Food was great, the Ramen was especially tasty. Also loved the tuna poke' appetizer. The service was good, our food came out quickly.

Came for weeknight dinner with the hubby & our 3 kiddos & we LOVED it! Service was wonderful…read more We ordered a bunch of different apps & rolls, but these were the most memorable for us... -Creamy shrimp: crispy & tossed in a slightly sweet mayo sauce. -Seaweed salad: standard seaweed salad but very generous portion! -Chashu ramen: one Ramen fed 3 kids. They loved it. Great flavor & noodles. Pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender. -Destin roll: absolute favorite roll we tried! Great flavors & loved the crab meat. Must order for sure. -Yuzu creme brulee: amazing! So light & not too sweet. A great finisher to a great meal. Overall, great, quality food. Fish quality is outstanding. Rice is perfectly cooked & seasoned. We can't wait to come back when we are in the area.

We were seated at our tables and greeted by the server, Jazz, who brought us the menus. After reviewing the menu, we ordered Edamame, Karaage Chicken, Thai Tea, Deja Vu Roll, Domo Roll, Avocado Roll, Alaskan Roll and DOMO Chicken Ramen. Our order included Thai Tea, Edamame, and Karaage Chicken. The Thai Tea was a refreshing start to our dinner, and the Karaage Chicken was delicious, easily one of the best we've had. We got the rest of the rolls Deja Vu Roll, the Avocado Roll, and the Alaskan Roll. The sushi rolls were delicious - everyone in our group really enjoyed them. We got DOMO Chicken Ramen and Domo Roll. The ramen was delicious and well-prepared with chicken. The Domo Roll was a highlight of the night and one of the best sushi rolls we've had. After dinner, we ordered the Yuzu Creme Brulee, and it arrived in just 10 minutes. It was delicious, and the cherry on top made for a perfect ending to our delightful meal at Domo Izakaya.

I have always had a good experience here. I'm disappointed to have to leave a poor review…read more Firstly, I had a $10 gift certificate, but the cashier seemed confused and asked which roll I was applying the $10 to. I was puzzled because the discount should have been applied to the entire order. She mentioned she hadn't seen one of those certificates before. When I explained it was from the gift card deal, she responded, "I know that... I just haven't seen one of these." Secondly, while we were waiting for our order, the same cashier brought two bags to the to-go shelf without saying anything to us. We walked around and eventually returned. She then informed us that the bag she had placed on the to-go rack earlier was our order, even though we had been sitting there the whole time. I ordered my usual, the Tour Bus Roll without the krab stick. This roll is typically baked and served in tin foil. However, not only was this roll not in tin foil or baked, but it was also cold. I spoke with someone who claimed they had made the roll. They explained that only the meat is supposed to be baked, but I order this roll every time I visit, and it has always been baked, served in tin foil, and never cold. The person offered to bake it, and I accepted, but even after baking, the roll was still cold. I'm very upset after this experience.

we were craving some sushi and we stumbled upon domo! we've never been here and made the drive to…read moretry it out. when we first walked in, it was a well decorated restaurant and loved the interior. you're supposed to order at the counter and find a table. i wasn't a fan of that system since the front can get crowded with people wanting to order, pick up orders, etc. other than that, we got a ton of food. we ordered two sushi rolls (deja vu and dragon eyes), veggie tempura, and sweet and sour chicken. the sushi rolls were HUGE! i'm so glad i didn't order another entree. it comes with 10 pieces and reasonably priced. the veggie tempura was a steal for $3. crispy and light. it had sweet potato, green onion, and zucchini. the sweet and sour chicken was great too. crispy with a tangy sauce and noodles. our meal overall was great. we enjoyed our time here and would come again. i suggest looking at the menu beforehand so you can go in and order right away. the staff were friendly and checked in on us while eating to make sure everything was okay.

Food was good. I enjoyed it enough to eat here about 7 times over the 14days I was in town…read more Though the ramen definitely needs work. It lacks serious flavor. As for the sushi it was fresh & delicious. I really enjoyed the food I got from here and I would eat here again if I can back in town. This review really is between 3-4 stars but the reason I'm going with 3 is because the way they seat you is pretty confusing & inefficient. You have to order prior to being seated which cramps the entrance and slows down people trying to pick up a to-go order. Which that being said.. I WOULD 100% recommend this place to anyone into looking for a good dinner.

Since my first visit, the smiles throughout all the staff made me feel so welcome, even at- home like. Very kind, very attentive, and again, very smiley! When I arrive, I can always expect something new for the month. Their monthly specials include ranges of sushi, entrees, and appetizers. The creative excellence always makes trying something new an easy 'Yes!' The hot green tea is very calming for the cold days and the sakes always warm you up in the right places. Today, I had hot green tea, miso soup, a sake flight, and a January special: The Dynasty Surf Roll. The miso soup and hot tea are consistent with tradition but the special was a culinary rockstar. It had steak, cream cheese, avocado, mixed ceviche, masago, with these crunch chips topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Can you say "Happy New Year!" . It was so flavorful. The mix of textures was complex but worked great with the ceviche and steak. I was pretty impressed. Not only does it look artistic, it taste like a masterpiece. If we can have this January special all year, I'd definitely add it to my go-to list. At Motto's, I believe the sushi is the star of their show. They do have bento boxes and kitchen entrees, but the sushi is unmatched. If you visit, I recommend exploring the sushi menu and trying their specialty drinks like the milk and fruit teas. The sake options also give range to their menu, with not only flights but dozens of sake and wine options. If you ask me, sushi, sake, and smiles keeps this restaurant dear to my heart. I'll definitely be back next month for the February specials, but truly, the sushi keeps me coming back much sooner. See you next flight!
