came over and said we don't want to partner with you anymore you can go to Leslie's pool. Ultimately she was pissed off because it involved her son at one point so it's a family business. Professionals need to understand sometimes when your people do a bad job or work for someone and there's a complaint the best way is to resolve it and to do so in a professional manner. It's sad that something so simple could have been handled appropriately but they decided to be unprofessional. I appreciate the recommendation to go to Leslie's pools. I do not recommend this place. I hate to leave this review because I've used this business for a few years. I've been tested with my patience for sure, but this is honestly ridiculous. I called about 3-4 weeks ago to repair my liner and open my pool for the year ( clean,chemicals, and open). I was very specific about what I'd like to have. The technician came and only repaired the liner. They turned my filter on ( full of leaves and debris mind you) and that's just about it. I called back again and specified that I wanted the pool open. Again, the said they will have someone back the next week and they just thought I wanted the filter turned on. I don't understand that because turning the filter on is a flip of a switch, but okay. I'm fine with a week later. I said okay and went on about my business. Time passes and still no one has touched my pool. Finally I just called to cancel the service because it's very clear to me that my pool's not getting clean by them. Their reasoning is being short staffed. THAT'S FINE and I'm pretty much a very forgiving/understanding person. However, I don't appreciate being lied to and simply ignored. That's not how you run a business and that's not how you keep reoccurring customers! read more

Kiker Pools know what they are doing with pools but their service department is really bad. I don't know if they're just too busy or just don't care, but we called for some maintenance a couple of weeks ago and have yet to hear back from them. They said they'd call back, but nothing. Good riddance Kiker. There are too many others more deserving of my business. read more

My advice would be to stay away from Kiker Pools at all cost. If you're like me, you probably prefer to do business with a local, family owned small business. I tried and or did take me awhile to figure this one out. The billing hours are very over inflated. There are plenty of pool companies in the area. read more

Have been dealing with Kiker pools now for 12 years now . All of my experiences have been nothing more than disappointing . I can see them working at a flea market than a professional organization , and they are far from that . Starting from there phone calls to there billing and installation . On August 11 2011 we moved into our house. We have an in ground pool that was working fine before move in. When we moved in we noticed that the pool was dirty and it needed to be cleaned. We called Kiker Pool supply to get the pool cleaned. When they came in they said there was something wrong with the valve and the pump and it needed to be fixed. That was the only time I was there with them. And let me tell you about their professionalism;- Brain Kiker, came with his son or nephew and an uncle. don't know the dudes name. He actually spat in the concrete area next to my pool. Multiple phone calls later they said they were at my place and valve needed to be changed. They alleged came in and worked on the pool when we weren't around. A month later I noticed that my pool was draining constantly. When I called them they said there were some acorns in the pump and it broke it and it needed to be replaced. This was not what I called them for and i dint know what work they did except for the first day. Now they send me a bill for approximately $300 for some plumbing services they did for me. There was no work order and I never signed off on anything. I called them over 2 months ago telling them I will not be paying for this and they caused more damage and I have no idea what work they did. I decided to ignore the issue as I am planning to install a sand filter next year from Leslie pools. During this time I went to Leslies pool and they told me how to clean my pool. And i got my pool cleaned that way. Today (9 dec 2011) I received threatening phone calls from Kiker pools telling me that they will be taking me to court. I have already filed a compliant with BBB about them. I am never ever going back to them nor I am going to recommend them to anyone. $300 dollars is nothing for me to pay them But I will not pay someone for doing something I never asked for, when I was not around or when its not working. If my pool didn't drain constantly I wouldn't have a problem paying them. Update: The lady who picks up the phone just said "You are dirt". Nice customer service and experience. read more

Local pool place that sells chemicals and generally everything that you would need for either an above ground or in ground pool. I find their pricing to be in line with most places and they are close to my house which is an added bonus. I recently used them for services to close my pool for the winter. They were easy to deal with and I actually had an issue with the pool cover where they had to come back out (which is why I give this a 3 ILO 4 star review) but they handled it professionally and I was billed after the service in a timely manner. read more

This family owned company is the definition of family. Two young women and a man were locking up around 4:58 when me and my aunt pulled up, the girls welcomed our business with a smile. They took time to test my water and explain exactly what I needed to do with the chemicals they sold me, even wrote out the instructions. The cashier talked to my aunt as if they were long lost friends. I can not say enough about Kiker pools, as we were leaving a service man walked in and even carried my chemicals out for me.
