The bunk bad is unique in that it only has 2 legs on front side and is screwed to studs on the wall on the opposite side. This design utilizes lesser space in this room. I gave him a photo from an online add. He sketched the bed frame, build it, and installed it a week later. I, then hired him to frame and install 2 heavy doors from HD. He had to frame an opening that was to wide for my barn door. I had a barn door install to isolate the living room from the rest of the house for a business space. Richard and his crew also installed a new exterior glass front door to allow more natural light to enter my living room. I loved the results! New espresso paint will go on the frame of barn door and exterior door soon! Thank you, Richard, for superior craftsmanship. Their guys showed up on time. They were courteous. They were respectful of us, and respectful of our home. They asked for our input when they got to a part that required some judgement. They performed mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and drywall work. All done nearly to perfection. And they passed the acid test; after they left, I noticed two small things which I thought could have done better. They returned immediately and made these right. And they sent an invoice almost a week later (giving us an opportunity to discover any other issues, which we did NOT), and the invoice was for the exact amount of the estimate. They accepted my credit card payment over the phone. Our job was a small one, but they have definitely encouraged us to contact them again for our next job - small or large. It took this report where ROC pointed out clear lack of worksmanship on several aspects of pool constrcution, and several additional visits by ROC for inadequate revisions even after direction by the ROC including revising structural integrity of pool before the issues were even partially addressed. See issues at bottom of report for things that ROC ruled weren't in its purview, but to give you a flavor of what it was like to work with this company and its subcontractors. Broke ground January 2025, pool was supposed to be done April 2025. Settled January 2026. Have since contacted for support, received intermittently by text including on weekends, and was then this past weekend charged without notice (paid).

We got five bids for the job, and R&M came in lower than the other four. They did an excellent job on all of it. Ramiro was great to work with. On a job this large, things change and new issues come up along the way, and he was flexible with us every single time. There was also an insurance claim involved, which meant a lot of extra detail and documentation on top of the actual construction work. He gladly provided everything we needed, every time we asked, and never treated it as an inconvenience. That made a genuinely stressful process much easier to manage. Rafa, our project manager, was our day-to-day on site and was outstanding. He was attentive, there consistently, and always responsive when we had questions or added something to the punch list. He never made us feel like we were bothering him and stayed on top of the details all the way through closeout. We were displaced to an Airbnb during the rebuild, which means we trusted this crew in our home while we weren't there. Everyone was friendly, courteous, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. More than one crew member told us they just wanted to make sure it was done the right way, and you could see that in the finished work. They went above and beyond on everything we needed.
