There were 2 food trucks when I went and a ton of people hanging out. I got a flight which is 5 beers here. I could have gotten 5 flights and I don't know if I would have been able to try them all. I did get a decent variety, a hazy IPA, a Pale Ale, a Hefe, a Stout and a Mullet Lite. What a great name for a beer lol. The The Alora Farming Double hazy IPA was my favorite amongst the 5 but all were solid. I've also bought a 4 pack of Dank Side of the Moon (another hoppy hazy IPA) and that one was phenomenal! We sent them back to get the nonalcoholic drinks and they came back in a whisky glass, not the taller water glass. Not sure if this was a mistake or they really raised their prices. The lemonade drink with a little color added to it is $7! But, the food is always delicious. My husband had the pot pie and it was the size of a regular 12 inch pie! I had the pork chop which was thick and tender. Some in our party love the bisque soup and order a bowl, which is huge. The cup size was more what we expect as a bowl size. The shrimp and grits is phenomenal too, which I have personally tried. Service is great and friendly. You are given a basket of delicious crusty warm buns comped but if you ask for more (which we did) note that they are .50 cents each. We entered the building and there was no hostess to greet or direct us but the place is not that big so we were able to find the room our table was set up in. We had heard that martinis were a special for $5. I was all set to get a chocolate martini or some other flavor but when we got the drinks menu there was one Expresso Martini on the menu and I don't like coffee so I decided on a Long Island Tea. The following report on the entrees found the grilled chicken salad with avocado, sliced almonds and feta Cheese was delicious with the chicken tasting like it was grilled on an open flame (maybe it was as we could smell char grill when entering the restaurant). The 4 lasagna eaters all agreed that it was very cheesy and lacking substance. They said you had to really dig deep through all most too much cheese to get to two layers of noodle and a little meat and sauce but it tasted good. They felt the online photo was misleading. The meatball sub was huge - like a foot long toasted bun with two very large meatballs, not something you could fit into your mouth but had to eat with a fork and knife. It was tasty. The spaghetti and meatballs and French dip had their plates cleaned and enjoyed their meals. The Nonas meat loaf was ok. I like my own homemade betterThe mashed potatoes creamy and I appreciated the ala dente fresh broccoli served with it.
